- AmigaBill gets an exclusive first look at the new Commodore Amiga Game - Bean Vs The Animator. BvA is coming this summer to the Commodore Amiga. It is inspired by the classic arcade game Terminator 2: Judgement Day and even supports the new Sinden light gun. Watch AmigaBill blast his way out of the factory and into the streets in an effort to save the human race from the robot overlords. BvA will work on OCS and AGA Amigas with 1MB of Chip RAM and 512K of Fast RAM - ECS chipset and above, or OSC with fatter Agnus. There are 6 levels and the same can be played with 2 simultaneous players.

This looks very slick Bill, I love it. And built in Sinden support, that's a great bonus for owners. Great review
Thanks RMC! I am really excited for the Sinden and the game. It will be a great WAUG party game!
This is really a great review! Btw I really appreciate your goodie bags for Patreons!
This is so great to hear Andreas. I am so happy that you like them and your support truly means a lot to me. The AmigaBill Goodie Bag I sent out today has a new and improved version of this demo!
@@TheGuruMeditation Awesome!
First boss looks like the war robot from the movie "Judge Dredd" with Sly...
OH yeah, totally! I thought it looked familiar. You are right.
You are right! He is from the ABC Warriors. The robots name was Hammerstein in the 2000AD comics. I don't think they named him in the movie.
Good to see new stuff coming out for our old favorite computer! And that light gun that works with LCD monitors should be very popular. I'm surprised the big boys (Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft) haven't already come out with their own considering how 99% of their customers play their games nowadays!
That is a great point JW3HH. I am surprised there aren't more modern light guns made by the pros as well
@@TheGuruMeditation Now that I think of it, the Nintendo Wii controller is sort of capable of this sort of thing but it works on an entirely different principle I believe. But yeah, they could do it if they were motivated to. I guess there just isn't that much demand for light gun games for the modern systems. _Or is there?_
A modern twist on Amos Alley
Very cool will have to pick this up. Very cool video. I have a 500 1 meg and an amiga 1000 2 meg starboard or whatever its called. I enjoy your videos long live the Amiga. Cheers Flash
Cheers Flash. I really appreciate the kind words! I am excited for this too. It would be amazing if someone comes up with a way to use the gun with a real Amiga
Fantastic Bill
Thanks Stuart! You rock!
Great there is new software out! Unfortunately I've seen too many shooters, so not for me, but nice!
Yeah shooters are the most popular, but there are some good puzzle and strategy ones that have come out too. Check out Matchic and the upcoming Slayers of High Toro. Slayers is really unique. I had interviewed the developer on my Twitch a couple of weeks ago
@@TheGuruMeditation Thanks a lot, will do!
Ace review Bill. I will be getting a copy of that when it comes out!
Thanks Graham! It will be a fun one - especially with the gun
@@TheGuruMeditation Do you have any idea what the price of the gun will be when the initial backers have had theirs?
Certainly wish someone would revamp the O.S. into something modern. Would be great to have a PC with an Amiga OS that could compete with windows 10, linux and even mac.
Me too, but I don't ever see that happening realistically. It just takes too many resources to get an OS to that level. But the cool thing is customizing the classic OS to your liking and experiencing all the new software and hardware that is breathing life back into the Amiga
That sunblock guy looks like Robert Z'Dar, 80s schlock movie guy
Ha ha! That is one of the developers - Speccy Nostalgia
The Maniac cop himself!
Amiga forever!!!
Whooo!
T h i s I s S o C o o l ! I'm on the list for the recoil upgrade. I imagine you'll be adding one or why not 2 recoil upgrades to the AmigaBill lounge. Oh man.
Nice Andy! This light gun looks sweet!
Looks the bee's knee!! Can not wait! 👌🙏🙏
you will enjoy it Roar!
Hi guys. does anyone know anything about the new Buffee card? Thanks for everything you do for Amiga fans.
Yeah it looks really cool. Here is more info: www.buffee.ca/home/
Great arcade game to play with the light gun on a large screen tv when friends are over for a party or bbq. Would be a blast to play in 2 player simultaneous mode. Will it have any 2 player options?
Never mind just read your description. Perfect!
@@ZeusBike333 You are right. This will rock at Amiga and retro game parties!
Howdy any thoughts on the new RGB to HDMI convertor for the A500?
Is there some place where I can check out what games have been released for Amiga in recent years (and possibly where to buy them)? Primarily looking for big box releases. I can’t seem to find a list where I can search by release year.
Your best bet is Predseda's list on Lemon Amiga www.lemonamiga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17423
@@TheGuruMeditation That’s perfect! Thank you! Can’t believe I didn’t see that thread :)
@@LasseDamgaard My pleasure!
Who uses a 020 or less nower days you need at least some fast ram and a 020 at least I reckon 🙂
There are still a lot of folks rocking a 1MB 500. I guess it just depends on what you want to develop for. These guys already fixed the 030 timing issue and sent me an update!
Why did you delete my comment about the Ultimarc AimTrak lightgun? Do you think I have some sort of commercial tie-in with them?
👍🐸👍
Thanks Superfrog!
Have you written this game yourself ?
No it is written by 17BitRetro and Speccy Nostalgia. They made this special AmigaBill demo for me to play and stream
This game contains so much stolen content - the flying 'planes' are hunter seekers from the T2 arcade game, the loading screen robot is an ABC warrior from Dredd and more.
