Love this painting. It was fun adding phthalo blue to background too. Yesterday I did a practice run and got stuck halfway...lol.
I painted over it then sanded it to start fresh and finished today with happy results. Thank you!

Now how does learning sour dough bread compare with learning your roses lol....on par I reckon but painting is more fun. By the way this one is one of my favourites, the background is so beautiful with the roses. You had to journey through all your colour/painting experience to be the the master artist you are now.

I have spent many hours trying to paint a rose and I am probably going to have a nervous breakdown over it lol, yours are beautiful and you just make it look so easy. I won’t give up though I know I will get it sooner or later, love your videos ..

Oh no, sorry I wasn't the first to see your picture. But it's okay, I really like this rose painting, it's so beautiful and amazing. The color of the flower is a bit musical, but it is enough for everyone to know that this is a rose. Can this be considered an abstract work?

@@JansenArtEducation Are there alternatives to the two added colors? It would be nice to use the paints I already have. Most artists I follow and subscribe to give color lists you can get anywhere and not have to spend extra money, especially these days. Thank you
