Bro honestly been looking for the most affordable way to do this and they not be junk and you’ve definitely found the way !! Most every other person that’s done this on CZcams uses aluminum molds and the plastex or whatever expensive stuff it is thank you for getting out an easy way I was about to give up on making my own baits until I watched this video and looked at baitmold.com thank you soooo much man keep it up !!
I’m so happy you told me about not throwing baits in the water. I didn’t know it was bad for the environment I figured they had to biodegradable in the first place. I will never do that again. Awesome I really appreciate you for that
I also get my supplies from DoIt Molds. They have some nice stuff when it comes to the Plastics, But as for Injectors and other molds, there are a lot of good options out there. Great Video!
thanks for the video Man it helped me out a lot I've been fishing ever since I could hold a fishing pole and I've always wanted to make my own bate thanks for the help and what is the biggest large mouth bass you have ever caught
I use Upper Hand Scents in my baits. The stuff is strong and my customers love my scented baits. I tried smelly jelly years ago... it doesn't compare! BTW, Upper Hand is also available through Do-it Molds where I get my all my supplies.
I throw my baits in the water all the time, but this has made me realize that it's not good, so I am going to stop doing that now. Thanks for the info, it is good for me and other people to realize it can kill fish
dude my injector should be here today and I been saving all my used plastics and wasn't sure they would work but this has been very helpful and I'm glad I wasn't wasting my money. needed to see this for sure so thanks bro!
Do you know of that baitmold company offer a laminate plate for the molds? Great video. I've been looking to start pouring my own baits especially flukes cuz i go thru them pretty quick when i Striper fish. Great channel bro. Im a new subscriber now 🎣🎣😎😎🎣🎣
at what temperature do you start injecting? 350 degrees? I just started remelting plastic and some of my baits are coming out with voids or big soft bubbles within the senkos...I am not sure if the issue is the integrity of the plastic or maybe my temp is off when I inject...?
Ever thought of getting a few desk top coffee cup warmers to set your Pyrex cups on to keep warm, rather than letting the wooden desk suck the heat out of them? They may help keep your melted plastic more liquid until you are done pouring/injecting.
Chasin' Bass awesome, thank you so much for getting back to me I really appreciate it. Did you go to the Megabass booth at the classic and meet my brother Justin Perelli?
great video. how you liking those stone molds? I wanna order a few but I'm worried about the durability of the stone. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
Cool man, would you recommend getting into this for an avid bass fisherman? I feel like I already know the answer.. just looking for some justification
Hey CB, Are the plastics you chopped up, were they originally store bought plastics or were they originally Plastisol? I have several pounds of random, probably store bought plastics, and was wanting to recycle them into something I'd have confidence in. Thanks!
Hey man - about how long does the plastic stay liquid/usable after you initially heat it and put in your additives? Do you basically get one injection per heating?
it doesn't stay hot very long & the more molds you have depends on how many you can make per heating. If you have 10 molds you could knock all 10 out with one heating
While you making the soft bait can you also please make me an ear drum. My one exploded when your music started. Over all it is a great video keep up the good work.
hello, very good video but in less you just want to make your own bait as a hobby! what you just spent on supplies i could fill my boat with an oray of type/colors/scents soft bait all i would need for life . but great video for seller of the products to make soft baits and for that i give you a thumbs-up. bigdog out!
you should learn to use gelatin powder to make your lures, you know of the problem with micro plastic,s in the environment and there,s another problem if a fish take,s your bait and escapes this plastic will not breake down in it''s stomach and they die hard, not to mention it get into the food chain... here in Britain where we catch and release they lost prize fish because of fishing gear, lead weights were a problem with wild fowler and now plastic lures. Gelatin is far better anyway cheaper, easy to colour sparkle up with cake decorations you can use flavor with fish oils and the best part no micro waves EMF or toxic substances to mix
how many oz is your injector? Do you wish it was bigger? I'm looking into this whole process, and was wondering. Considering the cost of the injectors (good ones). Thanks for the help, has me really interested now. I want a horny toad mold!!
This video brought me to your channel! have me interested in making my own soft plastics! like your content, liked the video and subbed! check out mine some time when ya get the chance! tight lines!
As much as I wanted to watch this I couldn't make it past the light install. As many young people watching it is never a good idea to broadcast such disregard for safety for all to see. Never never and I repeat never pull the ground prong off a cord. It's there for a reason
I never see masks in the american videos. Are you not scared for the gas that comes out of the melted stuff? Here in germany everyone wears a mask while making softbaits.

Great video man! Thinking about getting some of these so I can melt down my old baits that are torn up to make new ones out of it
This video helped me a lot! I'm from east Texas and live in Frankston so your vids help me when it comes to bait selection.
Davis Dunklin glad im helping
Davis Dunklin I'm in Tyler how's the bait making going
Chasin' Bass Do you sell your baits??
I’m so happy you told me about not throwing baits in the water. I didn’t know it was bad for the environment I figured they had to biodegradable in the first place. I will never do that again. Awesome I really appreciate you for that
Wicked video buddy! Very easy to follow along.
Why does everyone make the music between tasks 20 times louder than the regular audio?
Because they are inexperienced at editing.
Why can’t they just record actions with explanatory actions? Music crapmis big trurn off, give it a miss please.!
I also get my supplies from DoIt Molds. They have some nice stuff when it comes to the Plastics, But as for Injectors and other molds, there are a lot of good options out there. Great Video!
I'm sold I'm definitely gonna get into pouring my own baits
Ur channel is awesome U deserve way more subs
Loved it great vids man loved it!
thanks for the video Man it helped me out a lot I've been fishing ever since I could hold a fishing pole and I've always wanted to make my own bate thanks for the help and what is the biggest large mouth bass you have ever caught
Great video but i have a quick question. Is the material of the mold you were using. Was it the engineered stone or the metal ones?
Where did u get the mold from? Most molds out there that are aluminum just don't cut it. But I like the Flapper. Any help would be awesome
It is a good idea to add new Plastisol when using old baits it helps with the blending.
Fantastic video bro, so satisfyig to watch
Love melting down my old baits as well
I use Upper Hand Scents in my baits. The stuff is strong and my customers love my scented baits. I tried smelly jelly years ago... it doesn't compare! BTW, Upper Hand is also available through Do-it Molds where I get my all my supplies.

Colton Haney so don't cure in water?

what kind of camera are you using that it's mirroring on your samsung
at what temperature do you start injecting? 350 degrees? I just started remelting plastic and some of my baits are coming out with voids or big soft bubbles within the senkos...I am not sure if the issue is the integrity of the plastic or maybe my temp is off when I inject...?

great idea thanks ill try that out
Pretty slick operation you have going there, BTW!
GREAT VIDEO, keep em coming (:
Thanks Man!
Yeah of course brother 👊
I just started making senkos and I keep getting air bubbles in the worm. What might I be doing wrong. It is in the thirties here.
hey mate. pretty cool workshop you got going there.
i am sure you can 3d print your own moulds.
I just need a 3d printer
What brand is your duel injector? Could it be separated and used as a single?
3:14 lettuce
A tip is put some worm oil on the o rings of the injector so it's not as hard to push the plastic out when its dry
if you make new lures, how much fish oil and salt do you put in ?
I want to start with this hobby to! Where can I get those molds?
Drop the rdy baits in Water for cooling. Thats how they always perfect streigth. 👊

Great video very informative, are you using liquid hardener for your beaver style Baits? And if so what brand do you recommend?
My next batch I'm going to use a little hardener & I recommend Do-it
Chasin' Bass awesome, thank you so much for getting back to me I really appreciate it. Did you go to the Megabass booth at the classic and meet my brother Justin Perelli?
Your welcome & I didn't get to meet him
What's the link to the injector company that you used with the locks on it?
KEITECH!
crazy flapper
Hay chase are you going to do some of your own molds??
Thanks for your info
How long do you wait for ur baits to cool?
Do you ever trying and use the part that you took off the connecter and try to use that to fish
7:14 Korean kids preparing dinner
great video. how you liking those stone molds? I wanna order a few but I'm worried about the durability of the stone. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
Jeff Bruyere they work good and haven't broken one yet but aluminum is way better.
What material are those molds? Are they ceramic?
At 7:14 it sounded so satisfying
Cool man, would you recommend getting into this for an avid bass fisherman?
I feel like I already know the answer.. just looking for some justification
You can buy a lot of baits for what it cost to get started but if there is a few types of plastics you always use then yes.
Tip if you use a little burner or storm lighter you can easy get rid of thoose imperfections
Do you have to have those 100 dollar ingectors or could you just pour it in
Hey CB,
Are the plastics you chopped up, were they originally store bought plastics or were they originally Plastisol? I have several pounds of random, probably store bought plastics, and was wanting to recycle them into something I'd have confidence in. Thanks!
Dan Thompson they came from used baits
How much does it cost to get started doing this? Also I’m from Marshall texas lol
What's if i could show you how to make them with U.V light and with scent ?
How did baitmold do on their shipping
Hey man - about how long does the plastic stay liquid/usable after you initially heat it and put in your additives? Do you basically get one injection per heating?

While you making the soft bait can you also please make me an ear drum. My one exploded when your music started.
Over all it is a great video keep up the good work.
How come we never see you at Jacksonville anymore?
That seems more like a hobby with the amount of time it takes to produce one bait
try lightly tapping the mold after you fill it.. if you tap it lightly over and over the vibration should get those air pockets out
Thanks for telling me that not throw my baits in the water I will do this for now on
automatic sub we have the same name
Id fish the hell out of that creature bait u made..they look good..wanna send me a few?? Those looked awesome
what type of clamps are those??
how did you make your molds??
How much for some swim baits buddy need some yellow orange green and white swim baits
Do more of these
Were do you get the molds
Are injection molds easy
Would I be able to make a mold for a bait? If so what material, would wood be fine?
watch The Hand Made Fisherman
what size bait is that
😎
just starting out, what's a good route? cheap
Check out doitmolds.com and open pour molds are going to be you best bet
If you put the plastics in cold water after molding it sets the plastic
hello, very good video but in less you just want to make your own bait as a hobby! what you just spent on supplies i could fill my boat with an oray of type/colors/scents soft bait all i would need for life . but great video for seller of the products to make soft baits and for that i give you a thumbs-up. bigdog out!
I put all of my used plastics in a bag and my friend uses them to make his own baits and lets me try them out in return.
now I know what to do with my soft plastics after i mess them up a bit
Looks like that dude from SNL.
Wouldn't so.egging like a small crockpot work better than those measuring cups and a microwave? Never done this stuff so is a legitimate question.
did u not freeze the lures. I watched some videos and they froze them
Braxton Richardson you dont have to a few mintues of air cooling and they are done
Use the power setting on your microwave you can put them in for longer without burning
Ive caught a 10 out of tyler state park 2 years ago
you should learn to use gelatin powder to make your lures, you know of the problem with micro plastic,s in the environment and there,s another problem if a fish take,s your bait and escapes this plastic will not breake down in it''s stomach and they die hard, not to mention it get into the food chain... here in Britain where we catch and release they lost prize fish because of fishing gear, lead weights were a problem with wild fowler and now plastic lures. Mmm now that's a good idea
Think I'll stick to the clearance section at walmart. I got Senkos for a 1.00
Yums I'm guessing? Homemade are far better
Hi
how many oz is your injector? Do you wish it was bigger? I'm looking into this whole process, and was wondering. Considering the cost of the injectors (good ones). Thanks for the help, has me really interested now. I want a horny toad mold!!
It might help if you heated it up maybe 10-15 seconds more in microwave
Put the baits in water after molding
Fishing_Wisconsin why
This video brought me to your channel! have me interested in making my own soft plastics! like your content, liked the video and subbed! check out mine some time when ya get the chance! tight lines!
7:12 he is watching while he is filming
wouldn't putting the fresh bait in water to cool keep it from deforming
Michael barnes ????
Chasin' Bass after the molding instead of laying them on and flat surface.
Michael barnes got it thanks
Michael barnes check my chanel for epic streamfishing like u have never seen b4
Please
Love this video! Im thinking of making my own lures. If you want to check out my channel that would be cool!
Face mask dude
As much as I wanted to watch this I couldn't make it past the light install. As many young people watching it is never a good idea to broadcast such disregard for safety for all to see. Never never and I repeat never pull the ground prong off a cord. It's there for a reason
Like your vids. not so much the "music"
So to make baits... Start with baits and cut them up? Pffft
Kevin Stumpadelic you don’t have to use old baits you can use plastisol to make baits
WHATS GOING ON CZcams ?????
HOW FUCKED UP LAME IS THAT
I never see masks in the american videos. Are you not scared for the gas that comes out of the melted stuff? Here in germany everyone wears a mask while making softbaits.
Everything but the dam music, dude smart people don't need music
