I think a big secret that people overlook is 4 pocket binders. Having 4 slots per page is kind of perfect for Pokémon cards because of things like V-Union's which look incredible in those binders. My 2 actual collection not for trade binders are 4 pocket binders and I can do some really fun stuff organizing them. Tag Team cards work beautifully in these binders too; I do 2 of each Pokémon in the Tag Team, the actual Tag Team card, and then a relevant Trainer card and always get compliments on those pages.
I’ve never used a 4 pocket binder, but that makes total sense with v-unions! I’m definitely going to have to give this a try!
At the same time, 3x3 binders are nice if you collect specific Pokemon in all variants.
In most cases, you have a regular card and a reverse, and only 1 Japanese version.
I always keep the good cards in the back. You gotta build up the hype! Especially if you're showing off your collection, no ones gonna appreciate the holos if they just saw multiple pages of hyper rares
Very true!
The Pokémon go set it really fun to collect, I’m actually almost finished, then I’m gonna go for a master set, I only am missing the spark rainbow trainer and Blanche rainbow Trainer😊
Good video my guy. You're getting a sub, keep it going 👏🏼
It is a really nice binder and good quality and the best part is it has different colors and good price
Great video Hunter. I've been collecting since 2015 and have finally become able to have those super fancy binders you mention at the start of the video. Thing is, they're a waste of money! Stay with the binders you showed at the start. There is virtually no difference in safety/aesthetics as long as they are both chilling on a shelf with an occasional opening. Liked, Commented and Subbed. Looking forward to joining you on the journey!
You’re awesome!!!
I know it’s late but thanks this was quite helpful
I see you got mewtwos pokemon card but I got 5 mewtwos so I love your video ❤
this video really helped me out organizing my binder!
I’m so glad!
i was going to say I have thought about putting cards in sleeves and grouping them in sets of evolutions with the 2nd or third evolution at the front showing off. 9 pockets on each page could mean 9 slots used for a good amount of pokemon cards. should be a nice way to group up and save a lot of spaces in the binder especially if you don't have a big binder immediately.
Facts bro!
Nice video and like your Master set explanation. Just watched a video last night for master set where all normal cards to trainer to secrets are in number order. Then all the secondary/RH/specials are placed in number order afterward. The stickies on the empties for missing cards is a great idea. Just finished ordering singles to complete SV base (just started collecting). Moving over to 151, but having horrible luck getting good cards for that one. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for your comment bro! I’ve had trouble on the Base set for SV as well! Good luck my guy!
I have a zip binder for things like holos and upwards in terms of rarity. Cards lower down I use the non zip vault x and just put them by type. Any card that's £15 upwards I'll put in a toploadrer and store in an elite trainer box.
bro thank you so much for the video!!!! ive been looking for a break down, anyone show me where to go on a order from first to last that the cards show go in or is that at your choice which card goes before the next?
I personally love keeping my cards in set order. I'm a numbers girl so when they're not in order I get so confused and end up missing cards.
Go was my first master set and it's so easy. The pulls are good and singles aren't crazy expensive. I recommend getting the large tins as I got amazing pulls!
That’s awesome! I Hope to master set Pokémon go soon:))
Super nice content bro, you need to keep em coming 👀👀
Thanks man!! I appreciate it dude!:)
Ty so much
4th option, If you collect specific Pokemon, organize the cards from oldest to newest.
That's what I'm planning on doing with my Sneasel masterset and with my Weavile and Sneasler set once I complete those 2 as well.
That’s awesome!!
@@RetroHunty Update, completed the Sneasel set (not counting the newest set)
I like organizing mune by cards type so ill have all the holos, reverses, non holos, and Ex, ect then organizing them by pokemon
Awesome video mate :)
Hey thanks bro! Keep making awesome content too!!:)
Awesome video my dude 👍
Thanks my guy! I appreciate you always being so supportive! Means a lot dude!!
I do master sets but only of the vintage sets. I have most of the vintage sets complete in unlimited edition and one complete 1st edition set. Slowly knocking them not in a hurry. Newer sets are absurdly big with the reverse holos of each card and all the alt arts, ultra rares and secret rares.
Very cool bro!
I think I commented this but also we can organize it by type. For example grass type goes first then fire then water and all the other types.
Just finished my first master set of Paldea Evolved. Big boy
I use top loaders for my really good cards like my machamp v alt art from astral radiance, mewtwo vstar golden, mewtwo vstar rainbow and so on so on so on, so I think it would be a good idea to purchase a top loader binder, any recommendations for those???😅😊
very good ideas. I just bought some pokemon 151 cards but have absolutely no clue how to organize everything, besides going from 1 to 151...
Im thinking do it by set but have first 2 pages (9/18 slots) for the super nice full arts and such, then just by set order
I got two giant binders. One for normal holo and reverse cards and one for full arts and SARs.
That's honestly pretty smart!
how did you hang the mini tins on the wall in the back? Its look really nice!
I just used some tacky clay and it seems to be working great!!
I also love putting my nice cards up front
Sweet dude! I feel like they look so rad that way!
great video keep it up
Thank you for the support!
I sort mine by type rainbow, fighting, water, etc.
How about to organize them by the setnumber? This way you always keep track of which cards are still missing
Yes! I believe that what the ETB booklets go by! That method is smart so you for sure know what you’re missing in the set! Thanks for your input:)
I had a question, when you sort by sets, where do promos go? I’m guessing they’re not really replacements for the actual card
I put the promos next to either the same Pokémon in the set or I put them in the back of the set alphabetically! Great question!:)
@@RetroHunty oooh ok! Thanks!
What sleeves do you use for your cards before putting them into the binder?
I personally use Vault X perfect fit. A lot of people use dragon shield but there’ve been quite a few case of the sleeve being a little too small and bending a card of mine
I just use the ones I get in ETBs. I should probably start using it penny sleeves though! What do you use?
There is alot of ways of organizing a binder....the easiest way for me is to make sure the binders sleeves can be taken out easily....
Great note!
How does everyone store all their energy cards? There’s one in every pack so the accumulation is insane
I keep all of mine in my empty ETBs!
bro, you gotta handle cards with care, especially if u didn't double sleeve them. ALL my cards are sleeved with KMC perfect fit from the top and dragon shield on the outside from the bottom, so both sides are well protected. have fun!
Thanks for the advice dude! I’ll keep that in mind! Happy card collecting bro!
Meanwhile I have my cards sorted by Pokédex number and date of release, haha..
Does anyone know how to prevent pokemon card from sliding out from a binder? mine always does and i dont know what to do
Do you have a top loading pages or side loading?
I have side loading, I also tried double sleeve but it doesnt work. I don't know what alternative to do@@RetroHunty
Side Loading, I already did double sleeving my card yet the card still sliding out@@RetroHunty
I only do Master Sets
also since iI restarted with DSWSH I only use the official binders for them (even if they suck)
That’s awesome!! Have you completed any?
Sub🎉
Cen hav
Guess what? I dont like any of the ways to organise the binder...I would recommend Putting each card by type for example First put Water type cards then Fire type, U know what I mean...🥰🥰
That is quite rude to people who show how you can set your binder
