The way the wrecking ball syncs with the music is great, something the people behind these trailers have done really well a lot of times. Shows how well they know what theyre doing, its great really.
I love the detail how Maggie understood Octane saying “What is he doing” (or as in the proper translation and not abbreviation “Papa, What are you trying to do”) in Spanish and even says “I dunno, but if it’s a villain he wants; I ain’t gon’ disappoint”

@@x8bitmyth684 his father seems to be the new antagonist since he was responsible for most of olympus' downfall. he sent the infected icarus fleet there and also initiated project defiance which teleported olympus to a city that looks like malta. it makes sense for him to get some spotlight as his dad is the antagonist for now.

the sound effect the alternator made in the fight near the end used by pathfinder sounded like a disrupter attatchent. So either the alternator is gonna stay in the care package for a while or disrupter ammo is coming back

Fuse is my main and I might play a lot of Maggie from what we can see
This has to be my favorite apex trailers, this was also the season I started playing the game
I love apex for how much lore and depth it has in it. It’s always been very interesting and also nice knowing you’re playing something more than just a free BR game like Fortnite that has never put much thought into its story

Based on the leaked “shotgun kick” name, I wonder if she’ll have some type of knockback on her shotguns
I believe datamines showed her melee having shotgun blasts, which uses shotgun ammo or something akin to that
There were some rumors on reddit that said her passive will be Shotgun legs if she punches its like a shotgun (requires Shotgun ammo) Passive is a flashbang kind of stuff and sadly i forgot the ultimate

I like how when Fuze hits Maggie with the flame bomb, he doesn’t do the classic trope (that he’s done before) of prematurely celebrating his victory. He waits and watches to see if it really worked because he knows firsthand how resilient and powerful she is.

I really like how once Fuse and Maggie clashed, Fuse was the only one of the legends capable of doing damage back to her. Seemed to me they're evenly matched in skill (even tho she was revived at the end), and I loved that detail.

Usually when the length and number of episodes increase the visuals suffer, so it wouldn't look as good as a series unless it's an intense moment they put lots of work into. Kinda like how Shonen anime crank up the visuals during a fight scene

League is a litteral money fountain. Riot Games is one of the most profitable company's in the world. they generate an enormous ammount of money per employee and they have the funding to support giant campaings like that. They likely made back twice the ammount of money it costed them to make arcane purely from skins.
apex legends isn't as big. Stll big don't get me wrong but also not as profitable. I don't thenk they would be able to fund that considering EA is publishing the game and isn't likely to sink money in such a gamble.
Riot struck gold when throwing the dices, EA won't even try.

Maggie would have actually been a very weird Legend to have in the game but, considering how they implemented her and how it fits into the lore is now perfect.

This trailer had a really big variety of wonderfully shown things, like the „rifts“ traveling to other maps / worlds, or this „breaking out of nature“ thing. The story really comes to a head.

I feel like this trailer has so many good scenes like Olympus restabilising , mirage falling, Maggie a final line, underground Olympus and more. Also can’t wait to see Malta (I believe that’s the city) underneath the map and hopefully that’ll tie into caustics plot of gas the city

Interesting. Love the way everything is presented. As I've seen down in the comments, it looks like Maggie has some sort of passive that we can see via the red aura. We may or may not have some voice lines between Maggie with Octane and Lifeline MAYBE but definitely for ol' Fusey. It also looks like she has a sort of explosive kit like Fuse, maybe having the ability to lay down explosive traps (seen when she plants the bomb on a box). The big ball that hit Fuse may be a bomb, but she can remote detonate it possibly as it didn't explode when it hit him. For Olympus...of course Apex destroyed it in some way...but I understand how it fits with the story.
This might only be a small guess but i think Maggie might have a slight explosive resistance as her passive proving the point of that would be at the Fuse cinematic, when Maggie was at pretty okay shape after Fuse lost he's arm by the golden granade explosion and now Maggie tanked the whole Fuse ult, but hey that is only a guess. (but i still want the shotgun leg passive)

I feel like after seeing Maggie meet up with Octane and Lifeline and pretty much joining their team, you should be able to recruit solo people into your squad if you’re missing a person.
You knock them, it lets them get downed instead of dying immediately, and you get the option to approach them and ‘recruit’, making them a part of the team.
That would be awesome. And it shouldn’t really count as teaming, since it’s accurate to the trailers.

Aside from the obvious interactions between Fuse and Maggie, I'm curious to see how the other legends will speak to her as they witnessed her terrorist attack and participated in her modified events.
But I guess they will stick to those introduced in Season 8 as the later ones (Valkyrie, Seer, and Ash) weren't in the competition yet, unless they have informed themselves or remain impartial towards him.
Given how she wants to destroy the Syndicate, I think her and Crypto will have some fun interactions!
