HOMETIME #36 Nadia & Mark Discuss KIDS Growing Up, DIVORCE LAW, The TOP Sitcoms & DOOR PAINT
Vložit
- čas přidán 8. 04. 2019
- Mark feels a bit weird about his youngest daughter no longer being THAT dependent on him. They both chat about the fact that the blame game is being removed from Divorce Law ... they run through the top 10 British Sit Coms (according to a weird bunch of comedy experts) ... and Mark has a very rude colour of door paint that he wants to share with the world!!

What an absolutely lovely father you are x
MAARK! Your girls will always want you, but not always need you, the only man you can depend on is your daddy 👏🏻👏🏻💃🏽
So happy to hear you had a camera free day. You are a wonderful, communicative father Mark. Don't change. 😊
The Good Life! Gosh, that was great. As Time Goes By was a nice gentle watch. I think I'll need to seek them both out somewhere and watch them. Keep well! X
Aww Nadia please don't be angry at Mark for being suggestive you are lucky he fancies you so much if he didn't do it you would miss it xx Men behaving badly and Butterflies 😁
Please wash Chi Chi it's stressing me🤪
Hi it’s louise... just wanted to say hello and to thank you both for all your hard work putting out these vlogs..also a huge thank you for being so inspirational... Loads of love and hugs from louise.. Xxx Xxx
Nadia you are so lucky, no one ever makes me a cup of tea it seems like a small thing but it's 3 yrs since my mum passed and she was the last to make me a brew 🤔
Stephanie Wheeler awww sending you hugs x
Ahh thats sad
When Mark picked up that plank I said out loud Oh Maarkkk!! Love your vlogs xx
My fave sitcoms are vicar of dibley, absolutely fabulous, trollied, and gimme gimme gimme.
Ooh two pints of lager was brilliant.
@@lior.vibefeeler9500 I loved that show it was great i watched it all the time when it was on BBC 3 channel
I loved the good life.,..& only fools & horses.....my childhood ..reminds me of my mum & dad..... I sadly lost my dad recently..,miss you dad........💔
I love watching your vlogs guys. You really brighten up my day. Even when times are hard it shows how we are all affected in different ways and we are all human at the end of the day. You are so relatable. I have laughed and cried watching you and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you xx
My favourite sitcom is Steptoe and Son, just the ultimate one for me.
I loved 'Watching' with Emma Wray, Paul Bown, Liza Tarbuck.
Oh💕 Mark so glad you had a good day. 🤣 l thought Nadia was gonna get plonk by the plank 🙈 never mind the drome. Your so funny. You and Nadia should be in a sitcom. 😍 what about only fools and horses? Also Steptoe and son 🤣 Red drawf and The empire. Xxx ps maybe the door can be pink to match the cushions. 😂💕
Mark, Your girls are so very blessed to be your daughters. They are growing and blossoming because of the love and support you have always given and they will take these gifts to their grave. Wishing you love and strength for the weekend by the way. I was so moved by your sharing yesterday. Warm wishes to you all x
You could have a cut-flower bed in the area you are clearing for the kitchen garden, the flowers would help attract bee's etc - Zinnia's are easy to grow from seed and are great for the house and you could have a border of David Austen roses which I'm sure Nadia would love. Great vlog (as always) x
Jan Francis was in ‘Just Good Friends’, Butterflies I loved and ‘The Good Life’.
THE ROYLE FAMILY 🙌🏻Caroline Aherne was such a bloody genius 💔
I love Marks innuendos....and then Nadias:"Maaaark" after !!!😂😂😂love you two!!!💙
Peter Kay's Car Share, dinnerladies, Gavin & Stacey, Watching , The Good Life - i can watch again and again and still laugh!
Nadia cheered me up with your singing! Loved that mark was talking to camera and in the background you are singing. Made me smile. Love it. ... sit coms, I didn't know a single one you said- maybe my age! Don't think we have any that compares now though!? X
Mark & Nadia
Thankyou for being YOU
Love from South Wales
You’ve made me fancy a cup of tea mid vlog, so I’ve got up to make one! I’m gonna wind back 😂
Lior _ Vibefeeler ha ha ha
This is the first channel on CZcams that I follow, that I can relate to . When you talked about being a dad it touched my heart. 🕊️🌷🌹
Jennifer Negron ahh thank you Jennifer x
@@sawalhaadderleys x🕊️🤗
Mark ,your speech at the start choked me up.It`s not often we hear men talk about what they`ll miss ,as their children grow up.Can i just say though ,as a female (with all girls) ,who lost a husband very young ,followed closely by my own dad ,that you will ALWAYS have a very special bond with your girls ,and they will always need you. From my perspective i still miss my dad (and talk to him) every day.I miss the way he`d hold my hand ,the talks we had.The way he always knew what to say ,and the advice and wisdom he`d give. From my daughters point of view ,they`ll miss their dad teasing them about boys ,sussing out prospective husbands ,and walking them down the aisle.Your daughters will need you all their lives ,it maybe a little different but the place you hold in their hearts ,will never ever change.Xxx
A Navy door. Great vlog guys ❤️ my number 1 comedy is Absolutely fabulous I watch an episode everyday ❤️
Jadie Hollings I was thinking about navy !!
Just caught a glimpse when you were showing the drone! It looked like a huge laptop! Very modern! Wondering what that was? :)
I loved, and still do, One Foot in the Grave........ “ I don’t BELIEVE it!!!!l 😂😂😂
I live in America. Loved Vicar of Dibley
The one with Judy Dench was called. as time goes by. X
On the Buses lol love thy neighbour , man about the house , george & Mildred ... all remind me of my childhood .......bouquets of barbed wire now that was very riskayyyy !!! X
They are called Munro's Mark, Scottish Mountains they are over 3000ft high. Absolutely love your singing Nadia, cheers me up no end. I loved Nearest And Dearest, Hilda Baker was so hilarious, also loved Open All Hours, Keeping Up Apperances and One Foot in the Grave. Thank you for another great Hometime Vlog ❤❤ xx
I liked The Good Life! I also liked Solo and I loved Just Good Friends too! and Butterflies! Ha ha Bringing back some lovely memories!
It's probably the vinegar in the ketchup that neutralises the smell. Vinegar also kills bacteria and mold, so it's good for washing lettuce, strawberries etc.
Rapunzel Mane maybe I should just use vinegar x
@@sawalhaadderleys + Yes, apparently white vinegar is the one to use. It must be a complete nightmare for you. As a crazed germaphobe myself, I really don't know how I'd cope with it.
The advise seems to be that you use a degreasing shampoo first, using a brush to work it in, and leave it on for ten minutes. After rinsing thoroughly, add half-a-cup of vinegar to a two-litre bottle of water, leave on for a while, then rinse off. If you splash it in her eyes you will need to rinse it out quickly, as it's an acid.
I just Googled it and Good Housekeeping recommends (for a dog that's been skunked) mixing baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and unscented washing up liquid in a metal bowl (don't know why it has to be metal) and apply that after shampooing, then leave it on and rinse thoroughly. Again, you have to avoid the eyes. Good luck!
I'm dying to go to Italy. Just to explore in the beautiful sunshine. Bliss!
Treasure your times with your girls 💗💗 my three daughters are now all in their 20’s and I miss having a little girl so much 💗💗💗
George and Mildred - some mother’s do have em - keeping up appearances - so many great British sitcoms 👏👏👏
I have elephants breath in my hallway! 😂😂
Comedies! My favourite genre of TV. In no particular order: The Vicar Of Dibley, Dinnerladies, Ab Fab, Birds Of A Feather, To The Manor Born, Open All Hours, Liverbirds. All the ones which spring to my mind right now (there’s SO many more)! I would love to see Mark & Nadia rank and review their favourite comedies. If you’ve not already done so already. ✨
My kids are 29 and 21. Sometimes I feel a longing for the children they were. They are wonderful young people and I'm so proud of them and proud of the people they've become. But, God, I'd love to spend one more day with the little children they were! Does anyone else ever feel like that?
Love Martin Parr. Got lots of inspiration from his work whilst being at art college. Xx
last of the summer wine, open all hours, vicar of dibley, allo allo all really good ones!
Chi chi has turn into tomato sauce dog and mark and Nadia is phenomenal educational amazing couple and Di is fantastic lady indeed and Kiki and maddie are amazing kids ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😀👍👍👍👍👍👸👍👍🤩👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸👸🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴
One foot in the Grave.
Loving your vlogs x
Ooow! The spaghetti Nadia looks amazing and delicious! Will have to make some for this evening! :)
Are you being served? Classic
Mountains in Scotland are Munroes ... probably spelt wrong. Mark you make me laugh !!😂😂
Despite me being 37. I love the old sitcoms like, George and Mildred, man about the house, on the buses, Bless this house and nearest and dearest. X
I remember Boon!
Aloe Aloe was fun too.
Nadia, you are sooo funny! Xx
Keeping up appearances! Love that so funny, and love Warren now with Martin Clunes in so funny and reminds me of old sitcoms.
keeping up appearences that was good
Ooh I will have to try cabbage instead of basketti one day! How do you cook the cabbage??? Meaning I know how to boil cabbage but what’s you tips and tricks?
I get it when he empties the bins ‘for me’
Fab, I’m just off to my pit and now have some entertainment too 😉 x
Young dad ❤️daughters day 💕empty nest syndrome 🙃waiting grandkids next 💕happy easter 🐣mark your best dad 😍
A nice black front door with silver door furniture x
Yellow door, or navy (if not red). Love when marks flirts with you; he adores you so.
Yellow or navy are very 1930s. Good call.
Mark the mountains in Scotland you were talking about are called Munroes. What about navy blue for charcoal grey for your front door.
Denise Lamb ahhh thank you ! The Munro’s !
I recommend Barcelona if you want a holiday with a pool/beach aspect and also somewhere with lots of touristy things x
Hi Nadia and Mark, Duck egg blue or a chartwell green would be a nice colour for the front door's.
I work in a school that was built in the 1930's and there is nothing better than restoring and polishing the original parquet flooring. Comes up a treat.
Ben .M will take a look at chattwell green !
Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em - just loved watching that.
Penny was Jan Francis. The Judy Dench show was As Time Goes By. I’m a Bread girl. “I wanna be a model” lol. Excellent show. Could watch that, or Porridge, Open All Hours, Young Ones and Blackadder, Red Dwarf, etc, all day marathon. Remember them? 😂
Father Ted and Keeping Up Appearances I love
Loved Butterflies and Just Good Friends!! I sadly made my girls watch loads of old sitcoms over the years including Robins Nest and Man About the House, I bought DVDs so that we could watch things together safely when they were younger!! They especially loved The Good life and we also binge watched The Darling Buds of May!!! Before ‘Inbetweeners’ (which was hilarious) took over 😱
Mark your getting early empty nest syndrome lol my youngest daughter has been in New Zealand for 4 years and we beyond miss her, albeit she is having a ball so as parents that really helps. As my dear mother in law used to say, our children are only borrowed to us, treasure every moment with them and it’s wonderful how you both are with the girls. Nadia get that holiday booked, a nice villa would be private, we all need a good dose of natural vitamin D so as Freddie used to say ...book it lol! Greece is beautiful 👍👍💕
Uyou two are great, so down to earth,, my husband is watching you now and he thinks your both great X
Just good friends...only fools and horses I love and open all hours
Remember only when i laugh ?
Haha Nadia give it some songs
"I wanted to sling a cup of tea in your face" 😂😂😂
I need a cuppa now! My other half will happily make food or go out to get something. When I ask for tea then its like ive asked him to build a palace out of chocolate! But bless him...he is a good egg...he will do it! Lol
I have looked at front door colours for you!
Sage greys and blues seem to be popular in the 1930s xx
Fawlty Towers would have been my number 1. Jan Francis played Penny in Just good friends ,loved that too.If we cross the pond ,i`d have to opt for Cheers (which ,along with Butterflies is still re running today:).Great vlog again guys.xx
We have also kept our 1930's original front door as we think at least we have kept some of the spirit and atmosphere of our home (only two owners including us) and it's light grey xx
Munroes is the mountains your thinking of here in Scotland. Are you not supposed to be visiting the Isle of Skye this year?
Hi Nadia and Mark, regarding your holiday chat, there are so many beautiful little Greek islands that very few British people have discovered, so without offending you Nadia, I don't think you would be recognised so you could relax in peace! XX
my husband making me cups of tea is one of the biggest things I cherish.
You need to take the girls on a trip to Disney World!!! You all would love Epcot! We teach drone license classes at the college where I work... SO expensive, but lots of people sign up! I never heard of any of those shows you mentioned except Ab Fab of course. What about Benny Hill? That was shown here when I was a kid... I remember it being super naughty! x
Awww Gigi is so placid she is lovely
'Are you being served'. Great you had great day with kiki ❤ ye'll have to wrap chi chi is cling film before walk 😁😁
Definitely green, like a racing green. Green is a healing colour and will look lovely
Definitely book a villa, I wouldn’t do it any other way now! You can’t beat getting up and opening a door to your own pool! Maaaagggiicc. 👏👍😎🌞
Dinner Ladies was hilarious.
Dinnerladies is the best. I've watched it so many times. Watched it first when my 19 year old was a baby. Now she adores it too :)
I love watching Nadia cooking makes me so hungry
Guys, do the 36 relationship questionnaire! My husband and I just did it, and it sparked some great conversation. We didn't even fight through it!
Heidi Hinter ohhh what’s that ??
www.nytimes.com/2015/01/11/fashion/no-37-big-wedding-or-small.html
Do it when you two go on your trip!
To The Manor Born, Home To Roost and Faith In The Future. It Ain't 'Alf Hot Mum, Frank Spencer, stupidly funny xx
joanna yeo bloody loved Home to Roost
@@halfbaker1402 Me too, I've had 5 teenagers/young adults and find it's so relatable.
The range of hills are called the Monroe’s
Love the training shoes, Nads!
Keeping up appearances /one foot in the grave /last of the summer wine loads of great ones
My family was an absolute classic x
My favourites were on the buses, George and Mildred, watching, keeping up appearances, to the manor of born, fresh fields,
Been on a few sleeper trains in Japan. The most expensive one, I never slept a wink! The cheapest one, on top bunk...slept like a log! :D
Royal Blue or deep purple for front door.Love Kikis sense of style - she’s quite the little fashionista🥰🥰🤗🤗
Lovely having real quality time with your Kiki, so considerate of her not to want you to feel offended if she went out. I love a prayer walk. On a beautiful day it is very spiritual. I couldn’t do that Nadia. You must love your dog a lot. It would make me heave. Paint the door Scarlet red. Shiny and bright. Black would be nice against the white. With new gold ironmongery. 🧡
Jeanette Scott mmm black that a good idea ! X
Please show us the collage of fotos you made for Nadia
One foot in the grave and steptoe and son were my faves!!
I can’t wait to see what happens with chi chi . Lol ❤️
The good life...Always😊 ........Great spaghetti draining 😂
What about Spitting Image? I used to love that.
A couple of hours without the kids... Quick, get them tassels out. Lol
Really enjoyed this vlog family and marks laugh sounds just like the joker movie star joquain phoenix
'till Death Us Do Part. Imagine that being on today! The PC bigrade would be outraged! So many great british sit-coms.
