UE5 - CC4 to Metahuman. Applying the CC4 texture to the Metahuman character - Metahuman Plugin

CC4 character textures can now be applied to metahuman characters. In the example video, after creating a metahuman using the head of the character I created with the headshot as a reference, I will apply the texture of the same character to the metahuman character.

Thank you so much for this very important video. It shows how much different Metahuman characters are from CC4 characters. And, in my opinion, they are not much better than CC4 (Character Creator 4) characters. Therefore, in terms of customizability, I will stick to CC4 other than metahumans. Thanks again for comparison, it is way more clear for me now.

Question ! Can I then import it from UE into CC4 to edit the body? Will there be significant losses in textures?

Hello, Unfortunately. This process does not change the Metahuman body. You must make the body change using the metahuman creator.

This is fantastic! Thank you for sharing. One question, is it possible to edit the mesh at all once we have ran through all of the steps? I’ve noticed the metahuman head is a bit different than the CC4 head when I drag my initial CC4 skeleton in next to my metahuman. Just wanted to see if we can edit mesh details. Thanks again! Cheers

You can make edits on the metahuman character creation page. This action only applies the CC4 texture to the matehuman character.

Hi, download the new metahuman kit from RL site and copy the kit contents to your project after adding the Metahuman character.

@@Yepkoo still not seeing that option. but I find that I can't see export head of male option in my cc. are you using cc4.3?

CC karakterlerini özelleştirmek için karakter başına ödeme yapmanız gerekir.
RL kaynağından aldığım bilgiye göre;
MetaHumans'taki yüz animasyonları, 700'den fazla kafa kemiği ve 600'den fazla morf tarafından yönlendirilir.
Karakter Oluşturucu'daki yüz animasyonları 140'tan fazla morf tarafından yönlendirilir.
Ayrıca metahuman doku kaliteleri biraz daha iyi olabilir.
Ancak CC karakterleri de oldukça kaliteli ve çok iyi yüz morflarına sahip.
CC karakterlerini çok daha fazla özelleştirebilirsiniz.
Animasyon uygulamak daha kolaydır.
Açıkcası bu tamamen tercih meselesi.
