The kitchen is great! The extra counter space back in the corner is perfect for a toaster oven, coffee pot or crock pot so they don’t take up prep space. It may look a little odd but I’d love to have that extra space. Overhead cabinet storage is phenomenall. Could care less about the camp queen because that’s the first thing I’d replace. Jay Feather is a super camper and quality product. We love ours! Thanks, Josh!
Love our '21 24RL! Why would anyone not want more kitchen counter? We use the shelving under the TV for the pantry, the closet is the "closet". We travel 4-5 months a year and having a seperate bedroom with real doors is fantastic. Truely a great layout for a couples camper.
I really like this one too. There are a lot of great floor plans now. Now Jayco make an off road version! I want to be able to go down forest roads and camp in the desert away from people.
I like that they added the drawers under the bed. Perfect for us. My wife and I are 5'6" tall so short queen works great, for us that is great to have the extra room around the bed. Love all the counter space and I know it is easily usable because my son-in-law and daughter own the Jay Flight version of the floor plan and it works just fine. Feather provides a little more storage so I really like this one.
The new gray decor is so much nicer than the dirty looking farmhouse👍Now, if they could just add a standard solar package for the 12V fridge, a “no excuses for not enough room” true queen bed, a decent porcelain toilet and a real bathroom fan this would be awesome!
Great review as always. Have the 2022 version which we bought after seeing your review on it and checking it out in person. Great unit for a couple and no problem towing with a 1/2 ton pick up. Made a couple of changes. Removed the head knocker shelf that was over the bed for the 22s. Put in a full Queen mattress , added a shelf in the upper pantry cupboard made it a lot better for storage. Put a 3/4" wood strip on the edge of the storage shelf under the kitchen counter made the space usable for item when traveling. Better fan in the bedroom. The counter top space is awesome. Have the solar package on ours, no worries with the 12v fridge when boon docking.
Elephant 🐘 enema! 🤣 I like this for a couple’s camper. I really like the bathroom separating the bedroom from the rest of the trailer. And I had the same thought as you for that corner in the kitchen, great for a small appliance or two. The one thing I don’t like is the HOA approved brown cabinets above the theater seats. Either match them, or possibly even eliminate them so it doesn’t feel all claustrophobic.
Josh is so good at his job and he's so funny that I just enjoy watching his videos even if i'm not interested in the rv hes talking about. He's just that fun to watch and listen to. Great Job Josh !!!!!
I really like this this floorplan, especially the travel mode access. I would opt to delete the sliding bathroom door in the bedroom. It’s not really needed as the other door is two feet away!Another nice add on would be a fireplace under the tv.
Completely agree about the fireplace. I actually commented earlier about the bathroom sliding door in agreement with you. My other thing is the fireplace. My current trailer has one and the ol lady and I love it. Heats to our satisfaction without all the noise of the gas furnace.
I sure do like the exterior appearance of these. I like the vintage grey decor interior. Counter space in this one is great for camper this size and it appears to me all of the counter space is useable. As far as the bathroom in a camper this size I would want comfort on the toilet to be priority. Hope that don't make me too weird. As far as the bedroom, I'm replacing the mattress anyway. I do think a battery tending solar package so be included standard. It's just time that is standard just like no carpet in the slides and struts on overhead cabinet doors, oh wait, well you know. Really like this one. Thanks Nerd!
I feel like I've looked at 20,000 RVs! 😂 this is really great. The weights and measures work. The floor plan works. It's cracker barrel compliant. Plenty of counter space. I'd probably put a crock pot, maybe toaster and Keurig over in the long space. I don't mind a camp queen, we're 5'9" and under. If you can slide into three space next to the counter, my daughter and I can easily. I'd go with the jack knife sofa bed so my daughter had a better place to sleep. The dinette was a terrible place to sleep in our sailboat and I can't image it would be any better in a camper. This one is going near the top of my list. Thank you.
I have this very floor plan and I'll tell you the counter is awesome and there are no downsides to it being that size, you'll love it!! not sure about the door to the room as it takes up some hallway space, we like the old fashion curtain. i like this trailer a lot and might be what we buy to replace our 23rlsw since we love the floor plan so much. thanks for the video.
The seat next to the counter can refresh their coffee without having to get up and the little open pocket is the perfect hideyhole for reading materials and a glasses.
Honestly there are so many firmness and comfort options in replacement options and most people immediately replace the "wafer of death" that they use the short mattress because it is simply cheaper given the fact that it is going to be tossed anyway.
We like this floorplan but the radius shower is a deal killer. If they would get rid of the bathroom to bedroom door they would have room to go with a rectangular shower. It is more of a couples camper after all. I like the grey kitchen cabinets but don't like that they go back to a clashing brown in the living area (though it might be a trick of the lighting). Hi, Josh. Curious what happens lately to the pricing links? I know you are so busy, and I hate to whine, but I really miss those. This camper is cute, and I like the colors. Too bad we can't ditch the dinette, move recliners there with folding table(s), and add back wall pantry--winner! Take care Josh. Best to you and yours.
Awesome video and a awesome trailer. I own a 2016 model with the Starcraft label. You won’t find a unit in this size and weight with this much kitchen counter space. It’s a amazing couples unit. Easy to tow with great “road mode”. Been coast to coast with ours and still going strong
I like this unit. I agree with your review. I would definitely add as much solar package as it could take. I noticed on the pantry doors the swing open from the left (as facing them) to the right. I think they should open right to left. It seems to me it would be easier to access from the kitchen area. Overall it is a nice couple’s czz as Moët. Thanks Josh
Oh my goodness where do I begin?! That camp queen does not bother because I’m short 😆, the road mode is awesome, I would change the lazy boys for a hide a bed couch, I love love looove the windows and counter space (that’s what sold it for me- windows, esp ones that open, make the space feel bigger!), the bathroom sink is a nice size and you won’t hit your head on the med cabinet when washing your face because of the distance and size of the two, and all of this under 30 ft!!! Wow! Now they could’ve thrown a solar panel up there. Was it a cost issue that they didn’t? Don’t know. Also a shelf on the side of the bed would’ve been nice for a cpap. And I personally would have a 3/4 ton pulling it just for that extra comfort and safety. In this case more is better (safer). Well another to add to the list, Josh!! Thanks as always for these videos and your honest opinions on what you see. Helps us out alot! Keep warm!
Beautiful RV, love the Jayaco products. Yes, for sure a true queen is a must. I would like the booth table swapped for table and chairs. We currently have an Eagle. Does the AC in the Jay Feather qualify as a whisper quiet like the Eagle? If not, that would be a not deal for me. Thanks.
Four or five alterations will make this nearly perfect. First, get rid of the couch altogether. Now you can get to the counter space. Second, get rid of the outside fridge and use that space for additional kitchen storage. Third, get rid of the slide completely and move the dinette down into the corner opposite the kitchen counter. Keep the dinette facing the same direction. Fourth, enlarge the bathroom a bit into the space where the dinette was. Now you can have a larger shower and linen storage. And finally, keep the entertainment center where it is on the bathroom wall. I think my suggested arrangement would be a bit lighter in weight without the couch and mini fridge. Now, this would be my personal preference. Someone else might not like it. Personally, I don't care for the couch or outside kitchen, and I am not a fan of slides. My suggestion would not have as much open space, but I don't need it.
Yeah if you use an impact gun or driver to lower the jacks you could strip out the treads on the bar, but if you use a regular non impact drill you should be fine. As long as you don’t go full speed all the time
This is cute and very functional. The bathroom doesn't really need 2 doors, a bigger shower would be nice. I like the colors, the cabinets in the kitchen/living room, outdoor kitchen, opening windows, pass through storage and solar! Dand it, there was one more thing I didn't like.... oh well. Thanks for the vid!!
I love having that extra counter space and it's not that big of a deal. It's easily accessible if your partner is in the other chair like you mentioned. This camper is almost perfect for us...
Great video, Josh. You put a nice spin on that kitchen layout. I was looking at this model at a dealer in Mesa and the 2 things that I didn't like was the kitchen layout and the fact that the TV is so far away from the main seating. But after viewing this video, I can see I wouldn't like the bathroom either. Unless you have a huge rig, I think the outside dorm fridge is a waste. If you have to have cold drinks outside, just get a cooler with ice. I liked the layout of the Jay Feather 26RL much better. In fact I bought one last month and will be taking delivery in a couple of weeks. I just wish I had seen your video BEFORE I signed on the dotted line. You are a lot closer to Wisconsin than Arizona! I don't have any experience with the camp queen mattress yet. But, I will swap it out if I have to.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I finally (with your videos) got my husband watching you! With me of course! lol 😂 I told him that it would be worth a trip up from Florida to see you all! We have been looking foe an RV but....I’m the cheap one and have a hard time justifying the expense since we both are now retired. You never know!!! I am quite persuasive! Thank you Josh for being honest with the good and the bad as you see it! 🥰🙏👍🏻👍🏻
The other day I viewed a used RV online. It had rich brown wood cabinetry, fabric valances, carpet in the bedroom. I thought "rich and cozy," like a real home. Every new RV reminds me of the back of an ambulance with all the hard surfaces. A complete lack of carpet gives you cold floors, echoes and more overall noise. Just my two cents. Like the floorplan and you can always use more counter space. Would prefer a full queen bed.
Great layout, which is what I am looking for, but the one thing I am seeing more and more is that the fresh water fill is on the entry side. We do all of our camping at Provincial Parks (Canada), and the water fill stations are always on the other side, which would become a major inconvenience
Josh, I almost really love this trailer. It needs a little change.....put a bar style countertop and two bar stools where the recliners are and put a trifold or the recliners where the dinette is. What do you think?
Hmm, as possible rear seating arrangement, maybe put the loveseat where the dinette is, then have a L shape bench seat on the rear wall and along the side opposite the counter. Put a floating table in front and you'd have a nice breakfast/lunch nook. That'd really open up the floor space in front of the counter. Downside would be losing the sleeping area the dinette provides and you'd have a necker wrecker tv situation. Theres pro's and con's to everything. It has lots of nice features though!
I guess we will be the people who just really don't care for this floorplan. During our process of elimination, we checked one of these out and for us we felt like that extra counter space just took away from the rear seating we had to stretch our necks to see over the counter and the drawers that close to the seating was a bit of a pain. I was really hoping that this one would work out for us, but we were really looking for a unit where we could set and enjoy that big back window and not have our backs to it, also if Jayco could get that ducting off the floor that would be a plus. Other than those items it was a good unit but we had to eliminate it because of those things. We finally narrowed down the list to 3 units, Cougar 25RDS, Imagine 2500RL and Wildwood 24RLXL and after going through all these I think we are going to go with the Cougar mostly because of the dinette being in the back. I say all this so if Jayco, Grand Design and others are listening you might think about putting the dinette in the back so folks can enjoy that big window instead of in the slide where they get to enjoy the utility side of the camper.
I completely agree. I would take the dinette furniture out and put the couch in its place. Then put a wall mounted counter where the couch was with a couple of stools. This way you could enjoy the rear window when backed into campgrounds.
If someone didn’t need the extra seating, I think it would look nice to get rid of the theater seating and just put in a La-Z-Boy chair and a nightstand. That would maximize your kitchen counter “workspace”. Nice camper.
Once again, if they could option this with a single recliner for a single guy "would also make that counterspace functional" and turn that dinette into a desk, it would be practical for me. It also doesn't look like they used as much real-estate as they have available to fit a larger TV in. That true queen is a necessity for me as well. Really as is with that awkward looking counter space, I would make it functional with a few appliances such as a coffee maker and air frier, I wouldn't lean over that couch to prep food.
Nice floorplan, I wonder if free floating swivel recliners would fit in the space where the theater seat is, that might help to make that spot more functional, might also make looking out that back window easier if you were lucky enough to get a spot with a good view behind you. Most people will ditch the factory mattress in favor of a true queen that better fits their needs, so not really a deal breaker.
I understand why the bubble above the shower is there, but I wish they could put an insulated non transparent bubble. Down here in the south there is alot of heat that comes trough. I modified mine.
My biggest change would be eliminating the bathroom door from the bedroom. It’s such a waste of space. It’s a couples camper. Get rid of the door and use the space in the bathroom. We all know space in rv bathrooms is at a premium.
The more and more of these I watch, I've realized that everybody replaces their mattress. I guess they use that as an excuse to not use a full queen. As opposed to why don't they put in a decent sleeping mattress to begin with. That theatre seat can scoot to the right a couple of inches more and make it easier to get to that extended counter space which I love! Wall color blech but over all I really like this one. Good pricing too.
It's super super common to replace bedding. Yeah. There's no way for a MFG to include a mattress people agree is "good." They could spend a ton of money on a mattress a lot of people dislike and end up with a more expensive RV as a result. So they often put in the cheapest back breaker death wafer they can and allow you to swap in whatever you want. Some people have suggested selling RVs with no mattresses in them but after years in this business and seeing people shop even a used RV for far less money with no mattress.. I can tell you the general public will not go for that. They see something missing and assume corner cutting
I wish there were more rear living in the 30ft range. Also with twin beds option . My husband wants windows in the back, not a bathroom , every camper with twin beds has a rear bath☹️
I never thought about it but you're basically right In this size anyway More and more people starting to request twins. I feel like it's starting to happen slowly
Before I planned to live in an RV for a while, I was really eyeing the 24rl as a vacation trailer. The main thing for me is that only a dinette is offered in the popout; I'd rather another sofa.
When I originally saw this floorplan, I despised that LR arrangement. Now I kind of like it. It's a tiny box, so they have to cram stuff together in ways you probably wouldn't do at home. Good outdoor space, though I never like a heat source under my awning. Wow! Outdoor speakers. What a unique and modern concept! Never a fan of a simple dinette. Why do they put 2 bathroom doors in a couple's camper? Get rid of that bedroom door and it will open up a lot of possibilities All in all it's a food floorplan.
This is a great layout - If only they had kept the 6'9" interior ceiling height. Also, if the counter space width next to sofa was was a little narrow it would give more room for you to stand next to the sofa end and still provide a useable space .for other appliances.
Hi Uncle Josh...I'm hijacking this vid's comment section to ask you about the NEW 2023 BIGFOOT INDUSTRIES BIGFOOT 2500 SERIES 25B25RQ but twin option. Lol. I just pasted that in .... i didn't mean for it to be giant...albeit appropriate...🤣 Anyway I see Bish's in Bozeman is listed as a dealer on the Bigfoot site. This one has me curious. Got anything you can share on another vid?
… why not just make it a rear kitchen? Putting a couch in a kitchen doesn’t make it a living room. It could be worse. There’s one with this floor plan with the stove next to the couch.
It is not. that starts with white hawk That being said - No RV is truly “Four Season.” they’re tested down to zero but that’s not. No RV is “All weather.”
Why don't manufacturers sell their products without a mattress? So many people replace the mattress for something of better quality, but then they are stuck with the old mattress. If they can find someone who wants the old mattress great. But otherwise, they either end up storing it (taking up space) or it goes into a landfill somewhere. It would be more convenient to sell the trailer without a mattress and the consumer can actually pick what he/she wants. Personally, I'm 5'9 and husband is 6'1 so "camp" queen does not work for us. Same situation with the tv. I'm glad some models are not even sold with tv's anymore because people want to pick their own, if they even want one. Many people consume media via streaming on their laptops/tablets and don't want or need a separate television. This would cut some production costs and eliminate waste as well. They could make those items optional if the consumer wants them but I don't like being forced to deal with the hassle of swapping them out. That's my 2 cents! I'll stop whining now.
Short answers: because people would not react well to a new rv with no mattress. I’ve seen it countless times in the used market. The response would be exceptionally poor
Not a fan of the couch in front of the counter. Just my opinion. I think it's silly and looks like a college kid drew up the floor plan. Couch over food I guess
normally i would not like chair and kitchen counter right there.... but when consider what this is meant to be, which is important consideration, it is actually a good setup, that corner there is very good spot for the crock pot to sit all day if do that kind of cooking, or the computer printer to sit out of the way, not to mention a lot of counter space is not actually worked directly in front of, just a place to slide things out of the way until you need it, even in kitchen with full access to counter, people do that, slide what they need next over to them instead of move over to it... so fine there too. and with that shelf under it there, that basically makes an end table of sorts for the chair, not a great one, but better than none at all by far, all the things you may want while sitting there will fit there unless you keep a bowling ball next to you on the table. .... so ya, look at it and go umm??? but once you see the versatility and potential... ahhh.. ok that works. not perfect in either way, but works for both.... as i said what it is meant to be in the first place is very important consideration.... would not make a bit of sense in something bigger, but for this, makes perfect sense.... gives you the most important aspects of both, but not all the convienience of either completely, as is more common the smaller you go.
The kitchen is great! The extra counter space back in the corner is perfect for a toaster oven, coffee pot or crock pot so they don’t take up prep space.
Thx for watching Mike! Hope your rv treats you well MK matter where it came from!
NEVER SEEN, OR FORGOT THIS ONE. IM ADDING IT TO THE LIST, AMAZING CHEESE
Amazing cheese? lol
Alrighty then!
I love this unit! It would be perfect for my husband and myself! 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🥰💕
Thx for watching Jill
@@JoshtheRVNerd I finally (with your videos) got my husband watching you! With me of course! lol 😂 I told him that it would be worth a trip up from Florida to see you all! We have been looking foe an RV but....I’m the cheap one and have a hard time justifying the expense since we both are now retired. You never know!!! I am quite persuasive! Thank you Josh for being honest with the good and the bad as you see it! 🥰🙏👍🏻👍🏻
@@jillcarlson2076 Whatever you choose.. thank you for watching :)
Love the big awning but your heater exhaust, water heater and grill area takes most of it leaving little room for chairs during drizzle or bright sun.
Sometimes those dang peanuts just need a little help moving through 😏
I would love to see shelves in those overhead cupboards. Just to help with sorting out the dishes and cups and glasses.
Great idea!
It's not my favourite but i reckon it's always better to have that countertop space even if it's a little awkward than not! I could make it work 😆
It’s really not as goofy as it looks when you see it in person
Hello JTRVN!
👋🏻
Great layout, which is what I am looking for, but the one thing I am seeing more and more is that the fresh water fill is on the entry side. We do all of our camping at Provincial Parks (Canada), and the water fill stations are always on the other side, which would become a major inconvenience
Yeah goofy necessary evil on this one
Overall a very nice Jayco 😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Great Work Josh 😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
@@JoshtheRVNerd You are very welcome Josh😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✝️✝️✝️
Josh, I almost really love this trailer. It needs a little change.....put a bar style countertop and two bar stools where the recliners are and put a trifold or the recliners where the dinette is. What do you think?
I could totally see that..
I like the disconnect mounted on the tounge of the trailer. Like that if I need to cut it off in an emergency it's easy to get to! Just me though.
I would get rid of the theater seats and put a single recliner in its place
I like it.
Ty
Hmm, as possible rear seating arrangement, maybe put the loveseat where the dinette is, then have a L shape bench seat on the rear wall and along the side opposite the counter. Put a floating table in front and you'd have a nice breakfast/lunch nook. That'd really open up the floor space in front of the counter.
Downside would be losing the sleeping area the dinette provides and you'd have a necker wrecker tv situation. Theres pro's and con's to everything. It has lots of nice features though!
Very true! +/- to any changes!
I totally agree!
👍🏻
Nice floorplan, I wonder if free floating swivel recliners would fit in the space where the theater seat is, that might help to make that spot more functional, might also make looking out that back window easier if you were lucky enough to get a spot with a good view behind you. Most people will ditch the factory mattress in favor of a true queen that better fits their needs, so not really a deal breaker.
A pair of recliners could fit yeah
Unedited is part of your charm Josh 🤪
😊
Those chairs are ridiculous!
I understand why the bubble above the shower is there, but I wish they could put an insulated non transparent bubble. Down here in the south there is alot of heat that comes trough. I modified mine.
Totally fair
Oh, this would perfect to me if I could get a HAB sofa in the slide instead of a dinette...
A few others mentioned that makes me wonder..
My biggest change would be eliminating the bathroom door from the bedroom. It’s such a waste of space. It’s a couples camper. Get rid of the door and use the space in the bathroom. We all know space in rv bathrooms is at a premium.
I would also prefer a single door
Too bad that dinette isn't longer, would have to go hydabed. Still thinking the dbud is my go-to right meow.
Is there an option for a table and chairs instead of the booth dinette?
Pretty sure there is
Lost me at camp queen. But the camper is great outside of the bed made for the Keebler's.
Fair enough
LOL keeblers
I might use that. I like it
I wish there were more rear living in the 30ft range. Also with twin beds option . My husband wants windows in the back, not a bathroom , every camper with twin beds has a rear bath☹️
I never thought about it but you're basically right
In this size anyway
More and more people starting to request twins. I feel like it's starting to happen slowly
It would be nice to have price of units u show
I can work with that counter layout. We like to cook, so counter space is important.
No pricing yet?
I think I forgot the link at first but have it updated now
Before I planned to live in an RV for a while, I was really eyeing the 24rl as a vacation trailer. The main thing for me is that only a dinette is offered in the popout; I'd rather another sofa.
I wonder if we could request that…
Why cant they move the sofa to the slide and put just table and chairs against the back wall to make that countertop more usable.
I'm only 5ft so don't need a true queen and like the extra walk space so I'm good there.😁
👍🏻
When I originally saw this floorplan, I despised that LR arrangement. Now I kind of like it. It's a tiny box, so they have to cram stuff together in ways you probably wouldn't do at home.
Good outdoor space, though I never like a heat source under my awning.
Wow! Outdoor speakers. What a unique and modern concept!
Never a fan of a simple dinette.
Why do they put 2 bathroom doors in a couple's camper? Get rid of that bedroom door and it will open up a lot of possibilities
All in all it's a food floorplan.
Single bath door would be my preference as well. Ty
This is a great layout - If only they had kept the 6'9" interior ceiling height. Also, if the counter space width next to sofa was was a little narrow it would give more room for you to stand next to the sofa end and still provide a useable space .for other appliances.
Feathers have never been taller inside but I wouldn’t be opposed to it
So it is the "Jay Flight" series that has the taller 6'9" interior ceiling?
@@JoshtheRVNerd
Would like to see a JAYCO JAY FLIGHT SLX 8 265TH
Slightly dated but here you go m.czcams.com/video/hZr-0Vpxge8/video.html
Hi Uncle Josh...I'm hijacking this vid's comment section to ask you about the NEW 2023 BIGFOOT INDUSTRIES BIGFOOT 2500 SERIES 25B25RQ but twin option. Lol. I just pasted that in .... i didn't mean for it to be giant...albeit appropriate...🤣
Anyway I see Bish's in Bozeman is listed as a dealer on the Bigfoot site. This one has me curious. Got anything you can share on another vid?
I have nothing I can offer you on those at this time I am afraid but the local teams can assist you
… why not just make it a rear kitchen? Putting a couch in a kitchen doesn’t make it a living room. It could be worse. There’s one with this floor plan with the stove next to the couch.
Frankly I like the idea. Kinda like this m.czcams.com/video/aj-VEKKC0Y4/video.html
Why not swap recliners and booth? Instead of booth do a free standing table with chairs and a love seat where the booth is?
Some folks here have a few good ideas. I think this model could be tweaked a bit and be even better
👍🏼
Why are the cabinets above the seats a different color?
It’s just what they do on these
But does it sleep 5
The ugly obviously includes that dang theatre seat!
That dang seat
I wish they would give it a rest with the bathroom door in the bedroom on these smaller trailers.
Really.. I agree
Is this their 4 season trailer
It is not. that starts with white hawk
That being said - No RV is truly “Four Season.” they’re tested down to zero but that’s not.
No RV is “All weather.”
Didn't the two axle Jaycos always have 6'9" ceilings before? Being 6'4" I don't like this development. lol
The Jay Flight series always was. Feathers were always 6'6"
There's a lot of "Jayco Jay****" models lol. It gets messy
Yeah that's a deal-breaker the kitchen doesn't have enough space and I much rather have an enclosed bedroom
Perhaps I don’t understand but that bedroom does enclose
I know the bedroom doesn't in enclosed. That's why I don't like the bedroom
I am not impressed those chairs are ugly and same ole crap brown every where
normally i would not like chair and kitchen counter right there.... but when consider what this is meant to be, which is important consideration, it is actually a good setup, that corner there is very good spot for the crock pot to sit all day if do that kind of cooking, or the computer printer to sit out of the way, not to mention a lot of counter space is not actually worked directly in front of, just a place to slide things out of the way until you need it, even in kitchen with full access to counter, people do that, slide what they need next over to them instead of move over to it... so fine there too. and with that shelf under it there, that basically makes an end table of sorts for the chair, not a great one, but better than none at all by far, all the things you may want while sitting there will fit there unless you keep a bowling ball next to you on the table. .... so ya, look at it and go umm??? but once you see the versatility and potential... ahhh.. ok that works. not perfect in either way, but works for both.... as i said what it is meant to be in the first place is very important consideration.... would not make a bit of sense in something bigger, but for this, makes perfect sense.... gives you the most important aspects of both, but not all the convienience of either completely, as is more common the smaller you go.
I love the perspective and recognizing the goals of the layout vs only seeing stuff one way. Seems rare sometimes
