    PRICE CHANGE!!! Ebike Tariffs are in. The Fold 1 is now $1199. Not $999 like stated in the video. But Be sure to use our code to help soften that blow a bit. *escapef1v1rv60* for $60 off.

    Thanks for the thorough review, including the style of PAS this cadence sensor ebike uses. That is useful information.

      @@EbikeEscape I thought the only Velotric bike that can be ridden in the rain or can be hose down/ sprayed with water are: DISCOVER 2 & Summit ?

    Great review. How does this bike compare to the Aventon Switch 2?

    Could you add in your reviews for each cadence sensor bike: the ghost-ridability factor based on the bike's gearing and pedal assist levels?

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I believe I covered all of these - gearing in the walkaround, ghost pedaling at near 30 mph and I went through all of the pedal assist levels. Let me know if I'm not understanding your question.

    Do you think a 5'7" person could get their feet down flat if needed from the seat?

    That's actually a very *unimpressive* weight capacity for the rack. Actually.. might even be worst in class. Quite a shame given the overall weight capacity of the bike is over 400lbs (which IS best in class!) Missed opportunity by Velotric!

    Is the RadExpand 5 Plus at $1899 worth the price premium over $800 to $1100 "budget" folding bikes ?

    • @DM-fp8uw
      @DM-fp8uw Před 2 měsíci

      It has a torque sensor and fatter tires, but it also only goes to 20mph. Not worth it imho.

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  Před 2 měsíci

      I think it all comes down to how much you value the torque vs cadence sensor.

      The Mokwheel Slate might be a better value. It has a torque sensor and its price is a couple hundred less than the RadExpand.
      What I want to know about Mokwheel are what their quality is like and how good is their customer support?

      They sure look like they use the same case. You’d have to check the polarity of the connectors and take a number of other measurements before even trying.
      After looking more closely, the buttons and LEDs for checkin battery charge are quite different.

      @@chow-chihuang4903 it would be so cool to see all the manufacturers support a single battery type so we can have public battery replacement stations.
