Mums look exquisite as there is not alot of stiffness throughout composition. Colors and turning of flowers add so much. The frame is lovely as well and frames your chrysanthemums beautifully. Thanks so much for sharing and adding to our knowlege and future ideas!

Just stunning! These beautiful blooms made me think of Gum blossoms. Thank you David.
Thank you Karen 😀
I also love the inspiration from the impressionist painters and I really appreciate the very nuanced way of showing little variations in choice of color, variations of brushstrokes and the Focus on negative painting and so much more. And the general very good advise - "its all about edges, go for the greatest variety of edges"- and look up the paintings of Eugene Henri Cauchois - many beautifull flower paintings
Thank you so much for sharing on youtube. 😊❤️🌷

Beautiful, DAvid. Thank you for sharing this. Good segment on history of the bristle brush. I've just gotten some and am experimenting with them. (>:
Yes. I spent many years with "master brush makers" who taught me a lot of history and techniques with the brushes. Thank you so much 😀
I am watching this for a 2nd time because I am so In love with this painting and the perfect choice of frame it is in ! Would love to see more of the masters techniques you have done this beautifully but how do you match the colours so well ?

Thanks so much, what’s the best way to clean brushes when you only have water in a glass. I’m 13 and have been painting since I was very young but still only have very simple supplies. Expensive but simple. 😊thanks again.
You’re welcome 😊 I clean my brushes with a little isopropyl alcohol. You can also use hand sanitizer since most of them are 60% isopropyl alcohol.
✨✨✨🎨👏👏👏😘
Thanks 😀
Wow this is wonderful David, I do want to do something like this eventually. How long did it take you in reality?
I filmed the entire painting for the class. It took 3.5 hours to paint. Thanks Angela.

Im sorry this is so random but do you have a video on how we can depot our acrylics into containers like that? I have so much trouble with the lids! is it safe to use those with minimal air getting in?
Yes there are videos on the channel on how I work those colors. Yes, it is safe with a little air, at least the Heritage are. Others brands may not be.
Please tell us what brush you are using?
They are fusion flats and bristles.
dommage! j aurais bien aimer des commentaires pour expliqer! très belle peinture, cordialement

If you were to analyze what art style this is, what period do you think it would belong? Renaissance, romanticism, etc.?
