In regards to the augmentations, Spartan 4s are more similar to space marines in that it involves a lot more fun new organs being put in then. Also, they are technically closer to cyborgs than the previous S2s and S3s
I mean they're ALL cyborgs even if you have a fake leg you're already a cyborg they're just MORE mechanically augmented. Further cyborged but every last one of them have all achieved cyborgdom already.
#powertrip I would be wearing the bleeding edge iron man armor and dead space foot stomp every chaos space marine just because i can. Literal just go to an alternate universe, cause some chaos and leave. Also i would open a donut making shop because the armor can make donuts.
#PowerTrip if I Spartan/Astartes power armor I would do backflips until the servos give in, then I would swan dive out of a spaceship, land head first on a mountain, survive and then finally be assassinated by a filthy xenos because I was a named character that decided to put their helmet on for the first time after training a younger named battle brother

#powertrip i would wear the stealth suit Mk2 from fallout new vegas because it makes me sneaky and gives me stim packs when i need it and also its a talking lady who doesn't disappear when i take my medicine
1:47:10 Gen 1 and Gen 3 Mjolnir is multiplicative in regards to how it responds to how strong the wearer is. Gen 2 instead just adds a set (large) improvement to the base use. Thus is kinda evens out the wearers, making S2s amd S4s both wearing it about the same.
Gen 3 is back to the old style as Halsey was the one designing it. Which can be seen in how am audio log in Infinite has an S4 being warned that they may hurt themselves by running at 50mph, while in the Shadow of Reach book chief runs 70mph with no issue... while having a chunk of his leg missing due to having been hit by plasma there
To add on as an explaination how this works, say this is an RPG where a Spartan 2 has a strength score of 20 while a Spartan 4's is like a 12. The Mk 6 Mjolnir armor is stated to give a x5 boost to strength, so the S2 would end up with a strength of 100 while the S4 would end up with 60.
Meanwhile gen 2 armor is a linear boost. So say it gives a straight +100 to the "Strength Stat". Now in Gen 2 armor an S2 would have 120 while the S4 would have 112. That is much much much closer in gap, thus why when both in Gen 2 Armor, Chief wasn't massively outclassing Locke
At least Infinite did one good lore thing of making the Gen 3 armor act and look more like the older Gen 1.

My armor would be the Nano suit from Crysis. I scream as loud as I can as I use the abilities of the suit MAXIMUM ARMOR, MAXIMUM STRENGTH, MAXIMUM SPEED, CLOAK ENGAGED, TACTICAL MODE and NANOVISION ACTIVATED.

I would wear the traditional power armor of a true space marine and obsessively troll the primaris via wearing the colors of the Lamenters and telling them the true meaning of what it means to be the poster child for the franchise. Let the slander and salt commence.

For all the travesty that is Halo 5, I will defend the scene where Locke and Chief fight. 1) it doesn't strike me as bs that one super soldier is capable of landing 1 or 2 decent hits on another and 2) maybe I read the scene wrong but it feels a lot more like John 117 is just trying to leave and doesn't want to hurt Locke. The moment he realizes he can't just walk past Locke and takes him seriously he kinda wipes the floor

Spartan 1s are basically gland troopers but better.
Spartans 2s are basically the ultimate super soldier. High tech gear and training.
Spartans 3 basically cheap but extremely highly trained super soldier. So highly trained that they constantly went to suicide missions expected not to come back. Yet some of them did. So they were put into binary death squad and still expected not to come back. Oh yea they had to use cheap armour with little to no high tech. Only the binary death squad got those.
Than there’s Gama company of the 3. Well they’re a whole different breed. One of them had a good chunk of their brain blown off by a plasma weaponry. She killed a whole army and lived.
Spartans 4 is a combination of 1, 2 and 3. They were recruited from veterans, design to be the optimal super soldier with high tech yet just cheap enough for mass production. Effective enough to slightly surpass Spartans 2 but not 3.
#powertrip i would wear the hellfire power armor from fallout and just reenact the kratos jump scene from god of war over and over while overdosing on jet, turbo and psycho.

I dont remember where it was said or who said it, i think it was the youtuber, Installation00, but the spartans could supposedly live to over 200 years to 400 years or so, i think this could mostly be done with cryo sleep, but its also said the spartans get stronger as they age. Any spartan 2 thats alive as of the time of halo infinite are 49 years old. And they are still strong as hell.
Funnily enough, I started a new playthrough of starfield for the first time since launch tonight.
The game isn't bad, honestly. The faction quests are cool & the combat actually feels good for a change in a Bethesda game

Gonna disagree hard with Colin on the Forerunners not being human. That was not a good retcon. 343 had to twist themselves into a pretzel to explain how they were different from humans, and every single reason they came up with was unbelievably dumb, on top of introducing new problems. They also, ironically, made the Covenant's goal to wipe out humanity for "being an affront to the gods" correct! There is just so much wrong with making the Forerunner not human I could go on for several hours on this topic, so I'd just suggest watching a video called "We Were Forerunner" as it goes over all the reasons for and against humans being Forerunners. The best one, in my opinion, is Mendicant Bias directly stating that humans were his creators. It's just so blatant.
The thing that makes the Spartan II program so f'ed up is the clones. Imagine you are a parent. Your Kid is insanely gifted. An IQ of 144, Extremely Athletic, Has to go to a special School because 2nd grade is too easy for them and is Solving quadratic equations at 7 years old. If you put any of the spartan II candidates on Terra in 40k they'd become a Custodian. That's how gifted your kid is. All of a sudden, they start acting wierd, They all of a sudden have super cancer aids. They're melting before your eyes. They die an early death. You think your child has been replaced with a clone and everyone thinks you're an Alex Jones nutjob and your family begins to resent you for it but you know that that thing wasn't your kid. That's what's so messed up about the program.

I'd wear some T-60 and just use it to walk around and do cosplay and social media stuff. It's the ultimate CONversation piece.
Also if the United States falls it'd be nice to have a shell of level 4 plate that lasts several hundred years to hide in😂

40k had 1 retcon recently that was 100% unnecessary, ham-fisted, and not at all for the fans. IYKYK.

Because hey if you imagine it 50 or 200 of them going against space marine chapter becomes what chapter it no longer exists because they've been wiped out. None of that writer they wipe out entire craft world b*******.
