  • Though praised and criticized for many reasons, none could dispute this larger vintage console’s “Bang for the Buck”. As an economical learning console, EURODESK MX9000 delivered inputs, channels, and routing features that rivaled units three times its retail price. It had the bandwidth to integrate with and manage larger input hungry home studios, along with various live sound reinforcement scenarios. Watch all of this presentation now to find out what made the EURODESK MX9000 so flexible, and why I still use it. #BehringerMX9000 #BehringerEURODESK #AnalogMixer

    I’ve held on to my EURODESK MX9000 over the years because I’ve had no solid reason to let it go. It just works for me and still sounds good. Although many have struggled with maintenance issues with their units since its release, mine has been a solid workhorse that hasn’t let me down yet. With some brand models, it all depends on which unit you get as to how it will work and last for you. Maybe this was the case with the EURODESK MX9000? I don’t know. What I do know is that my console rocks, and I will ride that train to its final destination.

    The MX9000 was my main desk until i had a chance to buy a Allen & Heath GL2800, i only switched to that for the 10 aux outputs for individual in ear monitoring. I still use the MX9000 as a Demo station in the live room and is setup to record 8 tracks with 5 monitor mixes for recording quick live stuff or demo's. It's a great desk, still works a treat. I've always used it as a massive patch bay ,monitor mixer,playback controller and last but not least for the mic preamps, these beat most audio imnterfaces with built in mic preamps. I also have to say that when it's switched on the meter bay looks good. These nice big mixers have the wow factor .

    • @marksmusicplace3627
      @marksmusicplace3627 Před 2 lety +3

      the power supply failed due to the capacitors inside. Just research the capacitor types. be sure to get the correct number types for each cap. resolder new ones and then it will work again. the biggest failure in 99 percent of electronics is the caps. this is why pro level studios have their mixing consoles recapped.

    How does this mixer sound on its own. I mean the preams and eq. If i plug a mic directly into it and record into my daw. Or i take the alternate plug my mic int o focurite 2i2 and record straight into the daw. Which will sound better.
    One more thing if i pass audio singna from my daw into this unit and then back into my day fir summing. Will it make a signifant diffence in the quality of the audio. I ask because someone wants my yo buy Mx8000 but i dont know if i should get it or not

    • @PowercoatMusic
      @PowercoatMusic  Před 4 dny +1

      What your asking can be very subjective. It depends on a number of factors as to if something will sound better or not. You have to know and understand for yourself what you think "Sounds Good". What sounds good to you may not to someone else for many different reasons. Can this mixer deliver professional results? If the unit has been well-maintained and used competently, I would say yes. Folks have done a lot more with less. Please keep in mind that in too many cases it's not the gear, but how you use it. I hope that helps, and thanks for watching.

    Why do you say the mixer was "driven by" the Alesis power amp? It's really the other way around. The mixer signal goes through the power amp - not the other way around. Maybe that's what you meant?

      people constantly gives Behringer crap for cloning but never warm audio or heritage audio or vintech or BAE which I find amazing.

  • @gwugluud
    @gwugluud Před 9 dny +1

    Because if Behringer are making fools out of Boss, Moog, Roland etc by proving that their gear is price-gouged, exposing the mainstream devs as greedy (blank)holes, therefore, they “suck”.
    People would rather die than to not be chumps.

  • @gwugluud
    @gwugluud Před 9 dny +1

    The bias against Behringer is rife out there. I’ve argued gear with hippies who suddenly come down with rabies at the mere mention of them.
