Filipino here too, but I’m more exposed to Brazilians. First time for me to hear Angolan Portuguese, but it does sound clearer to me. I also speak Spanish.

@@terciodeoliveira9534 pretty minimally. Cantonese and mandarin are much bigger there. I wouldn't advise going there with just an understanding of Portuguese and thinking you can get by

Aqui na Bahia a gente tem o "vazar" que significa sair ou saiu. Por exemplo: vou vazar daqui, ele vazou faz tempo.
Se você trocar o "V" pelo "B" fica a palavra "Bazar" do vídeo, haha.

Estava procurando esse comentário... sou de São Paulo e aqui também usamos essa palavra... sempre fiquei na dúvida como o verbo "vazar" teria relação com o ato de "sair fora"/"sumir"/"dar no pé"... creio que agora achei a resposta...
Então vós escreveis essa palavra com o v. Eu uso o vós em vez do vocês. Singularidades ou peculiaridades do português do norte.
Em Portugal é mais comum falar bazar e também mais comum falar cobarde com b , eu sei que no Brasil é mais comum falar covarde com v

I'm Brazilian and I could see very similarities with Brazil's Portuguese.
Tão interessante, brasileiros (especialmente nordestinos da costa leste) conseguem ver coisas muito semelhantes em ambos, principalmente com Angola, por causa da época da colonização. Nossas gírias refletem muito isso, muitas coisas que o Gerson falou a gente usa aqui.
O mundo lusófono é uma grande família espalhada pelo mundo mano .
Estamos todos ligados de alguma forma.

Eu se ouvir um locutor Angolano ou Cabo-verdiano na Rádio em 90% dos casos não consigo distinguir se é ou não português. Tem zero semelhança com o brasileiro.
@@miguellemos4669 meu deus o povo fala mto diferente do q locutores de tv, eles usam o portugues "correto", n tem mais nada do sotaque angolano. o portugues angolano tem mto mais semelhanca com o pt brasileiro, prinicpalmente do nordeste e até do rio, pelo influxo de escravos principalmente do territorio angolano/congoles. o brasil é mto diverso n seja ignorante.

@@miguellemos4669 O portgues angolano tem semelhança(eu nao to diezndo q é igual) com o brasileiro por terem sofrido influencias pelas mesmas linguas, principalmente do kikongo, kimbundu e do umbundu. parece mais com o sotaque nordestino e carioca pq a maioria dos escarvos da africa central desembarcaram nessas regioes brasileiras. da pra ouvir bastante a influencia dessas linguas no pt carioca. sim, brasileiros como vc sao ingorantes pra caramba sim. o brasil é um pais gigante com varias influencias de culturas e povos diversos, mais as regioes inflenciadas pelos povos africanos da pra ouvir mtas coisas parecidas na intonaçao (to falando das linguas angolanas ingigenas mesmo nao do pt angolano q é quase igual ao pt pt por ter sido colonia portuguesa até 1975).
Aquela alegria ao notar que entendi eles falando tanto em Inglês quanto em Português.

MACAU, Portuguese city in China for 500+ years 17 miles west of Hong Kong, They speak Macanese, it's a mixture, Older ppl in Macau still speak Portuguese.
It would be interesting to compare the Portuguese spoken here in Mozambique to Portugal. I think we are similar to Angola but I can hear some differences too

I enjoy watching your videos. I'm Canadian. My parents immigrated here from the Azores and I learned conversational Portuguese from them growing up. I've never had formal Portuguese lessons, but I enjoy practicing my comprehension skills listening to your videos. I'd say that I understand about 90% of the conversations that you have with your guests, however I wouldn't be able to speak Portuguese with such a high level of proficiency. Keep up the great work producing these videos. They're much appreciated.
