When I was a little girl my grandmother would visit us (in Hawaii) from Ireland. She was catholic. However I have so many memories of her reading my tea leaves and pulling tarot cards for me. I even vividly remember her whispering in my ear that all women in our family are witches. Her and I have the same birthday as well so I thank her for lighting my fire at a young age. I’ll always feel her with me. This video fans that flame, so thank you.
Hi Hannah, thank you for sharing. I'd love to hear more about your grandmother if you wouldn't mind sharing. My mom told me we have Irish in our family on my grandmom's side. I was baptized Catholic but I've always felt I was different. I could see things when I was little and still see and feel things. I cannot be around a lot of ppl because I can feel their energies and most are very negative. I've always loved astrology, candle magick and tarot cards. I have always been drawn to witches but because of my Christian upbringing I was always afraid of going to hell and disappointing and disobeying God. I did read in the bible that God doesn't approve of divination so I don't know what the truth is. I wonder was that placed in the bible by some controlling man and not the true words of God? I've always also been interested in Ireland. There's so much more..

I am from philippines and spain has colonized our country for 300 years eracing our history. Once in my life i could not decide well. I prayed in the night for help. In the next morning i prayed again and in that night i meet a new friend who do card reading with my sister and me and saw my problem even though i don't tell him. So he somehow advised what i should do. I don't understand how it happened as it is written in the bible that don't do card reading sort of things. But as experience it before i accept the fact that the bible although created for good reasons but the church do alterate and edit some of it for their advantage. And that the reasons why this generation did not grow spiritually.

I am pagan in a Christian town and it is difficult to say the least. People honk their horns at me on the road, they shout insults, they make up rumors that get me into trouble, people that could be friends avoid me because of said rumors, etc. It makes it hard to practice my religion/spirituality. I just wish that we can all get along.
Then you really wonder who’s got the evil spirit reigning over them and their entire congregation. Yeah… nothing goodly or godly would ever be doing the things they were doing to you. And not to mention most often times it’s softcore possession when they are doing that to you. They’ll either wake up or they’ll perish as we move further into the new paradigm. The “elites” are now the “deletes” no more great reset. Everyone’s taking action now.

@@vivianp5962 I ll tell you why I won't be quiet under most circumstances. I am part Irish, and my mother's family were Roman Catholic. I was gotten rid of and sold to a couple of episcopalians who should not have been given a humane society cat. I was forced to stay with these people till I was eighteen and they ruined my life. There is alot of truth in the Israeli faith, but christianity is full of half truths and I will not just casually stand by and watch what I know God hates. It is one thing to be pagan and honestly not understand Sabbath ( innocence of omission is allowed), it is a whole nother thing to destroy someone's homeland and counsel mother's to sell their babies for the price of a midgrade purebred puppy over a pack of lies.
I'm leaving the mormon church. This is what I've been feeling FOR YEARS. I LOVE PLANTS AND PLANT MEDICINE. This is so good. Thank you! I needed this SO MUCH. It's like I found home.
I was brought up mormon. Lots of family still practices including my mom. I love the journey there to here though.

I’m in the same boat. I am a multi-generational Mormon. So many are leaving right now and becoming atheists. My spirit will never accept atheism. I think the future is to build something new based on our roots and ancestry.

Same! I’m was mormon. Polygamy, D&C 132, preventing women from leadership and priesthood ordination and the repression of heavenly mother and the fact that we are not allowed to pray to her is all ways that the mormon church had repressed the power of femininity, aka, the power of witches.

As an indigenous man whose ancestors from Guatemala. I had the privilege to visit my ancestor land without my family, and to travel alone, and I stumble upon a spiritual pilgrims. I was able to transform and be colonized by mine, so being the ancestral land of where I came from, and having elders, teach me the wisdom of my people if I rituals and magic open a great door of understanding, my spirituality as a person who wants to administer work for the church I can see how they almost destroyed my people. It makes me proud ti be Mayan. Because our people never gave up we still speak our dialogue, but we’re still influenced by the church in ways that still keep us colonized, but everything this video is true, and I feel it when I see it.

I am non European but Haitian descent and nature has all the answers. It’s crazy how people look at my culture as evil but we come from Mother Earth. It’s been 6 years I came out of the church and practicing ancestral spirituality. Witchcraft honestly is essentially people asking which craft are you tending to today? I believe I am a soul having a human experience. I believe that I am a drop of the ocean just not the same magnitude. Beautiful post by the way❤
I was raised in a Nazarene church. My mother was scottish, and my father was a mix of everything from Italy down through Egypt to Nigeria. I was taken from my mother at a very young age by her christian half sister who deemed my mother unfit to raise me, and filled her head with manipulation about how she was lost to god, evil, sinful, and I was better off in a christian home with siblings. Then they used to fact I was always with them and my mom smoked pot to eventually get custody of me. My mom got into an indicent that basically landed her in jail and named her an unfit parent because she was so angry and tired of everyone in our christian family and town putting her down for not conforming. When she died homeless when I was a teen they claimed she'd 'turned to god and was in heaven' and it made me so angry. Ever since I was little I could feel the darkness in the roots of the church. As if it were in the ground. I could decipher and hear the manipulative disgusting words in the music calling us sinners and worthless without god. I was subconsciously always trying to get back to our mother. Vanishing into the woods, refusing to wear shoes, ESPECIALLY outside, sleeping in the grass for hours, and screaming and fighting when I was dragged out of the house literally by my feet on sunday morning, forced to sit or I was physically hit during bible study on early sundays and Wednesday mornings. I always felt so resistant to pray to their god. My body would tense and id stand there with my eyes open. They thought I was just a bratty child and that my bio mother 'put the devil' in me. At 19 I got a DNA test. Then it all made sense. More than three of my ancestral cultures were living peacefully then completely irradiated and slaughtered by christian crusades, and my pastor brother will fight me on that fact, and demand to know 'wHiCh wAr' and if it isnt a well known Christian crusade he will say it wasnt a christian attack. But if you research the people they were devout followers of their god at the time. Now I barely make enough money to feed myself as a freelance writer. There are no jobs within walking distance, and my adoptive father refuses to drive me anywhere to work. He wants to keep me trapped here until he dies so he can claim he was a good father, and frame me as the deadbeat daughter just like my bio mom, and he says constantly I'll die on the streets just like her.
I was crying a lot through this. Anger, frustration and hurt from our suppression. It resonates so much. Im so happy i'm starting to remember and rise with the wave of this revolution of coming back to our innate selves . Thank you for sharing, you literally are Magik! Xx
I came into the Church while in college. Thank you for your information, as it's very eye opening for me. I've left the repression for good and now I know the Universe wants me to become a witch. 🖤
I love this, I see myself as mystic christian, I believe in Jesus/God but I don’t believe in religion, especially modern religion because I knew how misleading people can be, especially in this era. As a strong Christian who has been interested in witch craft and using the earths energy this was very interesting. My personal opinion is that the pagans did know God and the Holy Spirit, they just had different language for it. Whatever we choose to believe there is always a divine or higher power. This made me feel better about practicing green witchcraft as I do not think theirs anything evil about utilizing the earth and energy that God created (my beliefs of course, not everyone believes that). I think we can all come together on this and ir didn’t have to be the way ir was for centuries.

Bam...there you were. A mystical, fabulous ray of sunshine full of wisdom and knowledge. You have inspired me to learn more about my ancestors and to reconnect with nature and my higher-self. I am grateful to you. Yes! The church is not our culture. Our culture was stolen and burned and burried by the church and we are now reclaiming it. Empowered, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our sisters.
Interestingly I have had the same thought that you expressed about the posibility of a man, thousands of years ago, just turning on women because he was rejected by a high priestess. Only, in my imagination it was Constantine himself, after killing his wife and son, who probably decided "All woman are evil. Their power is too great. We must stamp them out, make them feel small and insignificant lest we all fall prey to their will. Mwahahaha!" They couldn't silience us forever. We have the magic of our ancestors running through our veins.
There was a exhibition at The National Museum of Australia. My mum and I took my little daughter to see it. It was 'Feared and Revered'. A celebration of Goddess worship through the ages. I found Lillith's story fascinating. After trying to make love to Adam on top she was thrown out and replaced with Eve.
Feels great to have some real information about what happened long ago and that we have forgotten.
May women reconnect to their power and may all people reconnect to themself and nature so that we come back to a more meaningful life.
We are all so much more powerful than we think and time has come for us to get it back.

Wow witch means wise that is so beautiful. I’ve been finding wisdom to be a theme of 2023 for me that keeps popping up everywhere. I’ve been recently getting into witchcraft and removing the negative connotations that my brain has been programmed with about the word witch as I grew up in a very strict fundamentalist/evangelical community that taught me the entire world was evil, especially witches. I was definitely guided to this video.

I had a friend in college who is Christian and openly spoke about it. (In Switzerland a lot of people are still baptized, but most are not really religious or go to Church anymore)
We were sometimes talking about beliefs but once he said something like: "Look at all the things we now wouldn't have without Christianity. We would be far worse off".
In that moment I knew it wasn't worth discussing anything religious with him anymore.
All the things Church has taken away from us and other cultures does not make up for the few things they invented. But they still manipulate people into believing that they are the savior of humanity.
It's a toxic organisation and that's it.

I recently learned about my bio-parents and I trace back to Drum Castle on my bio-mother's side. Bio-dad's was from the Highlands. Thank you for helping me get back in touch with my true roots. Both families ended up in Ulster and became Scots-Irish, then they both emigrated to the U.S.
What you said about the redwood trees reminds me of The Little Match Girl by Hans Christian Anderson.
When I was 18 I had a dream where I was burned as a witch by the townspeople who busted down my door in spite of me hammering pieces of wood across the door to keep them out. My own family had spread lies about me which resulted in me being condemned to death by fire. 🔥I realized I was dreaming as I was burning and I forced myself to wake up. After some time I finally woke up drenched in sweat.
I hear you on how the moon can influence us. My natal chart is 3/4 water and my NN is in Cancer which is ruled by the moon. A few days ago I went to sleep feeling mellow and content, however, I woke up the next morning full of rage and anger. I looked at my natal astro chart and the transitory moon 🌗 and Mars were hovering together right over my natal Vulcanus at 0* Cancer. I was like a raging volcano for the rest of the day. I'm much calmer now.

I'm certain my father's a dark warlock, my mother & sister witches in a dark coven & they've kept my gifts from me. I absolutely love this content, it's helping to answer different questions I've been having. I was raised as a Christian. But when I had my kids I didn't want to raise them in that way. So, we just kind of did our own thing. Now my oldest is 17 and my other is 15. Now I'm at a time where I'm finding me in whatever way that looks like.

Unfortunately my mother claimed to be a "Christian." She punished me for having autism/ADHD. And I've done tons of research to know that my fellow neurodivergents are being turned away from churches and some are being held as prisoners and tortured under the guise of a "cure." #stoptheshock
I did not plan on watching this whole video and now it's almost over. I feel the truth in so much of this. Personally deconstructing bc I was raised in the churchy/evangelical christianity realm and i'm just beginning to uncover the bullshit that it's brought to my spirit, ways of thinking, individuality, mental and emotional health. And the BS of the government, society and the system that mirror it. The thing I most agree with is that we all should have our own individual relationships with God and love that you're reminding people to not let anyone, even you, dictate that!! 💜✨

It stinks that there's not a word yet to describe "recognizing truth" when describing how we know things. We have to say "when you listen to scholars", "when you research," as if to support our claim to truth. Beautiful this so completely corresponds with what I have read and understand about how we have lost our way. I thought it was in a book by Ann Moura that I had read this but it is basically that we (early man) started by worshipping an Earth based spirituality. When christianity came along, and why the Earth, (our mother), in such dire straits is because once heaven was created and worship was taken away from flora and fauna spirituality, we, as humans, began to turn our worhsip away from where we lived. The very thing that gave us life and had meaning and, that people once understood through Nature as devine, manifested into heaven as the priority for connection - that what we did here on Earth did not count as much as what we did to gain entrance into heaven...so the creation of 'heaven' turned the emphasis of christian belief away from Mother Earth and rather than each person worshipping (god/s) in their own way, had to depend on the church to gain access to heaven and Earth became less important and therefore no more need to worry about the planet because what mattered was entrance into heaven.

I’m so glad you mentioned Taino people. I am from Puerto Rico and have yet to really connect with my ancestors and that part of my culture. Grew up catholic but never really cared for it. Was never really a “believer”. The last 8 years or so I’ve gotten more into spirituality and now I’m feeling the pull to learn about my ancestors and what practices they partook in and how they connected to God. I want to go back to my roots.

I was born in Peru and moved to Australia and now living in NYC and for so many years I was totally disconnected from Nature, and just two years ago I felt the Apus (mountains) calling me, my land was calling me and when I finally was able to go to the Andes to reconnect with Pachamama, it felt deep within me, I change my life style I started getting downloads about Mother Earth and our bodies. I feel in my whole body the wisdom that Nature gifted us and we forgot and that got stolen. This came at a good time. A Christian friend of mine recently expressed that her husband doesn't want her to be friends with a Witch. She's still my friend but the fact that she didn't actually stand up for me is disappointing. She even told me she doesn't want my blessings anymore.

I have always said that all these magical people can not be lying about what they witnessed and believed. As someone who USE to be Christian,when I went on my own journey I realized how free I became. I believe I was lead to the metaphysical and Esoteric because that is THE TRUTH.

I would love to read about this in the books you read them in. I started my break down of Christianity Mormon and catholic 4 years ago and still digging into the truth so I don't have so much guilt. But digging so deep into the 3 religions has made me cringe so so much when I hear pray to God for everything. Seriously? Praying doesn't help been there done that. However oddly herbal and manifesting does work. If you can go herbal for medicine do so do not get the prescription medication because it's mixed with chemicals that add more health problems it's like a train of medication. One is taken that one causes problems then you get put on another one and then your on two types of medication list goes on I seen this with my father in law until he was taking 8 medications daily which worsened his health! It also happened to me to a point my kidneys and heart aren't doing to well now but I'm trying to reverse what the toxic medications did to me that they so claimed were helpful for me yeah okay sure just wanting to take my money.
In Bulgaria I remember learning how my country was Pagan and was forced to become Christian. Those who didn't want to obey were put in prison or killed. Some European ppl remember, others know some of the history but don't believe the Pagan side of their history. I am partially bulgarian and I remember taht my country was Pagan and has had very magickal traditions. In Pennsylvania where I’m from, if you go to this place called Indian Echo Cavern, they actually have a rock formation that looks exactly like a dragon. My entire life, especially as a kid, I always believed that during the tours the dragon would sleep but at night it would fly around and protect the cave.

I love this content. I was raised Christian and have so much shame and guilt and fear for starting to change my beliefs. Recently Hekate has reached out to me and I’ve been really struggling with my fear and anxiety of “going to hell” etc.
Oh well hekate is a great deity to work with surrounding that. Hell is not just a place in the afterlife mythology. Hel is a goddess of the underworld you can research and honestly I think he’ll is the state of mine the church force upon people who just want to follow their hearts!

Meridith, I 💯 percent understand and empathize with you, I was raised Roman Catholic and Hell is all based on fear, I too had to break free from the weight of fear!! It was paralyzing and had to literally shed all of that, it will free you to give yourself more power and understand that you in creation are holy. To give away such power to ideologies that take and leach off innocence and ignorance is a sin.

Growing up I struggled heavily with finding a culture or a religion that suited me. my family is heavily Christian/catholic, but I never felt it actually fitted me. I always believed there was a higher being, but wasn't sure how many, who, or what. I also believed in some form of rebirth. I also greatly enjoyed anime and thought Japanese culture was beautiful, though it also never called to me, and my parents for some reason always had to remind me that it wasn't real. I also remember in middle school finding Greek and Egyptian mythology super fascinating.
I remember talking with a friend of mine in high school about our beliefs and she even shared the same beliefs with me. Irony at the time we were playing an (MMO)video game called Mabinogi, which was very loosely based on the Mabinogion stories(though initially, I had no idea). I've always known my family had heavy Scottish origin, from my grandmothers' side, and recently learned it's because they came from English nobles that tried to breed and kill out the people of Scotland.
I find it funny because it feels like Paganism has always tried calling out to me. My grandmother on my dads' side always did arts and crafts during certain seasons, holidays, etc. My siblings and I enjoyed shows like Little bear, which come to learn later in life that little bear celebrates pagan traditions. I've always been drawn towards witchy things, like throwing together concoctions in the backyard, nature, witchy movies(my favorite movie as a kid was Kiki), healing, or magic in video games. My aunt becoming Wiccan sparked my curiosity. Now here I am as a Celtic Pagan Witch. XD
This really resonated with me as a believer. When I became a Christian I started noticing that sometimes I had prophetic dreams but I was feeling ashamed and crazy when I would tell people like my family about my dreams and they would just say that it wasn't from God. I started getting discouraged so I just stopped really practicing my faith all together. But this helped me want to reconnect with God and not feel bad about the gift I was given. Not sure if I'll stick around, but this popped into my feed at what I believe was the right time for what I needed to hear at this moment. So thank you.

I don't like the Christian oppression and I believe in Jesus's teachings, but I also love my Celtic Pagan background, and the lunar cycle is my favourite thing! While I don't consider myself a Christian, I do believe in the Messiah's teachings. Unfortunately, Jesus's name had been used in vain during the Crusades and other eugenics programs such as Judge Rotenberg Center. I've done my research on a man named Matthew Israel and he was a nutcase who claimed to be a "Christian."

🤯 love this. I'm happy you're back! This video really gave me some insight and perspective. I really resonate with earth witch philosophy. I was raised strict Christian and even as early as 7/8 years old, I knew something about the teachings didn't make sense to me. As I got older I kept questioning what I was being taught and even though I was continuing to learn about the Bible I just couldn't bring myself to commit to one particular faith.
In my twenties I decided to sum up my beliefs to positive and negative energy and if I was going to put a label on it I would say agnostic.
