- Toys R Us Closing Boardman, OH. This store, located near the Southern Park Mall is in the Youngstown suburb of Boardman. Nice old store. Sad to see it going.

Omg. It has been since I was a kid when I was in this store. That old school entrance is so retro but cool.
I live by this toys r us, it’s gonna be so weird without it there. I used to go there all the time. Pet co next door closed and reopened twice but toys r us was always there.
Holy shit that store is empty and all those boxes but all those fixtures left they might just pack up and leave and also the 80's exterior is amazing

The rumor is the last official day for all the stores is June 30th. I noticed when you scan items on the price scanner, all items say sale ends 6/30/18

Great video, this Toys-R-Us is in my home town and ditto another comment that the Petco was a Kids-R-Us and was vacant for a while, and the street sign frame with Petco was the one utilized for Kids-R-US.....Congratulations on you meeting on a beautiful looking lady, I hope the best for you guys :)

I thought that was a Kids R Us. It sure looked like one and when I was going to the Boardman area when I was a kid I distinctly remember there being a Kids R Us. So that makes sense. And thank you! Maura is a dream come true!

Some Duracell batteries were available at Toys "R" Us in Youngstown/Boardman, Ohio in 2018.
My brother and I were at that one a couple days ago. Yeah I was surprised by closed off isles too. I did manage to buy some power ranger tamashii buddies for a great price.
I am so happy for both of you. Wallie was sad for awhile.
Tammy Goulet Schrader I got over the whole thing after while and began focusing on myself and what I enjoy doing including CZcams, bowling, etc. It made me realize I have a lot going for me and my friends all help. While I wasnt even looking for a special someone and was just focusing on everyday life being great, Maura came out of nowhere and surprised me. My world has already been bright. She just made it brighter.

To see so many businesses closing in my hometown makes my heart hurt. I left 2 years ago but I love my city still.
The TOYS R US in Clay, NY just outside of Syracuse that Ace's Adventures filmed also has that same retro old school front logo. It's incredible to hear about how ALL TOYS R US are going out of business and down the tubes. They'll all soon be defunct. That's for sure.

I saw that picture of Geoffrey crying on the sign outside the store and started crying. It was my favorite place to go as a kid. Now, I'm a 20 year old crying about a cartoon giraffe.
One thing to point out that the PETCO was formerly a KIDS "R' US until 2004.
This is so sad... i visited this location years ago... It looked just like the location that was near Euclid Square Mall. There's very few locations that still have a store front like this.

This is my local store. I took my kids a few weeks back and let them each pick out a toy. I remember going to this same store as a kid and spending my Christmas and birthday money, and I wanted them to have the same experience

Awesome video Wallie and I think that Toys R US days are numbers. Someone needs to preserve as much of that vintage signage, get the exterior into a museum like the Smithsonian and some of the signs. Looks like that store has not been remodeled since the 80s.
And I'm glad Maura has joined you on your adventures. Her positive attitude brightens your work and your life. Maura is a purrfect companion for the fun, heartfelt touches you bring to your work.

That TRU that you just filmed in Ohio is on the same 2nd wave of closures nation wide that the TRU that I work at here in Midland, Texas is closing as well. Our final day is June 27th. Our store looks exactly the same with all of the back aisles empty and tapped off. Everything is being pushed to the middle and front ends. Mostly where the Imaginarium & Legos used to be located. They also have the same augmented toys & stuff that we have as well in our store. It’s so sad to see all TRU closing real soon.

Aj Slays it was just as heartbreaking to film it honestly. I hate witnessing another part of my childhood going away. I'm just glad I could get one last look inside so we can remember it long after the store is gone.
So crazy how much is gone! I was in there the first week they marked stuff down and the sales floor was still pretty full! They’ve sold a lot! I was just in the babies r us in Boardman last week and the lady working said the end of the month they close 💔💔

Clark McKee thank you! Our chemistry has been unreal. It's amazing how alike we are. I must say I love that she likes to join me on my adventures. It wasnt as much fun when I was doing them alone. Other times, when I film with Aces Adventures and Nate, they're fun as hell! But now I have that special someone to join me whenever she likes!
