When you spoke Greek I lost it.
For the first time I felt I could hear your _real_ voice😆
When you said έχω ζήσει στην Ελλάδα τέσσερα χρόνια, that was a native pronunciation right there

Good video with nice people! 🥰
I have the same problem as Luca, one of my polyglot heroes, I learned Portuguese from Portugal (my 6th foreign language!) but I did not decide which version I had to learn. My company had a subsidiary in Lisbon, so I learnt the Euroversion (muito chato, mas eu adoro!) and it helped me finally to improve the communication with my Portuguese colleagues, as well as make good Brazilian and Portuguese friends that brought me happiness to my life, including my wife! ❤🇧🇷🇵🇹

Luca is amazing!🤩 As a native Polish speaker I am wowed ! Loved hearing Russian and Spanish (two languages I am learning and intermediate in now). What is amazing is how Luca can switch from language to language so naturally. I can do it only with my two native languages English/Polish. Seeing it done across so many languages is freaky !!! 😮

OMG! This Italian guy doesn’t speak several languages, he summons each native speaker spirit and starts talking! 😱

Yeah, having a significant other (or the prospect of it) does provide a motivation for learning a language and in most cases practice opportunities as well.

Except for Greek and Polish I could get the gist in the other languages (Ok. German is my native language, so that's a joker). I hope I could speak half as fluent as you sometime 🙂. Keep up the good work!

I just picked up Dutch to around B1 level very quickly. Whenever I'm searching a word, I substitute German with Dutch pronunciation and I'm generally understood. I'm living in America, but if I lived close enough to travel frequently to the Benelux countries, I'm sure I'd be fine. With German, you could stretch a bit to Dutch, Yiddish, Swedish, Norwegian, Luxembourgish (?), Icelandic (probably the hardest) and Afrikaans and possibly a few other lesser known languages. Within the same family, it's easy to move around.
