Davis’s flowers are among the prettiest I’ve seen and he’s so thorough and generous with his knowledge and techniques. Even though I paint in oils, I find his tutorials immensely helpful.

Interesting . Today, 5th of September is "Teacher's Day" in India. It is the birthday of a great scholar, philosopher and great statesman - Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. You can do it! Takes practice and it could be your acrylics. Not all acrylics are the same.

Some of my videos you can. There are several done for pure acrylic that you can't. Any of the alla prima ones can be done though.
Gorgeous! Thank you for demonstrating again how to control using white… which is my biggest problem. Did a floral painting last night and using white too soon gave my roses a very stiff look. A bad habit I’ve been struggling with.

I am in the process of purchasing supplies. Do I need short handle & long handle brushes to get started? I see you use long handles with the easel & short when not. Thanks for the advise~Beautiful Roses, can't wait to get started again, I used to paint a lot.
If your going to paint flowers, then short handles. I use them in most my flower videos. For easel work and landscapes I use long handles. It is your choice. Thank you so much 😊
