I'm a dude, who is to be fair on the older side(42) & generally out of touch with gamers & streamers these days, & I did know who Mercante was, & not for any good reasons. I found your channel through following this debacle, and furthermore, I honestly didn't know who Asmongold was, nor Melonie Mac, never heard of either of them at all..
But, thanks to Mercante, I do know of them now. They both have at least one new viewer(as do you) & new fan, and I'd take bets that I'm not the only person in this situation.
So Mercante isn't just making a total joke of herself, she's managing to help both(technically many) content creators reach new & previously unaware people(like myself), that can now be brought into their communities.
Mercante is straight up getting the opposite results of what she thought. And she just keeps digging herself deeper.
