I won’t get the $60 off, but they will put it together and do a six month checkup on it. I like to support my local stores, if possible, or we won’t have any!
I bought 2 of the Velotric Packers during their 2023 Black Friday sale for $1,500 each. Awesome bikes but a bit large and unwieldy when you want to load them up and take them somewhere. If these had been available, I certainly would have considered them.

Nice review! The only downer for me with this and other e-bikes and scooters is the "Thumb Throttle". As a human being with opposable thumbs you loose over 50% of your griping power if your thumb is not under your palm when you are gripping something round. Also your thumb will wear out/cramp up/get tired a whole lot faster than your wrist will with a twist type throttle. If I were out today shopping for a new bike I'd more than likely pass on this one just because of the throttle set-up.
We prefer thumb throttle because twist throttles are often the source of unintended throttle accidents. Thumb throttle with cruise control is our ideal setup because it addresses your reason for preferring the twist throttle. There are good arguments for both methods and it is a part which can be swapped at low cost. -Producer Tim
If you were to compare the fold 1 to the discover 1?? I’d like to be able to pull around a bike trailer in the city. Will the folding ability really be that much easier to bring with a car if I already have a bike rack??

When leaning, riders learn to be attentive to the pedal position. Watching great mountain bikers, one can see how that skill becomes fluid and almost effortless. -Producer Tim
As a kid, 60 or so years ago, we learned to have the pedal in the up position on those turns. Kind of a no brainer and I'm not even sure we had to even consciously learn, it was just intuitive or maybe common sense?
The seat heigh adjustment is incredible and sufficiently high. Miss GoElectric is about 6ft tall with a 36" inseam. That reference point is important when evaluating the frame. That pedal looks really close to the ground! Making a turn while in that position could equal a rough ride (hitting the ground).

They added hydrolic brakes and upped the price. Not exactly the same bike
