On that first black suit, those pockets look atrocious based on this I would not go to his establishment for a suit

That is a custom jacket with casual features. Not necessarily made for formal environment.

      Sorry, it just looks cheap.

It’s funny that this guy mentions smoking jackets because smoking coats and smoking robes are making a comeback thanks to the legalization of marijuana.

Bear in mind, that's in the US. Certainly not in the UK, which is where Edward Sexton is. I can't imagine there's many American stoners flying in to Savile Row to inject some eloquence into their weekend of getting high as fuck, lol.

@@OngoGablogian185 Fair enough. But the bulk of smoking coats and smoking robes these days are being bought by pot smokers, not tobacco smokers.
I know that pot is still completely illegal in the United Kingdom. They’re shooting themselves in the foot not legalizing it, as it has tons of economical and health benefits, much more so on a federal level (which all countries other than America will do) than state.
Bespoke in general and English bespoke in particular (most of all, Savile Row bespoke) will thrive more than a vast majority of businesses with federal marijuana legalization as smoking coat and smoking robe sales would skyrocket, making up for about half of sales. Hell, half of what the legendary actor and producer Leonardo DiCaprio buys from Ozwald Boateng is smoking coats and robes because he famously smokes pot.

@@timcorrell9863 I'm fully on board with the legalisation arguments with it - I don't enjoy it myself but it clearly has medical benefits as well as simply just the fact that people have the right to do what they wish to their own bodies. We are very hypocritical here, though. UK government exports huge amounts of marijuana for medical purposes but denies their own citizens the right to use it!
If people really are buying bespoke smoking jackets to get high in - well, that's actually quite hilarious and I support that too. I guess it only makes sense, given that most people don't smoke tobacco now. Better to see clothing evolve than die out.
