I was going to turn this off about three times. I was like, “wth?” But if there’s one thing I’ve learned over my many years listening to horror podcatsts, It’s this. You have to give things a chance to grow on you. A couple of (detective) sheriffs driving around with a head cheese pizza might be a learning experience.
I went back and listened to this again. So good. I hope there’s more to come in this series.

When the shooting started I honestly thought there was a chicken running and yelling "Oh cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck!" I had to listen again to learn it was Deputy Detective Dingle running and screaming. But for some reason, in a funny way, Dingle as a chicken sounds kinda right for that fleeting moment.
