      💯 I wish the best for her. I'm not an instructor but I also struggle with anxiety and often times when people meet me for the first time, they assume I am not proficient or confident in my abilities but that isn't the case,

      The fact she passed her part 3 says everything about her ability to instruct, adapt the lesson to suit the pupils needs based on their experience and current level. I've been qualified for 2 years and the job is so rewarding

    We don’t know each other Bin, but I just wanted to say a big thank you for these videos. I passed in Germany 24 years ago and have been living in the UK for a few years now.. I always said I would never drive in the UK, it’s to dangerous and my anxiety wouldn’t let me drive anyway. Well thanks to you and your course and videos plus 4hrs of refresher with a driving instructor, I can say there’s no place I wouldn’t drive to :) Thank you for your help 😊

    I past my driving test a day ago and I look at your videos for more help but this teaching another instructor is really great. I think a lot of instructors here in Scotland they need some extra lessons.

    We all learn from our mistakes, whether we are the student or the teacher. Kudos for her coming on. When I started learning, my instructor had difficulty getting through to me, as I was listening to a sequence of instructions and didn't really get the simultaneity of the the foot movements.

  • @marinusdekker6707
    @marinusdekker6707 Před 17 dny

    I think it is good that she does this, I am also working on becoming a driving instructor, and would also do this to see what another instructor thinks of my teaching method, just to make yourself a better instructor, and thus make it easier for a student.
    I also don't think it would be wrong if Pin lets her drive and gives the instructions, so that she also sees how he gives a lesson

    For first time on big roads I think if the instructor is confident, takes responsibility, and does it at the appropriate time (when the learner is ready) then the learner is less likely to be jittery.
    It might be down to being filmed but in the video she gave off a nervous energy, which could in turn cause a learner to be nervous because they'll think you think they aren't ready, or even just over-cautious in an attempt to please you.

  • @SophFitz20
    @SophFitz20 Před 17 dny +2

    Driving with my instructor was probably the most confident and safe I felt driving. In this video, this lady doesn’t give off that vibe but I reckon she’s just extremely nervous plus she’s next to Pin and on camera. Maybe she’s different with students. But if an instructor doesn’t have an authoritative personality in driving, a high risk job, I’d not feel safe with them. 😅

      @SophFitz20 Před 17 dny

    • @clairoswife
      @clairoswife Před 15 dny +2

      @@SophFitz20 I think its because she isn't in the position to be giving off authority, she's being taught and is the learner in this situation, she's in an area she doesn't know, is on camera and is with pin who she doesn't know, I am confident etc but I am like this when being taught as I am the learner

    • @VK-mx1ti
      @VK-mx1ti Před 17 dny

      Well I would advise not to coast when you can. During my test I was speeding cos of a bad satnav which I thought I failed but I passed because they said my general all round driving was great. You may not fail for coasting but it might change the invigilators assessment on if you pass or not

    • @hqund7816
      @hqund7816 Před 17 dny

      Coasting isn't really a problem when its needed. I'll give a bad example of coasting: You're on a motorway and you see you need to leave the motorway to get to your destination, so you put the clutch down straight away when you start braking. Coasting at speed is bad. Coasting in a car park where you need tight clutch control won't be marked

  • @ewan4212

    Surely by the time the learner goes on these roads they should understand which order the mirrors to look in. When i leearned the pattern my instructor had was top to bottom so ir was mirrors being center at the top then check to your right or left so simply mirrors and check right rarther than check your center mirror then check your right mirror. Keep it simple so key word and phrases
