Steam just pushed an update last night barring the sale of HellDivers2 for almost half the globe due to PSN Not being available in those countries. Also, most people simply refuse to make a PSN account due to them literally leaking information or being hacked 13 times since 2011... Also, some EU countries such as Ukraine arent allowed to make a PSN account without purchasing a PS5.

With all the videos from different creators coming out about HD2, you can really tell who understands what the ACTUAL problem is. Given how they quickly brushed over selling to regions without psn availability, I'm going to say, not the spawncast.
Well this one didn't age that well. I don't remember a situation quite like this before. It's very odd that the game would ever be sold in a country that couldn't qualify for a PSN login as it was supposed to be a requirement from the start. Seemed like some big miss communication from Sony to Steam

1. OJ is still crying over the backlash from his "joke". It wasn't a "joke". It was a snide remark towards a cast member that wasn't there. It was a cowardly bitch move.
2. They need to stop worrying about CoD going on Game Pass. 4 more studios have closed due to people not buying games. Good studios too like Tango Gameworks. Actual game sales is better than Game Pass MAUs.
3. Forget about Drake and Kendrick, is there a beef between RGT and Mystic? We never see them on together. 😂😂
The interesting thing about Sony's move with the PSN account is that it may be a bellwether for how willing they are to commit to PC ports in the future. If they can't get people to sign in to a PSN account that takes two minutes, for whatever reason, then they're never going to get people to download, install, and regularly use a hypothetical Sony Store launcher on PC.
They've accidentally created a hugely popular game, and it's not enough pull to even get people to enter an email address and password. This suggests that no amount of great first-party games exclusive to their launcher would entice PC gamers to get into their ecosystem.
If they can't become a platform holder of sorts on PC, and instead are just stuck forever paying Valve and Epic 20-30% to act as a third party vendor on PC, it probably makes a *substantial* difference to how they approach that market.
HD2 has the pull. That's apparent by the fact that more copies of the game have been sold on PC than on PS5. The problem is that Sony didn't make the account sign-up happen from day one. Even if you buy games on Steam, Ubisoft and EA and Microsoft all have their own account log-ins that you have to go through to the play their games on PC. No one really cares; PC gamers just create an account and log in. What Sony did was change HD2 in a major way after people purchased the game, and that rubs PC gamers the complete wrong way, especially since Sony knowingly sold the game to people in countries in which people can't create a PSN account. So, Sony took their money then said, "Oops. You can't play the game you purchased only a few months ago anymore."

Ok yall dont seem to understand why people are mad that Stellar Blade is censored, its because it was fasley advertised as being uncensored, and the double standard that Sony employs with its censorship policy. Its like going to buy a Phone that was said to come with a stylus included, has a 7 inch screen, they show all of that off to you, give you a demo phone to hold and use, you buy it and when you get it theres no Stylus included and they updated to software of the phone so that only 6.5 inches of the screen turn on and is usable. Is the phone still usable without the advertised features that are missing? Yes, but it would have been nice to have those features it showed off.

The people upset about Stellar Blade do not believe the devs when they say the outfits as shown in the day one patch version is what their vision was. That is a design choice not censorship.
Also, your analogy is a bit off. Even If you feel the devs are not being truthful, then this is more like if the Stylus was shown off being grey and it was released as blue instead. You haven't lost any functionality, the aesthetic has changed.

Suicide squad is failing not because of the DC universe or batman. They made it live service. Live service usually tells me the game was not designed with fun in mind. It was designed to make money first on top of my $70 i already paid. Then they have the fun come second. As someone who isn't big into DC idk the Suicide squad characters and don't have a lot of interest in them and it showed generic enemies and shooting mechanics for melee style characters. Then to hear about the repetitive missions and to get joker it's a massive grind. The game is not respecting the consumer and that is a big reason why it's failing. I would've played it if I saw more of a story aspect that made me very interested in the characters since I don't know them that much. Hell divers 2 has its live service but the gameplay is very fun and it wasn't a full $70.
Gotham city imposters could do well for the things you mentioned since it was already a shooter and designed by a team who does shooters too.
