Your peony painting in a brass pitcher is absolutely beautiful. It amazed me how you just added one fast stroke to the handle and this worked out so well. The brass does shine with the tones and colors you painted and the peonies are lovely with the many strokes you experimented with. I like all of the playful green leaves around your flowers which add a pretty decorative touch. Even the bottom of the antique pitcher looks just like the reference photo and this to me seemed like a more complex subject!

Thank you for your excellent explanation of the steps. I have gold and silver paints.I would love to see a video using those for metal painting.
Just replace the yellow such as Yellow Oxide with the gold or better yet, mix a little gold into the yellows to give that spark! you could mix the silver in the blue to greys.
