HOMETIME #36 Nadia & Mark Discuss KIDS Growing Up, DIVORCE LAW, The TOP Sitcoms & DOOR PAINT

  • Mark feels a bit weird about his youngest daughter no longer being THAT dependent on him. They both chat about the fact that the blame game is being removed from Divorce Law ... they run through the top 10 British Sit Coms (according to a weird bunch of comedy experts) ... and Mark has a very rude colour of door paint that he wants to share with the world!!

    You could have a cut-flower bed in the area you are clearing for the kitchen garden, the flowers would help attract bee's etc - Zinnia's are easy to grow from seed and are great for the house and you could have a border of David Austen roses which I'm sure Nadia would love. Mark ,your speech at the start choked me up.It`s not often we hear men talk about what they`ll miss ,as their children grow up.Can i just say though ,as a female (with all girls) ,who lost a husband very young ,followed closely by my own dad ,that you will ALWAYS have a very special bond with your girls ,and they will always need you.From my perspective i still miss my dad (and talk to him) every day.I miss the way he`d hold my hand ,the talks we had.The way he always knew what to say ,and the advice and wisdom he`d give.From my daughters point of view ,they`ll miss their dad teasing them about boys ,sussing out prospective husbands ,and walking them down the aisle.Your daughters will need you all their lives ,it maybe a little different but the place you hold in their hearts ,will never ever change.Xxx

    It's probably the vinegar in the ketchup that neutralises the smell. Vinegar also kills bacteria and mold, so it's good for washing lettuce, strawberries etc.

      @sawalhaadderleys  Před 5 lety +2

      Rapunzel Mane maybe I should just use vinegar x

    • @rapunzelmane9592
      @rapunzelmane9592 Před 5 lety

      @@sawalhaadderleys + Yes, apparently white vinegar is the one to use. It must be a complete nightmare for you. As a crazed germaphobe myself, I really don't know how I'd cope with it.
      The advise seems to be that you use a degreasing shampoo first, using a brush to work it in, and leave it on for ten minutes. After rinsing thoroughly, add half-a-cup of vinegar to a two-litre bottle of water, leave on for a while, then rinse off. If you splash it in her eyes you will need to rinse it out quickly, as it's an acid.
      I just Googled it and Good Housekeeping recommends (for a dog that's been skunked) mixing baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and unscented washing up liquid in a metal bowl (don't know why it has to be metal) and apply that after shampooing, then leave it on and rinse thoroughly. Again, you have to avoid the eyes. Good luck!
