lolll Sometimes I feel like I set my collecting expectations way too high 😅 But I have lots of help from friends (incl YOU!) and card stores looking out for the cards I need which helps a ton lol

I (mostly) did!!! If you're interested the full video is called "DID I REACH MY 2023 POKEMON COLLECTING GOALS???" It was a rough and fairly expensive journey lol but I feel like I progressed the collection a lot.
I'm trying to finish the whole Skyridge set 😅😅😅 excluding the Tops.

Think I need to set goals I try to complete master sets then a new set comes out snd I spend all my money opening that 😅
omg I feel this LOL At one point I had like 6 master sets going and they were all going SO SLOWLY so I had to focus down and tackle one at a time 🤪
Complete a totL of 8 master sets for base set Pokémon.
That 151 master set is gonna get expensive with those master balls
It's going to be ridiculous 😭 I actually did a video where I priced out the entire set and it got close to 10k rip
My goal is to find someone to buy my entire collection for 70k without having to piece it out. I can dream.
Oh WOW!! That sounds like an awesome collection haha. If I everrr were to sell my collection, I'd want to do it all in one go too. Breaking it up would be so time consuming lmao
What condition of cards are these on average? Do you try to get NM or since they are binder cards do you have a lot of lower quality ones? I'd love to get all these but the cost in NM is just crazy...wondering how you navigate that?
That's a really good question!! And it definitely depends if I'm going vintage or modern. For the 1st ed jungle & fossil for example, I'll try and get NM for all the commons and uncommons because they're only like $1-$2 CAD ea, even at NM. But for the holos, I'll aim for LP or MP because they're way more expensive :S Because these are binder cards though, it's really important to me that the faces of the cards don't have any damage. So If I'm looking at a MP holo, I don't want to buy it if there are any creases or scratches visible on the front. As long as the MP damage is contained to the back, it'll look great in the binder and I'm content LOL
On AVERAGE I'd say all these cards are LP. But a lot of them definitely have damage here and there. The r holo moltres from legendary for example, it's got some moderate whitening on the back but it looks amazing in the binder. BUT I got it for like $150 cheaper because it's considered MP.

the vintage stuff I sadly did not pull 😭 I've just been collecting them as singles. I pulled a lot of the 151 stuff though!!

no I'm not! I ALMOST decided to collect it in english instead of Japanese but the pokeball/masterball R holos are too cool 😉

@@PokeMarina sure I can always rebuild them plus I may even have extras of most them anyway I also have a first edition Eevee error card with a d on it instead of the number 1 for the symbol I'm trying to sell but one sold last year on ebay for a $3,000 because there is only 5 known to exist so I won't be mad if I don't sell it

Right now completing the fates shiny collection, I have shining fates done, working on Paldean fates and hidden fates I just need the charizard and umbreon 🥹🥲 the most expensive cards in the set
Oh that's awesome! Hidden fates is one of my favourite sets of all time. 2 cards away is so close, you can do it!!!! 🔥🔥
