DON'T EVER change Uncle Josh!! WE LOVE ❤️ 😍 you just as you are!! 😊❤
you got it :)
Thank you for including the Touring Edition 21MRK in your list!
Yes! That is one of the RV’s near the top of my list.
You bet! Thank you for improving that bathroom!
We just bought the Minilite 2516s after drooling over it at the Detroit RV show a year ago. We're loving the big bedroom.
It's such a good model. If you visit again, then swing thru and say hello! I'm usually there most days
Coachmen Freedom express 252rbs or 274rks are my current favorites. Full outdoor kitchens make them the top of the list for me.
Good choice!
In the Imagine XLS line I think we are up to four that all have a GVWR of 6995 lbs. The issue for us then became one of cargo capacity. Due to the larger 23LDE and 24BSE having much higher dry weights you lose 400 - 750 pounds of cargo capacity compared to the slightly smaller 22MLE and 22RBE. This capacity difference isn't s big deal for short outings to nearby state parks or campgrounds but can make a big difference on longer trips of a couple of weeks or more. While we loved the 23LDE floorplan when we were looking for a new trailer the higher capacity of the 22MLE gave it the edge.
We didn't care for the Cougar 22MLS because of the lack of bedside drawers, the bedside carpet and front window. It is also on the heavier side, not a bad thing, so doesn't have the cargo capacity of some of its competitors. We also don't like the Stable Steps. Not only do they take up more space when using them in a parking lot they do not adapt well to rustic campsites. If they got rid of the carpet which would allow them to install drawers and optioned regular foldout stairs it might have been higher up on our list.
We both really liked the front kitchen with rear bedroom trailers we saw when searching for a new trailer. If it hadn't been for the loaded tongue weights of most pushing into 3/4 ton territory we probably would have gone that route.
A little off topic but somewhat related. We still aren't fans of instant hot water heaters as most, not all, can't be used in freezing weather due to no anti-freeze protection while traveling thus shortening our camping season. We also didn't think the water temperature was as consistent as the tank style. After experimenting a bit we found a way to keep the water temperature at the shower head more consistent by not using the cold water to set the temperature. Instead we set the temp at the thermostat and only turn on the hot water when in the shower. So I will give the tankless a thumbs up in this regard.
Any topic is a fine topic here! TY for sharing! :)
I've noticed Imagine does tend to have "minimal" cargo ratings and lower GVWR's pretty regularly though I've seen them address that on a few models over the past year or two
I saw an RV out west this past weekend that was a 32ft model with a super slide with less than 700lbs of available cargo from empty.. that's just dumb
My wife and I are looking at the Rockwood mini lite 2511s. With the power pack option you get 1000 watts solar, 460 amp battery. Bedroom is separate from living space. Under 26 feet long. Looks so good to us. Thanks for a great video!
Rockwood is an excellent brand I hold in pretty much the highest of esteem. That's a solid choice right there
That was our pick in 2020 but the weight and length was just too much for my Frontier😬so we picked up our 2021 2205S with theater seating in August of 2020 and have loved it ever since, even though it pushes the truck to it’s limits👍
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent grouping Josh! Thank you for ALL you do! Interesting that I noticed the Ember 21MRK has bigger gaps on the side of the Murphy bed than they used to. Still better than every other manufactures Murphy Beds though! Made notes on a few of these, as they seem excellent! 😊
Ty Erin!
Thank you for your continued interest in our 21MRK!
O.M.G. you don't make it easy! I loved them all! Perfect for me as a single traveler and easily most are great for heavy half ton deisel truck!
lol
Love the Cougars!
On the MiniLite, I would LOVE ❤️ to have the front kitchen window open from both ends, that would be so AWESOME! ❤😊
IMO the KZ Connet SE 241RESE is a good choice for a couples travel trailer. Really enjoy your clips and videos!! It's your unique squecky voice, puns, and laughing at yourself that makes you standout over the other basic regular RV videos .....keeps me always coming back! Keep up the great work!!
I wish we had more KZ in our lineup. I get to see so little of them. I'd be curious to go thru a bunch
I like the Imagines. And the Alliance. But I also thought they were all very nice. Thank you Josh I loved how you grouped them. Great job Josh! Very well done! Josh! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
TY Sherri! If you had to pick one, then what would it be?
@@JoshtheRVNerd
Probably the Alliance.
Love all the rv on the list today! Thank you josh!
Our pleasure!
I'm glad you are posting these. I want to get a midsized truck and a camper I can take out some weekends on longer trips and these are hitting an itch that needs scratched. You are saving me tons of time, because there are so many options out there it is overwhelming. Although it looks like this list is a bit out of my length and weight limits and wants, it's nice to get some things narrowed down easily rather than spend hours upon hours browsing brochures and doing searches.
I have a video coming specific to mid-size trucks actually! Stay tuned!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Oh I'm looking forward to that. I am planning to get a Honda Ridgeline in the next month or two and it can tow up to 5k which is fine for me. I want something that 19-20 foot max, easy to tow and get in and out of places. I'm subscribed so I'll be watching soon after you post lol
2025 Cougar 25FKD is my top pick. Love your videos!
It’s so good
I like the Freedom Express 274rks!
That's actually a floor plan I helped create :)
252Surveyor is my pick. Love those c's.... Carry Capacity Cargo
Surveyor is a brand that doesn’t get the credit it deserves I think
Great choices! Love that Delta 252RL. I like the 2516S, but actually prefer the 2515S. Although you have to trade off a camp queen, and some counter space. But you gain a rectangular shower!
Yessir!
Eh, so you were thinking about Glazed chicken breast for lunch. No big deal. I love your videos. I love the mistakes in your videos. Don't ever change. Just like DIDIbolter9362 says! We love you exactly as you are.
😆 Ty so much
That Cougar is a real winner. No doubt about it.
I feel like they still don't get the credit the deserve for travel trailers
Great video. Thank you! You gave the Grand Design Imagine 22MLE an honorable mention which is good as (from our perspectives) it trumps most of these (except possibly the Imagine 23LDE and the Cougar 22MLS :) in layout and design with winning features such as camp side dinette and windows which is a much more amazing feature than people realize.
We will definitely give both the Imagine 23 LDE and the Cougar 22 MLS a close look.
Thanks for all you do.
The MLE is a monster without question. I just _personally_ happen to like the 22MLS a little myself
But I'd never turn my nose up at the MLE
We love our 2021 22 mls. Added 200 watt Solar and travel annually from Tn west to wonder around, fly fish and visit our kids in CO….
Nice!! That must’ve been JUST before solar became standard
The Zamp ready package was on the trailer . Just added the panels. Only bummer the controller won’t handle lithium. Our 2 flooded 27s handle our needs. Plus gas generator. Love reading your stuff. I used you when adding my solar.
I really like when you compare 4-6 campers. Wish you would do this with small 5th wheels
I think I can swing that. Give me a little time
We have a Cougar 30rkd which I loves as a couples camper but it is almost 35 feet long. Travel mode you can access everything and the theater seat is right in front of the 50 inch tv and the fireplace. A separate bedroom and you don't have to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom!
I really really like that one actually! I'm shocked nobody else has really copied that kitchen/living setup!
Uncle Josh's #1 pick will be a ROCKWOOD of some type....second choice: a Cougar! Let's see if I'm right....
darn close!
Josh, you may need to hide your love of cougars from your wife 😂. Great work as always!
You're not the first to suggest it lol
Own a 22MLS. But if and when I upgrade I will go for the 25FKD. Thanks Josh!
I haven't recorded it yet but the updates to the 25FKD since my first prototype are awesome
Hard to beat Cougar but Rockwood is really close. Thank you Josh!
Rockwood is never the wrong answer really
Love your video reviews and thoughts on different RVs. I'm wondering if you've ever or in the future will do a video on your thoughts of the RV industry as a whole today. Specifically the quality of the RVs the manufacturers are putting out and the way they handle warranty issues. I've heard some really horror stories and it is scaring me away from getting an RV as I'm getting closer to retirement and want to get an RV to see the country.
I touch on topics like that monthly in my industry update series. Also about once a year I put out a video with my general impressions of the state/quality of the industry as I've encountered it
Love the idea and suggestion!
Hello Uncle Josh 😊! I like this Imagine, your #8 pick, the bathroom sold it for me! ❤
I also like a rear bedroom ❤ Great job my friend!
I hope you liked the "Bird Nerd" t-shirt and mug, my phone died after 9 years, had to get a new one, so I am now catching up.
Hug your daughter and your wife for me and of course, your doggie McGillicuty ❤
Take care Uncle Josh
❤❤❤❤
9 years?! I'd say you got your money's worth!
The Bird Nerd stuff had me laughing! It was super kind TY so much
I actually have your card sitting on my desk in my office :)
"Hemispheritage Glen"!!! Bringing the Nerdism count up to 37!
That's the one!
I really like what Salem/ Wildwood did with the 22mls floor plan but I agree with putting the Cougar above it on this list.
I'm glad a RW MiniLite made the list (I own a 2507s), but prefer the 2515s over GD's version even though the kitchen isn't as good. Also, I prefer trailers closer to 25 ft, so all the bigger ones on the list were ignored. Lol.
That 2515S has been a break out star for sure!
This is a Murder Hoboberer's Row of couples campers!
hahahaa
Just went to check out the Couger 22 MLS. I'd prefer the table and chairs, but I'm thinking I'd like to leave the one bench seat and get the free standing table and 2 chairs. I do like this one but there are a few others I feel might be a bit better fit for me. When I figure out which one it is ill let know. Thanks for the links.
Those half-and-half dinette setups can work pretty nicely. I could see it
Bwaaaaa ha ha......the B(r)east pound for pound!
Yeah that was a genuine moment of shock and "ooops!" on my face there
Do like that Alliance.
It's sharp. I like how they really involve customer input
@@JoshtheRVNerd that is huge!
I have to agree, the 22MLS is one I keep coming back to, mostly because of that freestanding dinette option, along with the 25RDS (I'd have to rip out that U dinette though, bit of a project) and the 260MLE 5th wheel as a premium option with the pull out table. I just wish more couples campers offered that freestanding option in a smaller footprint, I get why the RV manufacturers don't often like dealing with too many options but to me it seems worth it for the dinette swaps.
What if that 25RDS had something like a rear wall dining bar + chairs & perhaps a few outlets for something like a laptop?
@@JoshtheRVNerd if there was room for a permanent set of dual monitors, maybe! My current plan is to get something with a freestanding dinette, toss it, and put my existing desk from home in there but I'd be happy to find a move in ready solution too! I know some exist but they're still rare to find, especially for floorplans I prefer.
Lot of folks in groups I see asking how others have set up multi-monitors. It's good input
We love our 2022 Cougar 25RDS. The campsite and rear views are fantastic. We really liked the 22MLS too but wanted more room for a guest to stay which the big dinette provided. We also like the bigger bathroom, the fireplace, and the 50 amp service. We liked the Imagine 23LDE but it is only 30AMP, seems to have lighter axles, smaller tanks, less cargo capacity, lower ceilings, smaller stove, and no fireplace.
Things I would change in our 25RDS, solid surface countertops, shelves instead of hanging space in bedroom closets, increase kitchen cabinet drawer length an inch or 2, ours are only 14.5” inside and there seems to be room to make them longer.
I need one of these serious for under 31' toy haulers please.
I'll see what I can whip up but I don't want to over promise - I don't see a ton of haulers typically and may not be able to properly populate a list like that
Perfect Does Not Exist - Only What Floats Your Boat ! Company and Dealer Reputations are Critical ! They All look good on a showroom floor ? Do Your Homework ! 👍
yes. yes. yes. and yes.
@JoshtheRVNerd can you do a review on the Forest River IBEX 23RLDS and how they offer a "Beast Mode" upgrade
I'll keep an eye out for one. We have an ibex store nearby but I don't see one in stock
I like the Rockwood Minilite except for the mirrored closet doors. I think the doors look cheap. The Grand Design Imagine XLS 23LDE got my attention.
Awesome Ty for watching!
Love watching your reviews. Just a pity you can’t review KZ RVs
I've never had the opportunity to go thru many. Historically they struck me as _the_ bargain basement brand.. *BUT...*
For the past several years I've seen where it looks like they've made some strides to step up and they've certainly piqued my interest. Hopefully some time I get the chance to go thru some if one of our stores adds them to our lineup
Well there ya have it. Like you, I am still holding out for the 22MLS. I go to the local dealer once a year and sit in the new one just to see it. (Is that creepy) One of these days.
Nah that’s fair. Give us a call when you’re ready
How about couples-only 5th wheels? Is it coming down the pipe? Preferably 3/4 ton towable. 11.5k lbs and under.
I think I do have something like that coming..
21MRK Now add in a fiberglass roof. Who could compete? I understand, they might not want to change to fiberglass. But I think it is an interesting thought.
Thank you for your feedback!
I could see it.. ABS on touring edition would add some cost but also make sense
How it started: "We're gonna buzz through...6 or 7 campers..."
How its going: First camper is #9
I love these extended Director Cuts :)
There are too many good ones out there right now..
Thank you Josh for showing the Grand design models, the have been receiving so much negative BS lately, my opinion, they are a great rv and of course im a little bit parcel, I own one, Thanks for adding them.
I appreciate you sharing how you feel and respect how others feel as well. I say with confidence the RVs in this video are the ones I personally have no issues with owning myself
I'm headed to the Imagine 23LDE. I really like the layout. If you like to have some friends join you(couples) there is a spot for them,
That LDE was really, really well done without question. I love all the counter space. It's THE thing that makes the layout for me
Check out the Jayco 2024 White Hawk 26FK for couples. It’s absolutely amazing, bright, spacious, storage galore, pet friendly with no grates on the floor.
Great model! Here's a few others with similar layouts and no floor vents:
► Heritage Glen 270FKS czcams.com/video/_aGhVdG2Wdg/video.html
► Freedom Express 259FKDS: czcams.com/video/hzvx0UFU-c8/video.html
► Surveyor 268FKBS: czcams.com/video/YFyXzIJtcGQ/video.html
And a video to the white hawk in question:
► White Hawk 26FK: czcams.com/video/ynuQ2pqt_1I/video.html
@@JoshtheRVNerd thank you, I will definitely check all of these out.
As long as an RV has a ladder, 200 watts of solar for the 12V fridge, Goodyear tires, theater seating, a TV, fireplace, oven, porcelain toilet, shower door and decent vent fan, and no outdated “Denny’s” diner booth dinette it would make a perfect couple’s camper for me😂
That new Brinkley Model Z 285 will make the list next year!
Quite possibly. I think I recorded this before that came out. I think it's a monster model that I do like quite a bit
@@JoshtheRVNerd same here. Would love to walk through one in person.
285 isn't out yet. Just cause it's new and the manufacturer puts out videos saying how great they are doesn't make it so. Very heavy and much more $.
@@Mike-te1xx Odd, a quick search show that some dealers have them available, one has 14 of them. All manufacturers say how great their trailers are, from what I have seen first hand Brinkley's ( and others ) are pretty darn well put together. Yes, they are pricey.
@@rsmartin68 pre-sales, they arrive late May.
Thank you for this review, but I'm still partial to our Apex 293rlds for a couples camper. It provides a similar layout to a 5'er, but at less than 30 feet.
That is a great model but for clarity that RV is 34ft long in total. The model number of an RV doesn't typically denote its actual length
Thought I would share in the event you find yourself hunting a parking space that won't fit your RV & spare you the trouble
@@JoshtheRVNerd yeah, I understand my number doesn't include the tongue.
👍🏻
Does any manufacture support holding tanks for travel with full tanks like alliance, or are they it?
Brinkley does that as well but to my knowledge those are the only two in the towable world who openly say "yeah it's fine"
Question. Any chance of you reviewing a INTECH RV? I’ve been looking at them recently and was wondering what you think of them? I’m thinking of buying the OVR Navigate. Thanks Dave. Really appreciate and like your channel!😬
Our salt lake store carries those as you can see here www.bishs.com/rv-search?s=true&manufacturer=intech+rv so it's not impossible
But I'm not in Utah often so I don't get my hands on them regularly
@@JoshtheRVNerd that’s OK. I’ve got about three years before I’m gonna buy one anyway I’m waiting till I retire so hopefully you’re able to be out in Utah and maybe make a video that would be awesome.😊
Is Rockstaff ever going to make a 22MLE or 22MLS? Love that floorplan but would like to stay with Rockstaff.
lol I've been saying it for three years. But comments like this actually help grease the wheels. Send this comment in a screenshot to them now
I'd really like to see what Alliance Delta could come up with in the 22 - 24 foot lengths.
That could be cool!
Good video Josh, since I'm not really interested in travel trailers. The question that occurs to me. IS Ember going to ever make fifth wheels?
It's likely they will in time. I've not seen or heard anything of it yet
I'd love to see them made 3-4 models in the 30-32ft range
Thank you for your interest! Ember is very, very interested in fifth wheels. When it happens (and it’s only a question of when), you know that Josh will have the video first!
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles Since I'm a few years out from buying one, I'm looking forward to saying them.
We might need to call Drew Carey, the special presentation of fart fan could be an asset on the Price is Right!
Have to ask, how are ya able to sleep and not wake up reviewing an RV? 😆
I'm game!
Do you ever show smaller light weight 5th wheels. For couples. Like 30-32’ and around 6000lbs. I like the layouts of the pull behinds but prefer to pull 6th wheels over pull behinds.
Outside of specialty "egg camper" style builders 6,000lb FWs essentially don't exist so I wouldn't really have options to display for you.
FWs are taller, heavier, and require more structure. That puts them beyond a 6,000lb range pretty much immediately
I want nerd preferred narrow body couples campers 7-7.5’ wide. Think newer midsize towable.
I have something coming soon you might like with a few of those
Ember overland series might fit those width specifications. Note Ember says 8 feet wide, but the 191 series body is only 7.5 feet (the tires are outside this width a couple of inches as is the awning frame (so Ember posts the specifications as 8 feet), But you can see past the body with standard pickup truck mirrors in the towing position.
22eras is my prediction.
Also didn’t even make the list. Oh no! 😂
lol it IS a super cool model but it's hard to narrow down options sometimes. SOMETHING good has to go
Your pick is going to be a Cougar because I always see a twinkle in your eye when you show a Cougar...doesn't matter if it's a 5th wheel or small trailer.
lol guilty. I am a fan of what they do
Ok Josh, how would the Airstream Flying Cloud pit against this list outside of the doulb/triple price?
I'm not really familiar with the specifics of what Airstream does so I don't feel I'm qualified to weigh in there if that's fair
24:14 HR may have something to say, but Sigmund Freud said it first! Also,I think we may have been twins separated at birth. 😅
that was a rare moment of genuine shock on my face
Back to my comment on KZ, I believe the Connect C261RB is THE best couples camper available
I hope to get the opportunity to go thru a bunch of their stuff sometime
@@JoshtheRVNerd come review ours!!
Good video Josh. I like the Cougars overall-BUT, the dealbreaker for me is the huge obstruction on the street side of the bed. It’s not a “walk around” bed. The Alliance Delta would probably be the “breast” one on this list, for me. 🤣😂😮
lolololol
#RVNerdHerd 🎉 😊 🎉
Josh,I’m looking to purchase the Cougar 25fkd when more are readily available and realistically in December when I pay off my current travel trailer and sell privately and would really want to purchase from you BUT is it possible to buy from you and get it to Texas???
Yeah we can do that. I'm not in sales personally if that's what you're asking but we could easily do something like complete the purchase through our coldwater, MI store then have it shipped down to you
Whether we ship it from nearby where they are made or the factory ships it to a TX dealer it still has shipping costs so that'll basically wash out
@@JoshtheRVNerdawesome! I look forward to doing business with your location and thanks for all the videos and info you’ve given over the years! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The alliance delta DOES do it better… I love this floor plan. The others seem like they don’t have enough storage. This one is great
Did you know the alliance owners actually voted on that version of the layout? Alliance had four concepts, shared them with the owners, and just said "which is best?"
I LOVE how they do that
What was the rv behind you at 9:38 with the covered patio?
This one: czcams.com/video/kWxyRxdUEfM/video.html
The 240TKR. Hands down the most flex-function thing I've ever seen
No Winnebago Minnies or Micro Minnies?
I’m a huge fan of the Micro Minnie line. I have a 2306BHS.
The 2630mlrk would be a good candidate for this list.
Oh they're great but the list does focus on my picks for my personal use. Winnebago makes some great rigs but the specific things I myself seek out are usually better accomplished by other brands
How come you haven’t reviewed the Flagstaff MicroLight 25FBS? Pretty neat design for a couples trailer?
I probably have and you may not realize it. I think you’re referencing the 25FBDS which is the flagstaff number for the Rockwood 2518S you can see here m.czcams.com/video/dj91Y0B3CGk/video.html
I had the first review of it ever online. Enjoy
Thanks- yes that’s the one
I’m all about that alliance delta.
It's super good
Do your research. Don't just buy in on the marketing.
You should start including the frame making companies in the specs.
Nearly all towable RVs use Lippert frames. If it's something else, then I tend to point it out
I think lippert should hot dip galvanize those frames like boat trailers are done to eliminate any potential for rust.
At first, the Alliance Delta Trailers look nice and have some great solutions for storage and other things, but I have noticed, that Alliance might have a great customer service and are very responsive, but lots of complaints about the quality of the trailers. I am in several fb groups from different manufacturers and the Alliance Delta owners complain absolutely the most. There are many simple things that break within the first couple months of ownership or there are waterlines and electric wiring pinched. Screws ripping out of walls, awnings not working and the list is going on and on.
We were very interested in a 292RL but after joining some of the Alliance fb groups, we decided to stay put and wait for quality improvements from Alliance. Maybe after a couple years, they will have worked out some of their quality issues and we might consider them again. Good customer service is important, but simple things failing quickly is not a good reference for a quality brand, plus Alliance are very expensive comparing to similar floorplans.
I had the same experience with the 252rl, only in addition to reading the disgruntled owners complaints saw obvious issues on new trailers. Had a super deal on one, but don't want to deal with the problems. Oh, and our comments will probably be deleted. Wouldn't be the first time
I talked to a salesman from a dealership who dropped the contract with Alliance due to too many problems with their products and people were getting mad at the dealership instead of the manufacturer. They simply had enough. He told me several stories of things they had to deal with and I was convinced quickly, that Alliance isn’t my next trailer (unless the really improve their building quality).
I'm curious which groups you're in - not looking to argue or discredit you or anything but rather I like to get real feedback from owners.
What I've seen has been different in things like the alliance delta owners group. I've certainly seem some hiccups but usually I see a lot of resolutions as well
But perhaps I'm not seeing something?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Hi Josh, I have read comments on the Alliance Delta Owners and on the Alliance RV Owners groups (both groups will delete negative comments/critics/bad experiences as they please to always look good). I am in other brand groups (GD, Jayco, Coachmen Apex, Brinkley) as well and there is no other group complaining about their RVs as much as there are on the Alliance groups. I personally own a Coachmen Apex and sure, we had some minor issues with it, but nothing comparable to the problems some Delta owners have/had. Shelves coming down, random electrical outages, pinched waterlines, glass shattered, decals falling off, doors falling off, and so on. Lots of those things are constructional problems and it shows to me, that there is a need of quality improvements at Alliance. At first, when we visited the first Alliance Delta, a 292RL, we were highly impressed by the product, but after joining those groups, I have read so many bad comments, that we decided to stay away from the Delta trailers for now. The other reason was really the salesman of that former Alliance dealership, who told me various stories they had with Alliance. He confirmed that they are very responsive in helping to find a solution for any problems, but there were too many problems to tackle so the dealership terminated the contract with Alliance. Customers were complaining about the dealership for things, that were Alliance RV issues and it started hurting their reputation.
Bottom line for us is the point, that we have a travel trailer that is in great shape with no major issues so far (fingers crossed) and we are just too afraid to jump into the unknown and start having problems we shouldn't have with a new unit. Alliance Delta has some very nice solutions packed into their trailers and I hope, they will eventually resolve the problems right at the manufacturing point before the trailer leaves the plant.
Amazing selection. Some are a bit large for my taste. But if the camper is used for long-term living seasonally (snowbird or a summer out west), then big is good (up to the point it is too big for some parks). I do note that better building structurally is becoming the direction that builders are moving toward (or purchasers are demanding). Noted here in your video is the trend in "Fiberglass" roofing caps - a real plus in longevity.
I bought the Ember 191msl for many reasons. Narrow body; 7.5 feet wide, fiberglass body including the roof, giant storge room for all the "junk" we take camping - big enough, but small enough. Yes, the counter space is small and lacks a pantry, and we could use a closet instead of a shower (state parks have showers). But it best fits our needs, so *****'s to the Ember 191msl.
Delta alliance for me
Do your research first.
I have great respect for your opinion Josh, but I wouldn't even consider a Grand Design now with all the build quality issues they are having.
And that's perfectly fine. I don't censor the comments section and welcome people to share how they feel.
The records on things like Imagine are pretty excellent but I do also understand someone who feels a way about a company in general and respect it.
As always I'm simply sharing what I find and how I feel while welcoming others to share their views like you've done (and thank you btw)
What about the Salem View series?
Obviously super fun and I've got camera on all but one of them now (missing the 165VIEW from the FSX series)
That 24VIEW has had me thinking more than once. Just not sure if that's the route I'd go quite yet
Snow? You did not record this video yesterday right?
lol no I did not
I tend to batch record these and likely made it back in Feb

4:23 not to big not to samll 👍
👍🏻
Do you sell these? I’d love to give you my monies 💰 You’re videos have been so helpful 😊 🙏
I'm not in sales myself but our team carries all of these brands
@@JoshtheRVNerd but I TRUST you 😊
Well for me i would go with alliance for 2 reason there customer support and care after the sale is one of the best when things go wrong and they will have your back to fix the problem # 2 they build their trailers with the holding tanks full and road test them with full tanks no other manufacturer does that or will warranty it and # 3 they were the first manufacturer to take up the challenge of JD @ BTBRV r-v Star program where they improved the quality of buildi improved the reliability and improved the customer support
Don't drink the kool-aid. Just because they put out a video doesn't mean they do it. Look at the forums, do research. They claim the pdi every unit, we had $ down on a 252 rl but each had obvious slide issues that should have been easily caught in pdi but weren't. Pdi folks were either blind or it wasn't ever pdi'd.😂
They've been on a cycle of constant improvement for a while and earned my respect very quickly
Looked at 2 252rl's both with obvious slide issues. Quality and pdi wasn't apparent. Read the owner forums, do your research, don't fall for the marketing.
Appreciate you sharing
Josh......why do TT manufacturers where they have the spare on the back never use or hardly use a tire cover that is lockable made out of sturdy ABS plastic or fiberglass? Those chinzy vinyl covers are so 70-ish to me.
If I had to guess? Cost.
@@JoshtheRVNerd more than likely........but as a consumer, I rather have it rolled in the price and have better UV protection for my tire and a bit harder to steal than with a thin vinyl cover.
I would bet someone makes an aftermarket hard cover for tires. Maybe a half and half clam shell hinged on one side and latch/ lock on the opposite side of the tire. Surrounds the tire like "PacMan".
OK Josh we are getting close to buy time how do I get touch with you. Want to talk through some logistics so we are ready.
I'm not in sales myself and currently available for direct consultation - thankfully we have a whole team here for that at www.bishs.com/contact-us
@@JoshtheRVNerd Actually a consult at this point would be perfect. Logistics with a special order with a probable trade in and some of your experienced input. Fill out the contact form and ask for a consult with Uncle Josh?
Apologies as mentioned I'm not available for direct assistance currently. I'm piled up with work and also working thru some family health items and a recent death in the family just outside of work. I have to ask you to meet a member of our team and give them the opportunity to assist you right now
Sorry if I misunderstood the first message. Wish you and your family the best!
A 3-way with 3 cougars...that's actually a 4-way. But I'm not sure what that has to do with trailers.
Does your wife know about this?
If there is no TV viz from the can, I'm out.
Gots to be toilet tv certified
Why don’t show class A an B C only trailers do you sell other RV
If you meant why doesn’t he show other RV types, I agree. I’ve seen a few class B’s and C’s that would work for me, and I’d love to see more. 😊
I record what I can. The local stores where I spend most of my time simply don't have a large motorized presence so I tend not to have many available to me
@@JoshtheRVNerd - Hate to be I said so guy… but a month back you passed a class B that looked interesting and I asked why don’t you do any Class B’s? LOL! I get it, you must have a ton of videos just waiting to be edited and posted. Just curse at us and move on. 🤣
Depending on where I was it could've either been preowned or sold awaiting pickup. Hard to say
Well, no top 5 list is going to please everyone I think you did a good job. However, mediocre design does not deserve to have their products listed until they quit making their frames out of toothpicks.
Not a couple, just one of those weirdos. #NerdHerd
Solo travelers are a focus for these floor plans too!
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles well I am not solo have my dad with me. So two distinct sleeping areas is a key but I do love what Ember is doing. Built it good, people will come.
@@Jayhawk226 we have multiple floor plans to accommodate your style of camping! Thank you for your consideration!
To many, ummms for me. I'll pass
