Oh man, there's such good slow TV on CZcams! From cooking and eating channels (my favorite being DancingBacons,) to dudes just walking around different areas (again, my favorite being Rambalac) Thank you for talking about a subject I'm so passionate about!!!
Never realized there was a label for such tv programs and online streams/videos.
Love watching bird hatching/feeder streams on CZcams from time to time.

i never knew there was a term for this kind of broadcast but it's a deep and true love of mine. the fact that you featured "night walk" warmed my heart. they're on youtube and i put it on sometimes. its beauty comes from the toronto that doesn't exist anymore but also the cityTV that doesn't exist anymore. i think webcams are kind of a subgenre of their own -- i've been known to chill with the most boring stuff, like the "see transylvania" brasov, romania street webcam, the train crossing cams in revelstoke BC, and recently, everything the "webcamsdemexico" channel offers. i could probably talk about this stuff for hours.
My favourite one is one of a guy climbing a mountain in Spain or Andorra, and when he gets to the top he looks around for a bit, and then walks back down but it’s getting darker and when he gets to the bottom he drinks some tea.

You said that "there's only so many times the country can get excited about being featured on camera". Well actually NRK has now yearly summer-something. Three times with cruise along the coast, last year with a van that drove through fjords on the west coast, this year with one of the worlds oldest and biggest wooden sailing ships (that's also visited Shetland (part of Scotland, formerly Norwegian) on its tour along the Norwegian coast 😅). So we LOVE getting featured in their home village on camera ⛵🚤🛥️⛴️🌄🏞️ Greetings and love from Norway 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴

We would put on "DogTV" for my dog when we would leave the house because he would be calm and collected rather than intense and insane when we'd come home. I also see these slow TV channels as what I like to do, which is just put something on in the background while I do something. I listen to interrogations, people building things, etc.
I’m norwegian and i remember when nrk launchen the Hurtigruta minutt for minutt. All my friends and family was watching it, slow tv is huge here.
