As usual, another stunning painting, and a tutorial brimming with superb advice..such as don't finish one part before the others as the perspective will be skew. Yes, I have done that SO many times..concentrating on one aspect on the painting, and then throwing it all away because it all looks wrong! And here you explain why! Thanks so much Diane😊 You can do it. It is very hard to paint like someone else, this is why I like to give you lots of options in the lesson. It is all difficult, but you CAN do it!
Wow at it again can't wait to watch this one Dave. I watched one last night with a vase of flowers with Cauchois and I can dig that style it is more what I like to do. I loved it sooooooooo much. I had a question for you: how do you prime and prep your board?
I only basecoat. The Heritage paint I use doesn't need primer on the board first. Just paint.

Water will not do it Azka. You will have to use a halftone technique. Look through some of my videos, rose challenge. I show a halftone technique that works really well for those that have acrylics that dry too fast.
How can I paint like you sir? I find it so difficult.
Practice... practice and use the best tools and paint you can.

Yes. That is how I learned. I copied the masters for many years until I knew how to paint it. Then I relax a little and find my way to do it. You should start by copying. It is almost impossible to start without ideas and you get those from copying masters.
