I have a question: if I flip to mix b in a channel, the b signal will go to the direct out? Thanks!

you should use your main channel faders for mixing and the mix b for monitoring or a second mix

I'm concerned about the audio quality. Will it do better than the preamps in my focusrite. A friend of mine has one for sale.
I dont know if it will sound better than the preamps in my focusrite. I would have picked it up. Also can i send out audio from my daw into the unit. Will there be a noticeable sound improvement if i do that?. Thank you

one of my videos you can look at was called what you wont do for love featuring behringer . you can judge the sound quality for yourself. I also did a video talking about behringer and cakewalk software. you can listen to that recording as well in the video

Does it have a sound card? Or would one need stacked audio interfaces??

you have to use an audio interface with it if you want to get sound in and out of your computer. I thought the video explained that.
