Ahhhhhhhhhhhggggggggg!!!! THIS! All of this. I've tried the gym various times and I find myself looking around me at all the the deadness. Empty vessels wandering around and it makes me soooo sad 😭 the terrible lighting, bleach smell and when I walk on the treadmill all I want is to be outside. Your feels are my feels as well. Every year I always end up canceling because as soon as the weather turns enough for me to out in nature that's where I find myself EVERDAY🌞💫🌳🌄🌈

As I step into this for myself, and I'm growing up I just turned 18. I just never saw pure feminine essence too often. Usually it's distorted in the woman I've loved most. And it was suppressed, this nature, in all women. I was born being connected to my divine nature, but in this world aspects of true divine feminity were rejected and made me feel weak. I'm turning my essence into strength and I love seeing your essence as someone obviously beautifully abstract, kind, expressive, a tiny bit all over the place (free flowing) and seeing your strength in it. Mia, I don't know if you have ever read My Body Keeps the Score, but I highly recommend it. Your commentary on men in the gym wanting to return to their primal self reminded me of a passage from the book. Essentially, the author argues many men process trauma in a unique way that destroys their perception system--numbing their senses--making it difficult to feel anything unless under extreme duress. The masculine wound--which also existed in antiquity--subjugated men to be below their body, making them a servant of pain. Of course, this isn't all men, but may provide a unique perspective on why the gym has such a low frequency. It is not often a place of healing, but perpetuating the effects of trauma, reinforcing dissociation.

I been working on a garden. Working to be with the wild 💯 I also picked up crocheting which I had to find a way to use up a big tote of yarn which was POLYESTER! I went and replaced it all with wool and cotton. Got myself everything I need to do everything myself. Even learned natural body care, candles, so on.

I came for some witchcraft for the spring and all I got was negativity about the gym lifestyle. 🏋️♀️ Girlll the gym has become lots of us temples. The sounds and the movement are part of a ritual. Yes, we could run outside, but even I who lived in the forest can’t go on a long run with out issues like “charcos” and in warm weather 🐻. Yes we got lots of bears in my location. For generations humans have gather in groups to move or talk. The gym is that.
