You're absolutely wrong about the radiation trap. The idea that "skin can be grafted" back on is just erroneous, because the real danger of prolonged exposure is Acute Radiation Sickness. Have you seen what happened to any of the victims of Chernobyl? At an absolute minimum, cancer. At the worst, think of the firefighters and their ultimate fate.
I didn’t like how two of the victims essentially succeeded in their games but because they didn’t have just a few seconds they get killed
Makes sense within his character though. His traps weren't really that fair to begin with, it seems like he just like watching people get tortured but tries to justify it to himself by saying that it "helps" them
If you have been a fan of the franchise since the beginning. That's how it's suppose to be. Instructions are clear & if you want to live, you better start immediately. They chose to waste 1 min. If they didn't, they would have survived.
@@reannabrown1742Thats stupid. No one drugged and confused is going to have the capacity yo immediately follow instructions
@@ImRichYourPoor They weren't drugged. Seems like you didn't pay attention. Lol
Mateo sure as at that point he had like an hour to try to calm down, but valentina was thrown in it RIGHT away, and even still she lost by like 2 seconds compared to the like 5 mateo needed. No human is not gonna freak the f out after being told they have to saw their leg off or they'll get decapitated@@reannabrown1742
I liked how, in the ending, Amanda covers Carlos' eyes to protect him from watching the gas trap... when he happens to be in a room full of mutilated corpses😂
😂😂😂
Looooool! 😂😂😂
Lmao 🤣
Hopefully that few mil can go towards a decent therapist
@@StandardUserFromEarth💀no because no communism and so another saw movie
My theory is that Gabriellas trap was designed to be easier because John didn't believe that she deserved as much pain for her limited involvement.
Cecillia made her suffer more. Gabbey was going for her hand. But Evil bitch told her to go for her foot. The only thing holding her up to the radiation was her hand. She was making the right move and only suffered cause of Cecillia
Sounds pretty good but I thought she was trying to help her. How would she had reached her foot upside down?
@@Timmysmommy She would have been on the floor, away from the radiation and able to take as long as she needed to break free from the chain on her leg.
She was literally getting burned while having to like break her wrist and ankle while dangling 20+ ft in the air 💀💀
@@Mason-zm1vkI know right, she would’ve gotten severe cancer and permanent damage
I am no surgeon, but surely Valentina was destined to die from the beginning. Firstly, an amputation of that magnitude would definitely result in pass out from shock before you could even finish it. Secondly, amputating your leg from the thigh would likely mean severing the femoral artery, which is one of the largest blood vessels in the body. Even if she succeeded I can't see how she could possibly survive long enough to get medical assistance without dying from blood loss first.
Still one of the best traps in the series
That bothered me as well. I know horror films do gloss over things like blood loss, but that was so big wound that it couldn't be glossed over with a tourniquet applied first. It would have been better with several drill-based extractions of marrow instead.
She placed a tourniquet around her leg at the start.
like with Gabriella, John and Amanda were prepared to step in given that they survived. As for Gabriella, they were stopped before they could. Also, it was the same with Diego who sliced the hell out of his arms, he would have died from blood loss if John hadnt stepped in to patch him back up.
Yes exactly but it’s definitely the work of Hollywood, Just cutting your leg that high up like you said damage’s important arteries because every time the heart pumps, blood moves right through it, obviously because your arteries are connected right to your heart, she’d be dead within minutes
Agreed. I was like no way she just doesn't die from blood loss.
In our theatre the sound cut out for the last 15 minutes and during the last trap someone in the row behind me started singing the theme rly loud and everyone was laughing. Great saw experience
That’s definitely a one of a kind experience!
Haha lucky you! In my theater the movie didn't play for a couple minutes. Which only had us & a foreign couple who proceeded to say he's never seen lips that big (black person on the screen) when the commercials began to play. Minutes later, a black family of 15 people came in all spread out. & another couple who sat behind us. Everyone talking the whole fucking time. & kids running up & down the aisle.... fun. 😬
@@reannabrown1742 kids at a saw movie???
@@reannabrown1742 that theatre experience sounds like a saw trap 😵
@@emma-xt5iy LMFAO that's what I said. But I love the saw franchise that I absolutely refused to let them ruin it for me.
Gabriella should have survived. Also, it was interesting to see two test subjects go through all of the pain and suffering of the trap only to die due to the fact that they simply took too long to accomplish it. Valentina was seconds away from surviving.
Yeah - I guess it just showed the harsh brutality of Cecilia though with what she did to her and the fact that she cared for nobody but herself.
Nah. Cecilia's team took full advantage of vulnerable, desperate people, and Gabriella was fully complicit in all of it. She deserved her fate.
As much as I want to agree, I don't. I didn't care about Cecilia or if she would've lived or not. But once she killed Gabriela, I wanted her dead. Her killing Gabby was to make you hate her as much as Amanda hates her which is the whole point.
It's not the first two times the subject just didn't make it.
Valentina took a whole minute of crying and hesitating let alone she didn't use the saw/tool right. They don't take that long to cut through limbs
I find it fascinating to think that the blood trap was initially for Cecilia and Parker to test their loyalty to each other. In addition, John also had a backup plan that if Cecilia managed to tie both him and Amanda to the trap, they would both be able to easily win cause they know the way to beat the trap(both just had to pull the level at the right intervals to breath and wait for the two to get the cash). However he didnt plan for the boy to be in the trap, hence why he said that the boy was a miscalculation. Big brain movie
The blood trap was never for cecelia and Parker. John knew he was going to get double crossed by them and end up in the trap, the little boy was not planned it was supposed to be Amanda, but this was just to get the 2 bads in the gas chamber where John and Amanda could then free themselves. You know this because he made subtle comments earlier about her “burning him” and ‘regardless of how this goes it will work out’ always 10 steps ahead
@@snuketime Kramer couldn't have been 100% sure that Cecilia and Parker will force him and Amanda to play the game. Parker could just try to shoot them the moment he got the gun. That is why the Blood trap is initially also meant for two participants. And Parker notices it the moment before they grab the moneybag
@@Gan3eLbingo
@@Gan3eLThe gun wouldn’t have worked anyways. He knew the type of person Cecilia was. He literally put the gun away as soon as parker was waking up to make sure he knew where it was. It was all part of the plan, except the little boy
Why was the boy there?
This movie actually makes you like John Kramer because he took more of the blood for the little boy and he only wanted to get back at the people that did him wrong . He even told them to set the girl free that passed her test .
Yeah but he is also the one reason why everyone is there in the first place .

Watching Mateo rip out his brain matter didn’t bother me one bit, Valentina sawing off her leg didn’t bother me, but the second she stuck that hose into her bone I physically grabbed my leg and winced, absolutely fucking brutal. I went into this film excited for the twist but once John was put into the trap I forgot about it until she pulled the bag off the wall and that score kicked in and my eyes got wide, they did a phenomenal fucking job and revived a series by going back to what it was good at

The only trap that bother me was the Gabriella trap when she broke her foot it remind me of Detective Matthew from Saw 3 when he broke his feet in the bathroom with a toilet part
@@PeoplePlaygroundSawyeah, I just didn’t like seeing a kid in a saw trap
I still believe that the best saw traps are the ones which are beatable. Valentina's trap is pretty unbeatable because in reality she would've died of blood loss and carlos' trap was also pretty unbeatable, as he was pulling out tissue from what appeared to be the primary motor cortex, so would probably loose a lot of function in his hands or arms, thus being unable to complete the task. Good film tho, loved the ending.
Was it frontal lobe? I thought it might have been parietal.

We all knew Carlos wasn't gonna die (neither John, nor Amanda) but it pained me so much when he was in the trap. I would've never seen that one coming.
I agree. It pained me much watching John and Carlos in the Blood Boarding Trap. Seeing a kid and the greatest icon in one of his own traps was tough to watch.

@@eddieolshefski6467same I cried a lot and had a panic attack ( in a blood trap of Carlos) cause I couldnt stop myself I left the cinema my energy really get drained after and all the people were watching me
The Eye Vaccum trap gave serious Resident Evil Biohazard vibes, in the fact that in one DLC, you have to play poker, or some sort of card game against another tied victim. Every bad hand you play, or lose in some manner, one of your fingers is chopped off. Your left hand is almost identical to the way shown in the movie, except it looks like a bunch of mini Guillotines around each finger in the game.
Yeah was reminded of that too. In the 'censored' versions of RE7 like in Japan, the finger cutting is replaced by an extremely similar device like the one in the Vac trap, that breaks each finger via snapping them back.
The leg trap for Valentina was the peak of this movie and one of my all time fave moments, I knew she was gonna die as it had taken so long for someone to go but omg she pushed through a lot more than expected, I had thought after she cut off her leg she did it but omg the timer and the scales were so tense, kinda wish she made it after doing all of that hehe bur that’s saw
She deserved to live. That was so painful, to watch her get close and fail!
best part. that wire saw was,... goddam the way she was grinding it.. fuckkkk
Worst trap in the franchise! I literally couldn't watch, had to turn my head.
@@preezuswalks1615I can only imagine the pain she experienced while cutting through her femur and then sticking that hose into her leg...🤢🤮.
When Amanda shit-talked her afterwards and said she "didn't have the will to survive" I wanted to throw something at her.
The Gigli trap made Gordon's foot sawing seem like a park walk and she only had 3 minutes as opposed to 12 hours...John really hated her
And Gordon only had to do his ankle whilst valentina had to go from her upper thigh
Honestly, the hardest part of Mateo’s trap is just him having to saw open his skull. Anything after that is a piece of cake. The brain does not feel any pain, so him yanking out a big enough piece wouldnt hurt him.
If Mateo hadnt known that, I really wish one of his surviving fellow prisoners told him, just to hype him up a little lol
Cool, I would have expected that cutting into your brain would hurt as hell, good to know :D
Honestly I would’ve kept the surgical tools held above my head in case the trap activated. Better to die from brain stabbing then being cooked by red hot grills pressed into your face
@@ComicWriter-ml3qt I would take Mateo’s trap over Valentina’s any day.
Honestly I don't think the pain is as much of a worry compared to the very real risk of giving yourself a lobotomy or worse, especially since you are stuck in a chair counting down to execution as someone who has zero experience with brain surgery or the like.
Also the subconscious wouldn't exactly work with someone putting a sharp object around where it lives, especially if you're viewing it through a crappy camera and monitor.

FACTS. The traps in this SAW movie were truly 'shocking'. As a fan that has seen EVERY "SAW" movie upon release at the Theater, this is the 1st that really had me doing the "cringe/look away"-thing! DAMN....what will they have in store for us in SAW XI?

the radiation trap is messed up because gabriela could develop cancer after the trap
Well that was the whole message behind the trap. She participated in the whole scam to get money out of John and pretended to be a former patient with cancer who was cured. Granted I do feel bad for Gabriela a little because unlike everyone else, she didn't willingly do with malicious intent in order to get rich. She was most likely taken advantage of her addiction to drugs and we know drug addicts are in state where they'll do anything to get drugged even more and stop their suffering. It's sad really, but at the end of the day, like John said she had the free will to make her own choices, including to become a drug addict which led her to this point. And those types of choices always have serious consequences.
If the radiation was intense enough to give her burns that quickly, then she probably still would have died from radiation sickness weeks later anyway.
That was pretty much the point, that’s why when she survived, John wanted her to get immediate medical attention
radiation could just mean heat.
Wait you can get cancer by that😐
Now I want there to be a reality show where a bunch of contestants design and build their own traps, which are reviewed by John Kramer and a panel of judges, in the hopes of become Jigsaw's next apprentice.
YES.
Id watch it for sure! 😂
The brain surgery and bone marrow traps were bit too over-the-top to be really good, but bomb bracers were just so efficient and clear: just remove them and provided tools are not enough to cut wire, but they do cut flesh. Final gas chamber was real good show of John Kramer always thinking ahead and the fact he and Amanda got out of their chains so fast and easily just tells how clever he is. John Kramer will not die by dramatic irony of being killed by his own game.
The bomb bracers were my favorite trap.
Fun fact: The brain surgery trap is actually completely possible and you can survive. There's a funny part to it, though. Mateo is ripping out a chunk of the left superior parietal lobe, which is (among other things) responsible for spatial awareness and coordination. This means that it's possible that he dropped the hunk of grey matter into the vat by luck. His brain might not have been able to process where his arm was in relation to the vat, even while staring right at it.
That part of the trap had me giggling in the theater and my mom slapped my arm a few times. Hey, she knew she was going to a Saw movie with her son who is a scientist and has a lot of experience with human anatomy.
@@austinluther5825 It seemed to be right side of his head he opened so you mean right superior parietal lobe?
@vksasdgaming9472 LOL, I did mean right! I had it correct in my head, no idea why I wrote left. Both sides process spatial awareness, but the RIGHT (I got it this time!) is more involved with processing space that you see. So, Mateo being able to process where his hand is in relation to the vat based on what he can see. Left is more space that you feel, like closing your eyes and still being able to tell if your hand is angled toward you or away from you.
Thank you for correcting me!
Am I the only one who's upset that the the selfish murderer survived... BECAUSE she's a selfish murderer?
Like her test in the gas chamber was to continue being selfish to win?
@tevenpowell8023 Yeah, that was odd. I get what they were going for. Both the gas chamber and the blood board were for a pair and you can either sacrifice yourself or screw the other over. So it's a test of their commitment to each other.
Except, that's not what the traps are about. It's usually about being willing to go to extremes to survive. And that's every other trap in this movie. So the deviation from that definitely feels off.
Especially because it surprises absolutely no one when they end up being willing to kill each other for their own survival. They're selfish con artists. So them turning on each other is expected and doesn't say anything about the characters that we don't already know.
Honestly, John giving the bag of money to the kid at the end was surprising. I get that the kid was likely in poverty and needed it, but that money was covered in so much blood and dirt, and it was only earned through conning desperate people.
That’s a fair point!
At this point they're already all dead by that time so either the money goes to the kid or charity right about now johns dying so I won't need the money for there's no cure so give it to a kid who has his whole life ahead?
he not I*
I like to think that he gave all the money to the kid to hush him up. Just a funny thought.
People complaining about victims wasting time should consider that we're taking things objectively but if we're in their position, will you be able to comprehend the tasks and act as soon as the timer starts? In the heat of the moment theres no guarantee on how our minds will react
😂you're right..I couldn't cut off my own leg f*** that just kill me 😂😂
EXACTLY
The brain trap is proof enough that most people would freak out, like, no way any of us would be genuinely willing to rip a piece of our brains out.
I remember studying this film to try to find out the twist but it still caught me off guard. When John and Carlos got into the trap i got legitimately worried but all that was taken away when Parker said "who else was going to be on the other side of that" because i knew there was something going on. Then Cecilia pulled the bag and that beautiful Saw theme kicked in. It really was a fantastic first watch in the theatres that i dont think another will replicate for some time
Number one totally I totally agree the gigli saw trap got to be brutal
Yeah it definitely was!
Oh it was definitely brutal. I admit, I was feeling uneasy as she was sawing her leg off. But then right when she put the tube in and the bone marrow was being drained, I got queasy and nearly passed out but stood strong.
wouldnt be a "saw" movie without some kind of a saw
Plus she didn't deserve that..the leader Cecilia did!
I'm just wondering if Gabriela even gets a chance to survive her ordeal, considering he basically just radiated her brain there and probably just gave her some cancer.
Kinda dies regardless if that's the case.
Had Gabriela gone 2nd as John intended, likely would've faired better as she would have been more determined to survive. Seeing Valentina & Mateo's death likely made her believe it was no hope. Hence looking as if she had given up during the 2nd half of the trap.
@@thesilentsociety3252 I think she gave up half way through was because her brain was melted potatoes at that point.
The appendix cutter trap in the end credits was brutal

The thing about the gigli saw trap is the victim would most likely die from blood loss from losing their leg or at least go into shock therefore unable to compete the task
I laughed when I saw the brain surgery trap and thought "yeah, just kill me" lol I think they should note that 3 minutes is not a lot of time at all for anyone to contemplate doing most of these and actually going through it. Another downside was that 2 of them basically did it but still died due to the "measuring process" timer which felt cheap. If you say your own leg off you deserve to live imo.

Personally, I didn't like the two highest-ranked traps that much. They were certainly gruesome, but also unfair in demanding something nigh impossible from their victims, as well as seeming too "specific" to actually be viable. On the first issue, performing brain surgery in yourself would be practically impossible, particularky ubder those conditions. The chance of striking something that would cripple you would be massive, and if it were in any way possible, would come down entirely to the incredible skill a user would require to have rhe slightest chance to pull it off. There's not even much of a "lesson" in this trap, because it's not about sacrifice or changing your ways so much as just being an absolute god of neurosurgery. The gigli saw trap, similarly, requires the participant to slice off their whole leg, then syphon off bone marrow. The sheer ttauma the person would go through almost certainly guarantees death by exanguination, abd uf you somehow survived that, it would next come down to somehow receiving critical medical aid to stop the bleeding, and prevent massive infection from having your bone marrow exposed in such unsanitary conditions. Overall, neither trap really gives the player much of a chance at survival, with the requirements for success being almodt impossibly high. Finally, the traps aren't self-contained: apart from havibg someone observe the contestant through the camera, the game itself can't determine you're playing it right: both require a mass of human tissue, but neither can reasonably detect what kind of material is being inserted. This means that, if the user was left alone with the trap, they could simply provide the material without hurting themselves, or in case the trap could somehow detect organic material, sacrificing a bit of non-critical flesh should proce a viable alternative. In conclusion, my opinion is that both these traps are almost impossible to survive if played correctly, and are fairly easy to dupe if played incorrectly, neither of which makes for a very interesting "game".
they called him Kramer way too much in this film. had me thinking of seinfeld
The eye vacuum one shouldn't be that tough. It would suck, but broken fingers are far from the most painful thing I've ever experienced
Yeah I get what you mean! I feel because it was part of Kramers imagination he didn't think it through fully!
it really was a great movie. i'd highly recommend seeing it in person.
Yeah it was a good one for sure!
I can't handle screaming. Blood I'm fine with, but if they scream I'm out. So, sadly, i can't watch it.
My favorite trap was the eye vacuum because of the creativity and mood of it but gigli saw was definitely my #2 I feel like she would have died even if she escaped it because of all the blood loss
That's fair! They were both very creative traps!
the eye vacuum one made me cringe but i agree it was creative.
Even though that was a fake game only imagination of John head it’s a perfect example of how John works on their subjects if he sees you doing a sin bam that will be your end game
My ranking:
1. Gigli saw
2. Brain Surgery
3. Radiation - The victim's fate pissed me off
4. Eye Vaccum
5. Leaking Gas
6. Pipe Bomb
7. Blood Boarding
Note: I left ignorant to the post credit scene so i didnt see that trap
The thing I really don’t like is how some of these traps take time for some mechanism to build up. The victim technically already succeeded in doing their part, yet they still died because the machine was too slow.
The concepts of the traps are interesting, and so are the twists. But what really made the traps in this film stand out is how well they played into the issues faced by the characters. Like the leaking gas was the best one for me - because it really fit in Cecilia and Parker's narrative, and the twist didn't feel forced or cheap in this movie. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that some of the important brutal gorey effects were cut off. I mean, Saw is still primarily for shock value, but they made it look a little too easy for the pipe bomb guy to rip them off his arms, and they didn't even show Valentina's decapitation on-screen. Other than that, this movie was a great one in the series in recent years.
You must have gotten a censored version because I saw that movie last night (in Sweden btw) and the whole decapitation was on screen.
@@eurosalamandersame, må ha skyggat min syn med händerna men det var där. Väldigt där om jag må säga.

I’m kinda glad the eye vacuum trap was a fake out because it seemed the easiest the survive. Broken fingers for keeping your eye balls. All you gotta do is turn that sucker in one go.
Yeah would have definitely been the easiest!
I feel like John was really about to give up on doing traps cause when he was sitting at the park he tore the paper that was drawn a trap in it until those fake doctors scammed him
Not gonna lie, for the Radiation trap Gabriella could've won if she struck her hand instead. Like she was told to start with her ankle in hopes she avoid the radiation heat but we saw it also moved. So if she went with her hand she'd pretty much would've been in the clear, yeah she'd suffer minor burns and a broken hand but it beats the burns she got and broken ankle and hand.
Yep, but Cecilia wanted her to die. It meant she had fewer people to share the money with.
She *deliberately* gave bad advice...
Well, I believe that It would be harder If she did the hand First. The leg was in something that It was not stuck to the ground. Its possible that as soon as she break the hand and Falls, she would be raised upside down UP to the ceiling.

Brain surgery, i liked the design on the mask that closed in on the guy
I had to stand up and exit the movie theater for 10 mins, I almost fainted because of the giggly saw trap. Most brutal trap in the series I feel.
I wonder what the cut trap was going to be, the director hinted at it being related to an MRI machine but Lion’s Gate felt that the trap was pushing it too far.
I heard about that! I wonder if it was the more extreme version of Gabrielle's trap.

Radiation literally changes the structure of DNA. She would have extreme health complications until she died if she got out. I also have no idea what happened in the blood trap cause I didn’t see the film and this video didn’t explain how it hurts either of them
The gigli saw trap was my favorite too. It was absolutely a classic kind of trap and I liked how they went really graphic with it. The dark fact she almost made it was even better.
The brain surgery trap I don't know. It was in some way a little over the top. That said, I really liked how the mask turned out to be when it closed.
I also liked the eye ball trap because of the originality.
It seems like the disembowlement trap may involve him having to bend his back to somehow remove the chains hanging him, thus plunging those claws into his chest.
Okay can i just say that 3 minutes is not enough time to perform a craniotomy on yourself? It takes like 5 hours when you're doing it on someone else. 3 minutes on yourself? He had no chance.
@GiaHoaNguyen not to mention the took way too long to dissolve the brain tissue. He completed the test, and it was Jigsaws method of counting it that screwed him over. If he had used a different method of counting the tissue like a scale, then he could have gotten out no problem, although he'd still be missing a piece of his brain.
It takes hours to do it safely and get exactly what you need and no more. It can easily be done in 3 minutes if you dont care about what you are removing. The biggest time waster was waiting for the enzyme to dissolve the brain matter.
@@themedia1271 Mateo spent half his time freaking out (understandably)
He was so close he did it then he died because he wasted the first minute
@@themedia1271 - the guy wasted over a minute starting the task... but i think that john should have hit a magic button and gave him 20 extra seconds or just disabled the trap as he had done the deed.
I was wondering why John didn't get the guy that was supposed to be in that disembowelment trap.... He was the one that sent him to fake surgeons in the first place.
Yeah exactly!
He did. look at the ending credits in the movie.
Oh he got what was coming. Courtesy of our favorite Detective. It was also held in the famous… Bathroom Game.
Hoffman caught him and put him in the bathroom of saw 1 location
Henry was in the states so I’m assuming that’s why they had to wait. That’s also why I believe Hoffman didn’t have much hand in the traps in Mexico. He’s a detective, it’s not like he can run off to Mexico to help John, whereas Amanda, didn’t have anything. It was easy for John to get her there as she had no other obligations (I’m assuming). That’s my theory anyways… Henry was pretty convincing though. Before the end credits, I originally thought that he saw the dad and he actually was the real deal
Another thing about the eye vacuum trap: it wouldn't be able to suck the eyes out from the victim's socket, simply because even a perfect vacuum is not enough force to suck the eyes out. It would still hurt though, as the water inside the eyes would start to boil and burn the eye.
That Eye Vacuum trap looks pretty cool👍💯
The only tough part of Mateo's trap was to drill through his skull. The rest was smooth sailing from there since the brain does not feel any pain. Valentina though, felt every single moment of the pain. From sawing her leg off to having to stick that tube into her bone to the bone marrow extraction. Everything was hella brutal. I would have long passed out or died immediately from the shock from having to saw off my leg, lol.
The leg one was the most gruesome to me
Yeah i'd agree!
Definitely 😢😢
The eye vaccum trap for me is pretth creative and quite makes sense if you look at something that probably Kramer saw in that train of thoguht: the orthesis the patient at the room had.
I am an Occupational Therapist student and in class i was doing that orthesis in specific when i got to see the movie!
That orthesis is a Kleinert, a type of orthesis that helps your hand stabilize itself after an injury on the radial nerve, which causes your hand to make a drop position (kinda when you put salt in some food with your fingers, that hand position), making the fingers come back toa more functional position thanks to the metal and some hangers attached to it, holding the fingers. The trap probably was doing the same thing, just that way more injuring, by pulling the fingers way too much.
placing traps low just because there wasnt as big of a sacrifice is not fair. you have to concider the ratio between the reason why the victim is in the trap and the punishment. I feel like its good that the eye vacuum trap was pretty easy, because the victim was just young thief.
eye trap didnt really happen tho just an imagination
The eye vacuum trap is pretty easy, sure, you'll have the initial panic, but after that, you can easily spin the thingy fast enough to break all 5 of your fingers in one go, it'd hurt but i have the feeling that real scared people would try to hurry up with breaking the 5 fingers thing just to avoid losing their eyes.
Ironic. John Cramer always talks about the value of peoples life. Other people’s lives. But does he ever value his? He’s spend too much time obsessing over others life he’s neglecting his own. The only reason for him to live is to make other suffer. Truly, ironic.
🤔 well said! But then it wouldn't be a movie 😂🤷♂️
When John arrives in Mexico and the camera pans to the creepy ancient evil monkey statue I thought where is this gonna appear again, when Mateo fails his trap and the mask closes shut I was creeped out, seeing his face melt out the bottom of it was rank
Yeah I thought the same to be fair!
Huh I didn't see his face Melt IT just showed the mask 😂
I like how this was my first Saw in theaters experience with a friend of mine who had watched nearly the whole franchise. I turned to him and asked if they ever used kids in the traps during these movies, to which he answered no....only for this to apparently be the first Saw movie to put a kid in a trap 😅
loool
I actually didn't like how close they got with the brain surgery and gimly saw traps. Mostly because they actually did everything but died because of a slow key release to me they felt more like Amanda rigged traps than Cramer traps. Also to me the eye suction trap didn't even feel that lethal, mostly because he has used stabbing eyes out for painful choice and suction doesn't really do as much damage as stabbing, less repairable maybe but not lethal. I am not a doctor so I could be wrong.
The sea saw trap was horrific because there was a child in it
Very true!
True. Also John was in it too. Like, damn!
The fact that films like this exist proves that people deliberately make themselves anxious/depressed
The only one I see myself passing is the eye vaccum test , and the one Gabriella did , maybe 10%chance of me passing Mateos test
The Gigli saw trap made me nauseous while watching it… it was probably the hardest one to watch besides the brain surgery one.
The leg trap was what made me cringe never have i ever cringe at a saw game i wanted her to win so bad Mateo meh Gabriella definitely and that she devil i wanted her dead how dare she put a child in a trap😂 was awsome movie
*Edit extra notes*
I wonder if Carlos grows up to follow in johns footsteps ??¿
The hair trap in Saw 4. I could barely look at the screen. That was VILE. 😭
Same. I felt like she didn't deserve such a brutal trap the leader did 😂
Paulette Hernandez aka Valentina had a small live on facebook. She was given the option of either the brain surgery trap or the gigli saw. She did remarkably well with the acting
Damn how many times i've fantasized about a Saw Trap that includes Radiation, haven't seen the movies yet but if i come to watch them i'd definitely do it.
(I know only a little bit about Saw and i am sadly not able to watch the newest Movie due to a few reasons but from what i know about that franchise it surely is gonna be something i'd like)
Valentina’s trap could have easily be beaten if she had used the wire saw on the rope around her neck.
Not going to lie. I would’ve broken all my fingers so damn fast lmao what , I would’ve thank John personally 😂
Lol, yeah that one is definitely the easiest!
@@BrainPilot lol facts , shit Kramer could’ve took my hand. Just leave my eyes out of it
great video thumbs up! keep up the good work!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Nice video
Thanks
Gabriella's trap is flawed
She broke her ankle first because one of the characters said so with no real base
If she released the hand she could've dropped to the floor a little more painfully but in half the time and with significantly less damage
Valentina actually wouldn’t have been able to complete her trap in real life because she would have passed out from shock
Not necessarily, but I sure would have 😵💫
I think one thing different about SawX is that it was much more personal to John Kramer, and they gave him (and all their other victims) false hope. So in these traps, John gave the *scammers* false hope that they could complete their tasks in time. For Valentina, most people would just have to cut their leg off, but SHE had to extract enough marrow... not really feasible. But close enough that she *thought* she could make it. (Before taking her life anyway) Mateo was the same. Not only did he have to extract brain tissue, but it had to dissolve. Even if he hadn't wasted time and gotten the tissue in there sooner, he'd still have to get the key out of the box, and use it to release himself from the trap. It wasn't really possible, but it *seemed* like it was, giving him false hope that he could survive. Gabriella's trap wasn't nearly as bad, and she would've survived (for a little while at least) if Cecilia wasn't such a monster.
and soundtracks perfectly complement the atmosphere. for example with Mateo
If I were in the eyeball/ finger trap the joke would be on him... my fingers bend real far back 😂
@@daviesmcthe finger trap in spiral was GRIM! OMG 😭💀
I dont normally react to blood but honestly the brain surgery trap actually had me shocked
Yup….🤯
Yeah that one looked so painful!
@daviesmc nope….real talk
in the radiation trap the lady said do the foot first but your going to fall anyways so you would've broken less bones by going with the hand first
After Valentina almost cut off her whole leg I was like GIRL HOW ARE YOU STILL GOING CALL IT QUITS YOU ARE GONNA DIE OF BLOOD LOSS ANYWAY
Lol, true!
ALMOST?! She did sever her whole leg😂...😢...they used her intestines too and her head lol SMH just rude 😂
The eye trap I feel like was just a vision of what John could’ve done but idk
It was?
Yeah it was a vision that he had!
It was a vision; a What If scenario. Thankfully the janitor made the right choice.
Radiation trap was crazy
6:44 yeah if you didn’t look away atleast once you’re SOUL IS GONE .
And imma saw fan all the way who loves the gore and traps but DAMN
Valentina's trap is just....omg 😭
Too difficult lol
She could've survive if she have enough time to do so.
@@EuniceCaliforniashe would bleed out un real life femoral artery 🤦♂️
I felt bad for her 😢
People complaining about Mateo and Valentina forget they had 3 minutes (not a TON of time but still). Mateo wasted almost an entire minute before he started what he needed to, as did Valentina. They were only seconds short but they wasted the seconds they needed.
I just think it heavily goes against the PRINCIPLE of the traps for Mateo and Valentina to die anyway after completing their tasks. John WANTS them to survive and be rehabilitated.
Seriously, how could Amanda honestly say that Valentina didn't have a strong enough will to live after watching that.
@@tevenpowell8023You're right Amanda was just a b**** 😂
Easy for you to say ...imagine how hard it would be to willingly cut off your OWN leg 😳
4:51 when I saw the movie, I swear I saw multiple holes
Nice pun
The eye one would be the easiest to get out of, adrenaline would prevent you from feeling much pain if you turned the dial quick enough. I've broken multiple fingers, never at the same time, but I remember it not being that bad. The weeks after when I couldn't use my hand would suck but I'd be alive.
I *love* watching extremely disturbing videos before going to sleep! (I should not be doing this)
If the traps people passed, but still got killed were made by Amanda, I would get it. But why did Jigsaw still kill people who who figured out their traps with seconds left? It defeats the purpose.
They didn't possess the necessary will to survive, it's plays into John's sick philosophy.
@@thesilentsociety3252 What? You get trapped, do you have to before the time runs out, and the clock stops. But several people in Saw X got out of the trap seconds before the ran out, but they still got killed anyway. They had the will survive, so why did they get killed?
@@BSJ-UnparalleledJohn did warn them not to waste time, and get right to it though. So he doesn’t care, if they wasted their time then they lost the game
@@clover2739 No, I think the writers just made a mistake. This has never happened in the history of the Saw franchise unless Jigsaw isn't the one who set up the trap.
@@BSJ-Unparalleled how’s it a mistake? Like it’s not as wild as you think it is. Like guy is a psychopath who gets people killed in awful ways no matter how he says it, plus it’s a different situation as well from the other saw movies. With the others he’s going after people for ridiculous reasons, these people are actually bad people who deserve it this time. It doesn’t seem to be the exact philosophy that they don’t enjoy their life, but he’s doing it because they screwed him over as well as other vulnerable people. It was definitely more of a revenge plan with him being way less forgiving with it.
Plus I’m confused with your argument anyway? Not a single person passed with seconds left. They didn’t do their objective on time, so they failed and died? Like how’s that different to how his traps are anyway? No one has seconds left, they ran out of time… which is shown in saw traps all the time?
Thank you for confirming that the first trap didn't happen. John says "Good choice." So I always wondered if it really happened.
If I was forced to choose which trap out of all of them l have to go through in the Saw franchise, I would choose the eye vacuum and here's why. I can easily avoid losing my eyes by just breaking all five fingers quickly. It is possible to break five fingers and get them repaired at the hospital and it is not like I have to pull ten fingers out like in that finger trap in Spiral.
I personally would switch the eye trap and radiation traps place.
I feel like a lot of yall don’t understand what radiation poisoning does to a person.
Complete organ failure? Extremely painful 😂
The guy with the pancreatic cancer who refered Kramer .. so I thought he was in on it ? The blueberry scone guy
Henry?
Um... mid-credits...
**spoilers if you haven't seen the post credits scene for Saw X
He was definitely in on it (the cancer scheme, I mean). A lot of people didn't stay for the post credits scene/didn't even know about it, but it showed that Henry didn't actually have the scar he told John he'd gotten from surgery. Hope this helps ^-^
I suppose for the eye vacuum trap they could have done what they did in "21" from residential evil
Surely, with the radiation trap being, you know, radiation, the likelyhood of irreparable cancer being caused would be quite high?
The radiation machine was so potent it could lethally burn her within 3 minutes. She would’ve definitely died of radiation poisoning within a month had she survived the trap.
The radiation trap is on par with the brain trap as the two impossible to survive ones (tho one of them being more of a delayed death).
Hell, you could argue it’s preferable to be in the brain trap and die in a few seconds from the mask than to either:
A) give up on the radiation trap and get burnt for 3 whole minutes until death
B) break your wrist and ankle (along with getting serious burns) and proceeding to slowly and painfully die from radiation poisoning over the next few weeks
I haven’t watched the movie but isn’t the brain trap basically impossible.. with out any knowledge of where and where not to cut in the brain you’ll die lol
I know that I'm not supposed to feel bad for the people in these movies, alot of them are the lowest of the low in society who steal from the poor and hurt the sick, but I still can't help but to internally panic when I picture myself in their shoes LMFAO. Let's hope a real life Jigsaw doesn't come after me for the time I took a candy bar in 6th grade
😂😂 "I want to play a game....."
Don't feel bad.
Trap 8 - Eye vacuum
I'd have survived. 5 broken fingers is no big deal. I'd have been free in under 10 seconds.
Trap 7 - the radiation trap
Id have tried to free my hand first, then my foot. Its doable. I may have survived.
Trap 6 - Pipe bomb
Yeah , cutting up my arms? I think I'd have just run up to Johns window and exploded in his face.
Trap 5 - Disembowl
I'd have probably died
Trap 4 - Blood board
I probably would have lived if the right person was on the other side.
Trap 3 - Gas trap
I'd have lived. I dont care who I have to kill.
Trap 2 - The Brain trap
I would have tried to disable the trap but Im not cutting my head open. I'd have likely died.
Trap 1 - The Giggli saw
I'd have just waited to die. I'm not cutting my leg off.
Solid ranking!
😂😂 true not cutting my own leg off F that lol
you got me laughing with trap 6, I have a feeling the explosion wouldn't do anything or affect John, It is funny imagining that though lol trap 2 and 1 I am with you on, I would be dead.
