Dang, those are some fire cards! I don't have anything that significant in my collection but I still like what I have.
I've been around your channel pretty much ever since you first popped up on Rattle's vids and streams. Some time has passed since then and you're obviously in this for the long term and serious about the hobby. I know you worked hard to get your collection to where it is today and I think it's cool you're open enough to share some of that with us here. They were pretty close 😮 ES moonbreon has gone up a lot, and EH moonbreon has actually come down a little. The market value on those cards is a rollercoaster 😝

My goal is to have my collection be self funding like you. I’m holding sealed booster boxes and will eventually trade them in for grail cards I want. With SWSH on the rise, esp Evo skies, it’s getting closer to reality. My top cards I want are the Mario and Luigi pikachu and poncho pikachu cards.
OMG those are some of my grails too. It's so hard to find the poncho cards and Mario/Luigi cards ungraded 😅 And I don't think I'll be able to afford buying them graded for a loooong time. But you're right the ES booster boxes have skyrocketed... selling one or two of them off in a year or two will provide some serious funding to your pickups! I wish I had kept some of mine sealed but I couldn't help myself LOL 💀
If you’re gonna collect wotc black star set, collect psa9 because it’s near impossible to complete full psa10 with venusaur

@@PokeMarina psa 10 without venusaur would run you around 10-15k. A full psa9 would probably be around 5k

Hey!! I mean for me I'd say it's usually one in every 25-35 packs. So getting 2 alts out of 15 is pretty good luck loll Depends what set you open though, some are easier on you than others 😝

Why don’t you grade Charizard and Mimikyu for value and encapsulation purposes?
I've been considering this for a while!! Mostly because I don't want to send them out in the mail to the states, and I'd want to grade them with BGS. I know you can get insurance and stuff but I've heard some sad stories and I wouldn't want to lose these. If I ever take a trip down south I'll bring the cards with me and drop them off in person lol

I'm not sure yet!! I feel like it'd be a smart thing to do but then it wouldn't fit in my toploader binder anymore and I'd always have that one card missing 😝
My most expensive card is only a PSA 10 Moonbreon. When it comes down to buying high value cards or bicycles, i always end up buying the bikes!
Oh dang that's pretty good though!! Absolutely love Moonbreon 😍 And that's definitely fair, I don't have any other big hobbies so all I do is basically spend money on rent and pokemon cards lmao
