Who is here after Omanyala has qualified for the semi finals in tokyo
I hope he goes all the way to the final. He needs at least a sub 10 to have a solid chance to make it to the finals.
The joy on the faces of these two male athletes and the happiness for each other is just a pleasure to see.
The guy clearly has power he just needs to work on his start and cruising technique and he can comfortable do a sub 9.8
Sub 9.8 is a bit of a stretch. Definitely Sub-10 though. Solid sprinter
@@khafail6902 they'll need a sub 9.8 to beat the stacked US team
@@joober9 Very true
@@joober9 remember attitudes differ this is in Kenya wat of in us ????
Wacha wenye mbio waongelee mbio🤣🤣🤣
The guy in red can do more than what he has done,he has good steps..👍👍👍
Nigeria and Kenya lighting things up. Can you imagine the South African men's Trials sprints?
More Kenyans will now come out to break records
Congrats my training mate Ferdinand omanyala ,keep shining bro
All the best team Kenya I pray they stay healthy and no injuries occur for the time remaining at the Olymipics
Congratulations to Omanyala and Otieno. Indeed you and your training teams have put in the work, may God bless you as you continue to train and in the olympics.
Mahn am so happy for these guys and wishing them all the best in their careers, more sponsorships and all
Great that otieno also has a 10.0
All these guys should represent team Kenya is 4 x 100 metres
You got jokes
Our camera coverage is still in dire need of upgrade. You cannot even see the competitors clearly coz they shoot from a long distance and the zooming is so poor. Borrow a leaf from DStv and invest more on training and proper equipment to bring up quality coverage.
Been closely following. Much better than the Nigerian trials though. It is horrendous.
Try Nigerian and jamaican trials and you will know we are way better
I thought it's a phone camera
@@davidgathaka1383 i think for us to go far, we should be gauging ourselves with developed countries and as well journalism companies and not satisfied with where we are because of some countries that are satisfied with substandard coverage
The commentary too is bogus....
what a show from the two can't wait for the Olympics
Huko hawatawezana
Big up to odibates for discovering the talented Omanyala
This was an exciting race. It's nice seeing people battling it out neck to neck.
I'm so proud of them, They have entered the history books...It will be interesting seeing them run alongside Andre De Grasse, Yohan Blake, Akani Simbine, Gatlin...wow I can't wait!
There's a new dangerous guy called Terrence Laired from USA...it will really be so big
I see...what about Christian Coleman?
Gatlin has not made team USA
Gatlin wont be there but Trayvon Bromell, Ronnie Baker and kerley all ran at 9.8
I can't forget Lumwachi Kevin and Sambwani Brian in Musingu rugby.
Those two could beat the race.
The commentary during the sprint: "There you go, wow, wow".
Honestly we didn't know the 2 front runners until well after the race ended. 🤦🏿♂️
Kenyan commentators need work. Wanaongelea Jamaica's Bolt na Frazer-Price instead of the people racing
I see you also noticed the inept reporting on this epic race. Please read my comment under "Rahim Ali". Not just this race but other epic races like 10k. We need sports journalists and not reporters calling these races
lmaoo 💀💀
They are use to these races, they are too fast for them to commentate. They are use to the long distance.
😂😂😂
Everyday they give us the BS of wind aid , This man is great 👊
So you dismiss wind aid?? Ignorant track fan!
@@MrTrackman100 so the wind is selective on who aid, am sure you have never been in any serious competition. Go to Kasarani and check the fastest time by a 14-year-old .check the name then come for some common sense lecture nincompoop
You silly clueless casual lol
It's a disgrace not giving athletes a second chance.. don't we as humans believe in second chances as a core philosophy? These top athletes get very little support or money and then to have your Olympic dream taken away without even having the chance is beyond criminal..
With out a chance? So they weren't on the starting blocks prior to the gun shot? It's called rules of competition. Disappointing yes, unfair or criminal no. Grown ups only need to apply, so it would have been better if they just let the race continue on the false starters start of the race? Or just let the false starters stay in the race? Starting before the gun is cheating. So your for the cheaters? Come on man.
@@mec4lifesmiley700 You were obviously never a sprinter. One strike and your out is a joke. This rule is relatively new. You can't cheat the gun bud. Even a twitch will give a read..
Teso people in the house 🥂? Omanyala anawakilisha, emuria kiliae!
Yeah, they go, they go. Wow, wow.
At least this time round, Kenya 🇰🇪 will have muscular men in its team in the Olympic Games💪💪💪💪💪...!!
😁😁
🤣🤣🤣
This is great timing. Thumps up for a great challenge.
congrats guys
Omanyala and Mark Otieno this two walifaa kuenda olypics penda Nyinyi sana na barikiweni sana
I think this guy with proper conditioning he can do a sub 9.80.This is talent if only those incharge can take him there
I love this guy 🤗🤗🔥🔥definitely I wish her good luck
Him😅
They need a race at sea level...with a better first half.. start and acceleration he could go under 10s...Otieno better terminal speed to go below 10s...congratulations to the duo...
this is great..congratulations guys!
That's great work
Congratulations mr omanyala mr kenya
That was awesome
All the best at tyo.hope Kenyan win a medal in sprints.
Mark otieno is a beast too
Waiting to see our boys Vs big boys
The world record is at 9.58.....avoid alcohol, women and do extra long strides you will surely bit the 2009 Husein Bolt's record...go kenya goooò🇰🇪🇰🇪
He's also packed with muscle in the upper body. If he gets leaner, he'll shave off microseconds too
Bolt didn't avoid women... so if he did, the record would be at 9.30... It takes much more... lolol
Omanyala direct to Olympic
Go Kenya
The Olympics will be lit with this two they've always said kenya is only good In long distance races but time is up to prove them wrong that Usain bolt was a kenyan.

that is great
He can run less than 9 sec if serious
The only man waiting to break Usain Bolt record 🔥
Impossible, not only for him but any other clean athlete.
You're joking.Even on steroids nobody can go that low.
🤣🤣🤣 cocaine is a hell of a drug
Also there's kids at LSU running faster than that.

Congratulations to Kenyans representing us
Those reporters cracked me up
Yohan Blake......GO JAMAICA GO
I'm happy for these guys. Omanyala and Otieno, mashemeji.
Noma man
So encouraging. For the first time we have athletes who can speak good English
Haha, that's cheeky
Hahaa
Very strong running,,,that was superb. Omanyala still needs to work on starting otherwise very happy for them
True coz he has the height disadvantage picking up could be an issue. Bold had the same issue but what helped him was his long strides.
Yea sure, wishing him well. Having qualified is a big achievement too
The start was a bit shaky but I think if he nails it - sub 10 times are awaiting them.
Tabia za wakenya...on your mark...set..ngoja ngoja...iko mtu amekimbia mbele😊
Omanyala representing Iteso community, proud of you

Lock these two in Kisumu training camp or Mombasa where there's high humidity. No women No alcohol No bulshit until Olympics and believe me these people will win. Bolt better bolt up.
Bolt is retired 😭😭😭😂😂
"There you go. There you go. Wow. Wow". Really that's the commentary during the race?
That’s real power
💀💀💀💀
"hehahahhehahhahaha"
Makes everything so boring
HAHAHAHAHAHAAH
great
Why do we have run of the mill journalists calling these races instead of real sports journalists to give perspective on the races in comparison to other global records run in the 100m. They focused more on how Omanyala and Otieno got along instead of the feat they accomplished and give us more perspective in respect to times run globally. The lady journalist could not say much besides how well they get along and how Omanyala is joyous guy or a show man. In sports its normal for athletes to show respect to one another is part of sportmanship. But she seems shocked.
Tell them to hire me. Lol
Maybe I should cover these on my CZcams channel
Welcome neighbour 💓💓much love .
I am so, so happy to see this, I can't wait for the Afrikan continent to live up to its potential, that they stop the migration to other countries, we have entertainment, we don't need to continue to beg and leave the mother country to be treated so badly. Omanyala, Otieno, beautiful legitimate names, we have a long hard road ahead, even someone with the respect that his life was lived, he two had the blind self worthlessness to take a name from the very people he spent most of his life in a jail for wanting freedom in his home, yes, Nelson, Mandela, Mandela is authentic but what is Nelson.
my brother
Otieno is the man to watch
Flexibility it's just woow
Kwani mlirecord hii video na tochi
Me and mark Otieno we were training together 2015 and 2016 at that time he was under 10:78sec and today still 10:05sec so six years of hardworking and training I wish him to kick under 9sec
Also I don’t see Dennis,Gilbert and other teammates
Under coach Peter. Pangani na Kasarani. What a time. Congratulations to Mark and Omanyala.
Usain Bolt's world record stands at 9:58, bro all you have to do is shave off 6 seconds and you are the new world record holder. Kenya is behind you 100%, don't give up.
Boss !six seconds in 100m. Its actually 0.6 seconds. The difference between the first and second is actually always some milliseconds
Maths seems to be too fast for you to catch :-)
We wish him the best...but running 9.7 itself is no joke
Let’s see him run 9.9 first before talking about any records
I got an E in KCPE in maths. The fact that I can count should be a miracle in itself, muachane na mimi!
If he gets a world class sprint coach he could go much faster.
The commentators have no clue. Wanawatch tu kama sisi
Thats kenya for you
There was almost no time between set and the gun. Is that how they do it? Might have messed some people up
the two men are very good they only need more field training
Does Kenya TV use cell phone cameras?
when was this. Its says 2020 olympic trials.
They just insist on calling it "2020 Olympics". This happened now, just dont pay attention to that lol
Knock had denied Omanyala who had qualified for Olympics in a race he ran in Nigeria citing they were not involved. He does it for second time
All the two have a chance to beat Bolt world record.
Nothing last forever. All the best to all the runners. Look at those muscles
10.03 lol, let them hit 9.70 first them we can talk about them beating Bolt's record
Bolt is a freak of nature... it will take years to beat that record buddy.
@@penninandengu1041 he now has 9.77 what do you have to say
@@davidgathaka1383 I said let him run 9.70 first so we talk about his potential of braking 9.58, still got a long way to go.
Hallelujaàaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Charismaticful🤔🤔
"The hundred metres is always full of drama and it's always dramatic"...our commentators need to be serious...
Congratulations to our very own Omanyala
I definitely can do a better job commenting that this. These two guys are going places..Let them get that exposure first.
Congrats Bro
The government should sponsor them to either US or Jamaica to sharpen their techniques before the Olympics...
Not the US the first minute they get there they will start taking drugs. Over here in the UK is more suitable
Or better get the coaches from.there to here.
What kinda commentators are this....ati wow...wow... 😃
Surely the commentators seem mostly clueless on the sport. They are really struggling. They should have put comentators who are more conversant with the background of men’s 100M & Olympic Trials. anyway all the best to Omanyala. This guy has a great future!!
So true. they are reporters and not sports journalists. Kenya media need to have sport journalists giving us commentary on athletics sports. The woman commentator was just mesmerized by the friendship of Omanyala and Otieno instead of giving us a breakdown on the running visa vi in comparison to world standards.
The hardest part begins. Otieno is great at the start but looses power towards the line. He should work on that. Maintaining the power. Congratulations to the duo
True. His start is great and even the way he runs. If he trains on maintaining that power he'll be lethal on the track in Tokyo.
bana quality yenu ya camera bado ni ya kbc 2010
He should work on his transition from takeoff to cruise. Transitioned late, cruise technic needs some work too otherwise that was a good race
He’s too heavy...he needs to slim up about 20lbs
A okk
