The Rake excels on what I think are collection pieces highlighting eras of men’s elegance transatlantic and beyond. I would love to see more grunge pieces on the subculture leading the conversations of todays male image. But I will never complain about having Stanley Tucci on a front page 🏆
As a reader, I never saw it as a B2B magazine. It's always seemed personal to me as a person interested in men's clothing/fashion (which should be everlasting).
Trying to make vacuous Hollywood actors seem profound and with something interesting to say is very dull. Everything is very much Regime approved and Cultural Marxist tinged.
I love it; my favourite magazine of all time. But for the past year or so it has not been distributed here in Australia.
