    Dear David,
I’ve been following your arch for several years. I am an artist myself but I am in Awe Of your beautiful paintings, your talent and especially, how well you teach each of us listeners. So few people will give time to others once they begin to make money, and speaking for myself, I am very grateful for your time and talent! I also appreciate you telling artist to never tell themselves they’re not good enough… As art truly is a Journey of learning and honing in on our techniques. Helping to build up peoples esteem is a gift and you have that as well. You make me want to keep doing my best and I also appreciated your comment about you continue to learn over the years and that we all have something we can learn from someone else or something else!! you truly are an amazing artist and an amazing individual/teacher!!❤️😊🌈

Over the years I've painted with a myriad of mediums, mostly acrylic as a hobby. It's fun. Last year I quit drinking and my kids went overboard on supplies to keep me occupied I guess. Mostly starter kits...but it's so great. I am tackling roses. UGH. You make so much sense. Today I'm watching this video while attempting my first serious rose painting. Thank you.

I loved following painting "the basic rose". I am 80 and have been in theater most of my life. In the beginning, way back when..I used to draw and draw most every day. Somewhere along the way I decided I wasn't good enough and I veered away from doing Art except in my theater journey. Now I am back and learning that I have "enough" to paint again. Thank you.

@@JansenArtEducation Hi. Just how much $$$ do those Artists’ groups @ MeWe.com cost, per person? I have many supplies, already. Probably not the same brand name that you’re suggesting, I imagine. And it’s anyone’s guess as to how much paint is still useable @ this late date. I have a couple/few canvases, a bit larger, same for the smaller size, and some canvas boards. I don’t have any Gesso, never did. Only used it IN CLASS/@ CLASS, ever. I have a wooden, “designer” type Easel, bought by an ex as a present. Seldom used in its fully open/expanded mode. But you don’t need to know all that. My apologies, David.
