Every single one of Robert Eggars movies brought tears to my eyes I loved them so much when I first saw them. Idk what it is about this man but his movies just affect me in a way no other filmmaker does. I was crying at the end of The Northman I liked it so much. So to say I’m excited for this is an understatement! I think some artist just speak to you in your soul and Robert’s art does for me. (A part of it could be is that I love history a lot and I love reading about old times and cultures so I probably feel the history nerd energy and that’s what I love. 😂)

Keep speaking out Nadia - I know the helplessness feels fierce but silence isn’t a choice we can afford to make - not only is this genocide creating unspeakable inter generational trauma but it will trigger socio-political power shifts in the wrong direction globally - people think this won’t hit home - it will through the tolerance for brutality and what that means for humanity 💔 I never thought we could stand by and watch war crime before our eyes but here we are - I think the powers that be are relying on people becoming immune to it as a defence against the horrors - we need to keep applying political pressure through protests - be as loud as we can - it’s only when the powerful risk losing power that the western world wakes up and acts sadly 💔
