I ordered this game from GMT as they are reprinting it... I cant wait to get it as I use to play Third Reich back in the days. Of all table top wargames, I am so psyched to get the time.
To conquer Poland you need to reduce their national will to zero (0). Each town is 2, capitol 4 and each destroyed full unit 1 point lost. You do not need to take all towns.
Enjoyed the video Gimpy. Was watching it while packing up Avalon Hill Panzerkrieg on a Sunday morning. How does this one compare to AH Third Reich? I have that one but it it’s tough to get on the table. Love it though
Also, I think the Polish unit in Warsaw could have taken a step loss and remained in Warsaw. You again missed the +2 Panzer modifier a second time. Also, I think you can move into an enemy ZOC on your advance after combat. All of this would have made a German victory much easier.
Non standard size counters are rare in today's games. Going back to many Avalon Hill titles it was a common occurrence. Not a big deal for me- your mileage may vary....
In this game shouldn't you have started setting the weather as fair and during combat the Germans would gain +2 for attacking a hex affected by fair weather?

I think you missed an extra +2 Panzer modifier on the first German attack. This would have probably changed the outcome of the scenario.

So you cant combine units to attack a single enemy unit? Ie two German armys against one polish?
My copy is mismatched also. Emailed GMT and was told its a problem with all counters :(

Can you do multiple attacks by the same unit ?
There's an online version of this game, but you can't do multiple attacks like that.
