@@Quentinm97 so far so good. Feel about like racelands but better build quality. They're stiff af when it's cold out but in the warmer weather they feel great.

I can't vouch for the longevity yet. But the quality is staggering for being so inexpensive. So far the k04 turbo from maxpeedingrods is holding 20 psi excellent.

So far so good. I'm on a 06atechnik tune. 24psi spike 20 hold and I've got almost 3500 miles on the maxpeedingrods k04. It rips. Probably somewhere around 230whp and 260tq

Im curious: When you lowered the car with the coilovers, did your axle hit the sway bar. This seems to be an issue with lowering the mk4 at a certain point.
Came here for the same thing. I want to lower mine but it’s a pain to put in the sway bar.
@barolecaskin8673 i just installed coilovers on the mk4 a week ago and took the chance. As long as you dont go to low of a setting the sway bar will not hit.

Are these coilovers for lowering only? I want to keep mine stock height but run these coilovers. The max speed site doesn't list that info
Why would you do that?😂 your oem struts and springs are better built, better ride quality, better everything. The only purpose of buying coilovers is to lower your car and these are the absolute worst ones you can buy. A set of coils will run you 500-1500. MaxRods are the clapped mk4, civic guy coils.
If something happened to your stock struts or springs just get new oem ones. Or a cup kit.
What diverter valve is in that golf
how are the dampers? Cause im going to slam it on this but scared that the dampers are way to soft to run static with these?

And the 1.8t stage 2 tune from these guys. It's 300$ if you supply a ecu and 400$ if they supply the ecu. It's got a ton of features for the money and it pulls hard.

Cameron LaCombe it’s my car. I have the yellow spring in and both washers. But the blue spring with both washers seemed fine. Holding all of the boost.

Don williams just a 3” turbo back from amazon with a pypes m80 muffler at the rear. It was probably less than 300$ total

What tune was it running
DONT get spacers ul ruin ur handling you have a scrub radius set up on the car designed from its factory suspension you push you wheels outwards your level of grip decreases may look good but it isnt functional looking straight is u need to do abit of research on VAG wheels and tyres to get the offset and camber cock on to maximise tyre grip and cornering speed iv already done mine 18 inch is your best bet 225 adjustable drop links stiffer TT sway bar bottom arms n tie rods and hubs I could corner at 68mph on a corner in my city now I can nearly hit 80 mph on that corner I had spacers on mine and it skipped under harsh long corners I haven't got mine corner weighted yet but that transforms the car
How big were your spacers?
@@muntadherrashid7236 I had 25 mm they looked stupid so I got 15mm hubcentric H&R and although it feels great doing the work thinking it will be better in the corners but numbers dont lie and my bearings went 1 by 1 after I pushed the car on the limit in corners

@@muntadherrashid7236 I'd be suprised if 10 mm makes any difference really so u should be ok I increased my wheel size but made sure the scrub radius was as close to factory as possible unless you reworked the whole suspension set up from scratch dont change whats engineered for the car in the 1st place
Debating on if I should get these or some Raceland coilovers🤔 do you know what exhaust he has on his car?
I've had both. I prefer these over raceland. The exhaust is a generic 3inch turbo back with a pypes m80 muffler at the end.

And that is the muffler I used in place of the huge muffler at the end of the exhaust.

sanchez those are the factory jetta wheels. Also known as long beaches. 17x7 with a 5x100 lug pattern.
