This is absolutely the best review that I’ve seen on this model. I love everything about this generator, but one thing. I believe it’s a big thing though, but that’s for the consumers to decide.
You CANNOT purchase spare parts for this model!
Don’t take my word for it though, contact the manufacturer yourself to verify before investing $1,499.
What about the 3 year warranty you may ask… I’ve been waiting for a Duromax to send out a new or used fuel selector knob that somehow rattled off while being towed around during transport. It’s been approximately 5 months and only hear from Duromax when I write a negative comment on their website. They’re quick to call about asking to rewrite negative comments, but not so quick in finding a simple knob that can probably be salvaged out of a spare stove knob or one that was made for a more liable manufacturer.
Great review on what seems to be a fantastic generator, but now that I’ve mentioned this, there’s always going to be that what if I need a replacement part question, so you decide.

The "legal" systems for power is not back-feeding....rather they are an alternative power inlet source. Back-feeding is like feeding power into a dryer outlet.

Are you able to connect the 30 amp receptacle to your transfer switch without problems even though it is bonded to frame? Or is only the 20 amp receptacle have the neutral bonded to frame?

I was a able to make a adapter where I converted it from a 30amp 3 prong to a 4 prong 240v with one hot since it's a 120v. If I didn't make the adapter cord I would be forced to use this on one phase of my breaker panel only. Keep in mind I have a 240v 4 prong interlock kit which is much more simple than a transfer switch. With this setup it doesn't give me any problems "as long as I dont run any 240v brakers". I hope this answers your question.

@@CrazyRick250 You can get an adapter cord that will split the 120v output into two feeds that will thus attached to a 240v cord. That way both legs of the panel get feed 120 and all 120 circuits in the house function.
