I’m a Christian, 27 y.o., not married. I have the sin of masturbation, but specifically via web with strangers. The first time I did it was at 19, then there was a long periods, like 2 years I didn’t do it but I always come back to it. And every time between I think I am free. And every time I felt so much guilty and emptiness after.. This is one of the hardest sins to overcome, but God can free me. I believe in it. Just need to grow in faith❤️🙏

I’m with you there sweet friend. It feels like we will never beat it. But once we do it’s like “I had the power to beat it all along (with Christ)!” Remember to speak positive affirmations to yourself. Don’t think “I’ll never beat this, I’m going to need to do this, I won’t make it, I’m not strong enough, it’s been too long.” Think (and say aloud) “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This is completely within my reach. I can be free. I am loved and I don’t need to do this. I am in control.” It may also be beneficial for you to break soul ties with those strangers, pray for them even, and make an eternal commitment not to return to those sites. Having an accountability partner is so helpful. Don’t worry sweet friend, you CAN do this. You ARE able. You have EVERYTHING you need to win. Keep putting satan back in his place !!!

I am a very strong believer in God as I’ve achieved things that there’s no way I’ve achieved myself. Charisma, for example wasn’t a thing I was born with. Popularity too. Mentality and so on. Unfortunately I commited this sin a lot of times, but that’s why I hate myself. I’ve become a rather insensitive person (not bad person) and since I’ve always looked at everything with a justification perspective I was more and more disgusted by myself. So it didn’t matter to me if I commited this, very sin. But I’ve decided to work on it for myself.

I'm so lost in this. I want my life back before how it was. I started of with a NoFap community, abstineting from masturbation it would make me feel better.

"The modern use of Matthew 5:28 is to regard human beings as robots who are presumed to be able switch off certain aspects of their bodies and minds at will, and reactivate them at the moment they utter the words “I do.” Arguments that ‘lust’ objectifies women and treats them as sex objects abound in their condemnation of the most essential of all human instincts, leaving an endless trail of trauma, guilt and hadephobia in their wake. In reality, they are using a passage which endorses the worst forms of female objectification, misogyny and loveless slavery; their erroneous arguments enabled through religion’s ultimate foundations: the lust for power and control - and the blatant refusal to think."

Don’t worry, no female objectification there. Women can lust just as easily as men can. The sun starts with the intentions of our heart. @@DesGardius-me7gf It’s a thought crime because God knows if we had the chance to do it we would in a heartbeat. Honestly it’s just a sad fact that the system works against us on both sides. The evil one wants to destroy us and uses our nature against us. God wants to save us and our nature rebels against him. Either way we have to face eternity , whether it be hell or heaven. That’s all I’m concerned with for other believers. I want them to live and not die. It’s messy business whatever you do.
Exodus 20:17 says that coveting is a sin, whether it be an ox or a person. The same applies to women (rephrased it would be: “do not cover your neighbors husband.”) God clearly says that women and men are equal but different (Galatians 3:28). A wife belongs to a man in the same way a man belongs to a woman. The reason it is phrased like this is because men would be reading the original scriptures (or hearing them) and then teach them to their wives. Women didn’t recieve the Bible from anyone but their husbands and families usually, to my knowledge.
The heart has always been a symbol , even before Jesus lived on earth. The heart in ancient Aztec cultures symbolized the spiritual center (a persons intelligence, feeling, and spirit). The Bible says to Love God with all your heart in the Torah, exodus 20. The Jews understood what the heart symbolized.

Thanks for making this video about quite a difficult subject. There was something you said which made sense maybe to you or to me, but I don't think it applies to other people. The guilt felt with masturbation isn't just natural, I think its societal as well. Generally (not always) men don't feel guilt about masturbation, but women feel it far more. In fact we know that its still more difficult to talk about the subject for women, whereas with men its expected. The attitude among some girls is this sense of shame because it shows some kind of physical desperation for sex, which men are expected to have naturally and women are not. So even if you or me feel naturally guilty about masturbating, societal pressures can't be excluded...
In my opinion masturbation doesn't do any harm in moderation and for the record I think you're lovely

When the Christian God says, "Love me or I will burn you in Hellfire forever," why is that different from a rapist holding a gun to a woman's head and saying, "Give me what I want or I will blow your brains out?" Where in that do you see God's love and respect for free will? When someone threatens to burn you screaming and thrashing about in horrible agony for a million, billion, trillion, gazillion years, after which your agony will have only just begun, they are obviously attempting to deny you your free will and it is hard to see that as an expression of love. A god that would torture any living creature in such a monstrous manner is devoid of justice, mercy, and love. If a man were to throw a living dog or a cat into a fire, you would think that man was a psychopath. Christians tell us that God is like a loving father. What loving father throws his child into a fire? This is not a good god. Don't tell me God does not throw people into the fire. Nothing can exist without God. He created everything. He created the test: if you pass you go to Heaven. If you fail you burn. If he wanted to save us from the fire, he needed only to stop burning us. If you approve of such cruelty, there is something horribly wrong with you.

    • @patbrumph6769
      @patbrumph6769 Před rokem

Christians tell us that people cannot enter Heaven unless they are Christians. If that is true it raises the following question: If Jesus were an all powerful, all knowing God who wanted to save ALL mankind from the damnation of eternal Hellfire that He invented for them, why would he deliver his message to a thinly populated desert area where most people were poor and illiterate, and then allow his message to slowly percolate through the world over a period of thousands of years thus allowing trillions of men, women, and children to be left in ignorance of his word and salvation, and then be condemned to eternal agony? If Jesus were all powerful and all knowing, He could in the flash of an instant make all mankind knowledgeable of his word and salvation. They would still have the freedom to choose or reject his word, but they would at least know what Jesus taught and have a chance of going to heaven. It seems obvious that God would deliver his word to the whole world in the blink of an eye if He were a good God who loved us as a father loves his children. But He didn't.

Notice that the bible book of John, written approximately 98 -120 CE, when the early followers realized that Jesus was not returning as he promised, curiously, never contains these promises spoken by Jesus.
Like a jilted bride, the early followers had invested so much time and "lost opportunity cost", and we're so invested emotionally, that they couldn't accept that Jesus failed them, and now this belief had become a "heavenly hope".

Did you know that every prophesy in the Bible has been 100 percent fulfilled, there are no contradictions, and medical conditions were represented in the Bible before they were actually investigated and defined concretely by science?

      @@grace_and_purity No contradictions? Oh really?
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began…” -Titus 1:2
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie…” -2 Thessalonians 2:11
That’s a contradiction. And before pull the “read it in context” card, I’m going to point out that the context of 2 Thessalonians 2 is irrelevant. I’m not interested in the _why_ in the passage, I’m interested in the _what_ in it.
What is the God doing in 2 Thessalonians 2, he’s sending a delusion to people so that they’ll believe what’s false, that’s the same thing as lying, no matter what amount of mental gymnastics you try to pull.
The ONLY conclusion that any unbiased reader can come to is that there’s a contradiction.

@@DesGardius-me7gf God isn’t capable of evil. When the Bible says he “hardens hearts” or “sends delusions” the text means he steps aside and allows satan to work. Why? Because satan is the father of lies (biblical verse that I am too lazy to retrieve). You should probably look elsewhere to get these apparent contradictions sorted because it’s impossible for me to do it over a comment section. However I assure you that there are articles online for passages.
