I've been playing cheapo tabletop Mythic Commander for the last few months. So delighted to find digital wargame on Steam what has the same vibe. It's a addictive game and my favourite word "free"

If you also want a PC game that does tabletop style miniature skirmish battles with varied fantasy factions, I'd suggest checking out the Age Of Fear series. One is FREE - Age of Fear: Free World. It has a random campaign to run your fighting band through. The numbered games in the series also have tailor-made campaigns for a pair of factions each. It's an older indie game, but once you learn the mechanics and get going it is quite fun. The mechanics are fairly straightforward and there is in-game help and pop-ups for checking things like unit special abilities. Good variety of units with varied traits. 👍

What do you mean „the difference between BB2 and BB3 is not big enough“? The rules were completely changed, weren‘t they? BB uses the second season ruleset, right? I don‘t own BB3, so I am not sure.

Love this game, but I’m just curious why there wasn’t more miniatures only one of each that seems odd.

Re. Mythic-100% Satisfaction Guarantee. WTF! There are a lot of us who don't share this delusion?! I don't care if 6 Siege is the best game ever, my principles would not allow me to give anymore money to Mythic. They stole around £800 from me so they can f*** off!

No win situation on this. They only delivered half of the Darkest Dungeon board game. They then have started delivering part of 6:Siege using the money from this game to finish off making the second half of Darkest Dungeon. They are probably doing the sales on their website of 6:Siege to afford shipping for their their current Kickstarter customers. So many moving pieces and everything has to go just right but hopefully people that paid can get some of their games.

I have the original game here. Bought nearly 40 years ago. Nice to see it updated. But I found it hard to get my head around then.

Do two Half Infantry count as one Full Infantry, especially for Combined Arms purposes?

How easy is it to expand and increase your money supply 12 doesn't seem like much. You can see the cost of troops and 12 is like one full infantry and not even a Calvary. 12 isn't a lot given the cost of those troops and other things. I also don't see spending on turn order unless you have a lot of extra later in the game. I see parts of this game being things you will find yourself tightly limited and feeling that burn. Talk me out of it Gimpy Gamer. You played that game.

Amen brother! Paid for my 6:Siege from Mythic, refused to pay the extortion fee....and now they are selling MY game in retail. Never again with these thieves.

I'm stuck in Darkest Dungeon hell. At this point I'm just counting it as lost money and moving on. I got called out by King of Average for wishing Mythic all the best of luck getting cancer. I still wish that curse on them but other than that they aren't worth the time.

Sold out site studios because they never have anything in stock or im late to the game by a year and black site moved on and they dont support anything after they release it

Enemy Action was so good in so many ways, but that chit system drove me insane one too many times and I had to get rid of the game. I had some late-game mega-combat that involved pulling something like 13 chits and the net result was that nothing happened and my head popped a little bit and now my hats don't fit the same anymore.

Only half the rulebook is actually rules. Also, have you tried spraying a coat of Matt varnish on the plexiglass?

Sadly, even the advice you offer on protecting yourself doesn't always work. Level 99, DVG, and the notorious Valley Games (yay on D-Dice 1st edition, which went well, then screwed people on both Airborne in Your Pocket and Up Front) all went to pot for various reasons. So past success isn't a protection. I don't trust third party reviewers, because they receive prototypes that aren't final versions. A scammer can invest a little money into sending prototypes and collect money on the final product that they may never deliver. Funny this video appeared, because I just received a package that delivered for the Myth Journeyman miniatures that arrived 10 years too late. Another company bought the rights to the game and promised to fulfill the Kickstarter that the original company that tanked didn't produce. Ulisses Spiele are heroes. My practice is to simply wait and purchase the Kickstarter editions when they hit eBay or the other secondary markets. You pay a little more, but you avoid the wait and know you're getting something that's already available.

I heard a rumor that CMON just purchased all of Mythic Games including Darkest Dungeon and 6:Seige. Any truth to this?

Paypal saved my money on the Heroes of Normandie Pacific Kickstarter. Backed one from Flying Pig, a couple from Worthington OK. I have one out with Capsicum Games, Fighters of Europe currently, but it'll be the last one I back that is not from a trusted company like Flying Pig or Worthington. "Buyer Beware" is absolutely the watch word.

Can the miniatures be removed from their clear bases with the sticks on?

Got caught once, lost $300. I will never do another Kickstart. The real loser in the end, the real guys who have real Kickstarts.

As it stands I'm out of pocket by a not insubstantial amount of money courtesy of Mythic and their business practices. As it stands I don't expect to see anything from the KS I backed from Mythic. I would try to contact Kickstarter but they make it clear they won't get involved, despite the fact that numerous companies conduct themselves in ways that screw people over by attempting to spin plates. Mythic should be subject to prosecution in a court of law for fraud in my opinion and whatever else could be thrown at them.

I didn’t even know dungeon bowl was part of the game. I want to get into blood bowl and trying to decide between 2 or 3 and can’t seem to make up my mind. I’m leaning more toward 2 though.

Can you do multiple attacks by the same unit ? There's an online version of this game, but you can't do multiple attacks like that.

You can fit all the counters in 2 Cube4Me 20 compartment trays. 1 8mm thick and the other 15mm thick and fit all components in the box. With the lid closing completely. You'll even have some empty compartments to spare. I just finished clipping and sorting. perfect fit.

this one is going to be tough to swallow. I think I'll stick with TRL's Less Than 60 Miles/Dogs of War/etc.... I'll watch the You tuber's struggle and then probably sell this one. My life is too short to read 200 plus pages of rules for one game.
