It's so weird that the various game makers in the Saw series always know exactly (sometimes down to the second) when someone will wake from unconsciousness. Like the first trap... did they have a train schedule or something? If he had literally been knocked out for an extra minute he would have died without hearing the message or having a chance to free himself.
I always think of this when i watch the movies
maybe he monitors them and turns it on
Plot Armour is a strong thing 😂😅
i'm late to the party but it actually happens in jigsaw ! and kramer went and saved the man since he didn't have his chance
Whats even weird is that you think movies are real 😂😂
Dummy it's a movie ! Not some high quality cctv footage
The Wax Trap seemed like the easiest to beat, honestly; her head wasn't even strapped down so she really could've just craned her head as far as possible to one side and it either would've missed entirely or just scalded her ear.

I like the fact that this Jigsaw killer didn’t spend any time with theatrics. John was like: “this rope tied around your neck is symbolic of the fact you snapped a 5 year old’s neck. Either you will place your hands into my hand cutter machine and cut off both your hands so all necks will be spared from your grasp or you will wait 2 minutes and have my automatic machine snap your neck like you did to my wife’s cousin’s girlfriend’s grandchild”. This guy is like: “Hey you killed a guy, either you die or *you super die”*

wdym? this killer did the exact same thing john did he just made the traps super unfair
@@Azzyy444 Yeah but John acted like the traps would be survivable and beneficial. This guy spares the lies and just gives the victims 2 choices of either a painful death or a more painful death.
OH MY GOD. That last part is unfairly a phrase ill never get to use
Also jigsaw was the villain in most cases but here he is a heroic vigilante.
There was razor wire on that first trap. I noticed the first time watching the movie, he could have used that to cut off his tongue right behind the clamp thing (WAY less painful and dangerous than tearing the entire thing out with his body weight) and jumped aside.
he would bleed out an pass out from the loss of blood and pain
Definitely going to hurt like hell but you would survive.
@@honestdave nope
no way he could cut through his tongue with barbed wire at all, let alone in less than 2 minutes.
@@sameppink9401 Depends how strong and/or determined you are. And still worth trying. Can always jump at the last few seconds if he fails.
Spiral 2: Kramer’s revenge
The copycat killer finds himself in a situation like SAW 3 trapped in a giant building with people they know trapped in elaborate traps
However, to disarm each trap he/she must sacrifice a part of their body (e.g hand, eye, leg etc.) but by the final trap the person should have sacrificed most of their body to save their family and friends leaving the most loved member of their family in a trap that requires a sacrifice that will kill the Copycat killer
Proving a point:
Nobody beats Kramer in his own field of work
That's actually a really cool idea
I thought this movie was gonna be bad because Chris Rock is usually in comedies and to be quite honest, his voice is funny but it surprised me so much. I loved it.

2 things about the 3rd trap. You can’t just touch live wire and not get electrocuted. Especially since your hands are wet. 2, most fishnets are made of nylon which usually takes some force, glass wouldn’t work very well and his fingers were clearly extremely immobile. They were forced straight and could hardly cross each other so he would have no chance grabbing it.

Hi fellow acejoker
Ignoring how so many of the traps throughout the series are ridiculously hard to beat if not rigged, I would consider all of them with a time limit beginning soon after they wake up impossible. They all require you to be thinking clearly and logically to beat, and when waking up after being passed out for a while you’re sort of out of it for a few moments. I once passed out for barely 2 minutes and when I woke up it took me at least 30 seconds to realize where I was and who the people around me were (and I can’t imagine how much longer this would take if you’re alone and in an unfamiliar place). Then there’s the panic. I do not care if you’re a god damn marine there is no way in hell you’re going to calm down in such a short amount of time if you wake up in a elaborate death trap with a psychotic pig man asking to play a game, you can not be trained for that. At best you’d thrash about for a while, at worst you’re sent into a panic attack (probably what would happen to me). Take the finger trap for example, even if you gather your bearings and calm down from panicking in a minute, it’s still gonna take a while to rip your own fingers off. We have the benefit of time, safety, and a clear mind to find solutions.
Buddy no ones reading all that
Note to self: When abducted, if there is a tape recorder involved, only play it after you've investigated as much as possible. It seems to often be a trigger.
Or don't play it at all

for the first trap, I think he could have utilized the wire and cut through his tongue vertically, from the tip to the point of the puncture. this would give him the best chance at survival as long as he has the correct anatomy for a tongue split which is very much possible. if he was to survive, he would be able to talk properly after his tongue is healed.
this is possible because tongue splits are a body modification however it doesn't mean they are necessarily safe to do if he doesn't have the correct anatomy.
He only has 2 minutes to do this
I believe you made a mistake with the bathtub trap. If he grabbed the copper water he would've completed the circuit, and electrocuted himself. Unless he moved it with an insulator, he would've been dead. That is, assuming the copper wire had current flowing through
It's good that you straight up confirm how it's clear the killer isn't Jigsaw. He has no interest in actually giving the cops a chance of life, rather the illusion of it, most likely to further make them suffer.
Most of those traps are 100% escapable without any harm. I mean, they guy could have just left the tub to avoid eletrocution and the retarded woman didn't even move her head upwards.

@@renatoramos8834 that is a good point, tho she was strapped down below her shoulders so even if she moved her head upwards, she won't have enough strength to keep her head upright in that position for the full duration. Those “fishnets” are actually chinese-finger-trap-like wire pulling devices used by electricians to pull wire and cables through conduit. They are made of steel cable. I really don’t think you can cut steel with glass. So like a chinese finger trap, they can only be pulled off by applying pressure forwards. Also, I believe the electricity was already on, so when he would grab the wire to move it, he would be electrocuted.
Yep, agreed. A lot of flaws in this video but still fun to watch.
So it just escape the same way as the Chinese finger trap? That doesn't seem that hard. Especially if you don't activate the machine.

@@mi8los No, just push from the base of your fingers towards the tip of your fingers one at a time….. not a perfect plan, but better than cutting steel with glass and grabbing a live wire while in a tub of water.

I've also seen a few other comments saying this was one she did make unwinnable on purpose
Most of these were made to be unwinnable as well, but the guy had some flaws. Especially with the second one. It's literally a weaponized Chinese finger trap.
Actually, the tongue trap wouldn't be that bad if he just pushed his tongue back through it. He may rip some skin, but that's nowhere near tearing your jaw off or getting splattered by a train. The raising water trap was as easy as just leaving it then taking your time getting your fingers free, which wouldn't be hard either as they're basically just Chinese finger traps, so removing them would be a breeze once at least A finger is freed. Getting out of the hot wax one wouldn't really be an option, but CS's way is the best. Just tilt your head so that it runs away from your nose, and boom. You can wait. You could also purposefully leave your mouth open, so when it gets covered, you can close it and break the wax. For the shredded glass, *just climb on top of it and push the bottles out of the way so they don't fall on* it's not hard, and it has a finite amount, so you would eventually clear it out.
Her head wasn't stuck in place. Take it a step further and move your head away.
The clamp only appeared to have about half of his tongue clamped. I don’t think it would be a 50-50. He’d find help in minutes and I’d say he would have had at least 80% chance of survival if he just immediately cut the tongue. The issue with just dropping is the force could wind up ripping off his jaw.
Tounges are malleable. If you look closely, it wasn't pierced so he could realistically pull his tongue out, no problemo.
Honestly, going after dirty cops seems like a better victim choice than John Kramer picking on low level criminals, drug addicts and people with depression
Yeah but he made them impossible to escape and very short timing
@@ForeverBlooming-05 then they shouldn’t be dirty
John Kramer’s victims were chosen as candidates for transformation; people he saw as evil or wasteful in their lives that needed to be taught the value of the gift of life. All of his traps were survivable tests, at least that was their intention.
These traps weren’t meant to instruct: just to punish.
@@aapgriekseei8900 John Kramer's traps were not always beatable and more often than not required someone to die against their will. And he usually targeted people who more often than not were bad people because of just being delt a bad hand in life. I mean one of his fucking lessons was for a detective to learn to wait for backup, and nearly everyone died because of this "lesson". Just straight up killing corrupt and homicidal officers was probably making a greater positive impact on the community than trying to teach dumb "lessons"

Remember how the first saw was a metagame about one guy needing to hold out for 8 hours while the other had to find a way to kill him to save his family, and the lack of honesty was because any honest moves gave the other a reason to not help them.
Yeah, then it just devolves into elaborate "either die horribly or mutilate yourself while dying horribly. You have 2 minutes. Also it's all your fault."
That's something that I always thought was silly, because the first Saw was so complex specifically because it only revolves around one room and one case - the rest of the series doesn't really click because you don't have the same 'who could Jigsaw be' feeling. The individual traps are memorable because they're vignettes that you get just to heighten tension in the main room - you're _scared_ through the whole movie because at any moment things could get _real._

It is possible however that if you grab onto the live wire with one of your hands which is grounded, that you short-circuit the circuit, but it's also possible that only one of the hands are grounded, leaving a 50% chance of having high voltage flow through your heart
I can’t be the only one who would rather just die instead of doing all these things to myself
Thats the jigsaw trap philosophy, theyre meant to pull out your most primal survival instinct.
Yeah that’s the whole point. We feel like we’d want to just die, but when put on the spot some primal part of us wants to survive despite everything. Just like how they say almost all the people jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge who survived regretted jumping during the fall, even people who commit suicide still have a hard coded survival instinct at the face of death.

i got a question, was the partner(the one in the butcher shop) who died also a bad cop?
im kinda curious since i dont know the reason why he died
nvm had to rewatch it
I believe the copycat intentionally made the traps to be unfair just as how the victims were gravely unlawful and corrupt.
But I think he somewhat missed Kramer's point by not giving them an actual chance to survive.
Yeah Kramer’s intention was never vengeance: he wanted people to learn their lesson. To kind of “redeem” themselves for their past misdeeds. I know that he got a bit carried away in what he perceived to be a “misdeed” as the original film series went on, but he shot one of his protégées dead for rigging the traps to be unbeatable. So he would’ve HATED this new guy.
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios he never tried to take revenge? he literally kidnapped the whole healthcare department which denied covering insurance after he was diagnosed with an inoperable disease (brain tumor i think?) And made them play an unwinnable game.
And Jhon didnt shoot Amanda, he was secretly testing her, she failed and jeff shot her.
Oh yeah and by doing that they wouldn't get a chance to "better their lives"
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios I think none of Kramer's apprentices got the point. Amanda, Hoffman, they all made their games unwinnable.

The finger trap "nets" look like cable socks for pulling cables through conduits, if they are, then its a steel wire, not netting, impossible to cut. Though when pushed towards itself, it opens up quite easily, this should of been a priority... the copper wire would not be able to be touched to remove either, i would suggest using the fluorescent light bulb to lift the wire in the air and allow the water to over flow.
"If we run up and pull these wires, then even if the pool overflows, we won't be electrocuted"
Id go as for to say
"If we run up and pull these wires, then even if the pool stays, we'll be electrocuted"
Did you seriously just say that you won't be electrocuted if you pull on the conductor of electricity?
Did you seriously forget that copper in this game, is literally as dangerous as the water? It is absolutely painful trying to witness "If we grab this conductor of electricity, to move it from this conductor of electricity, we will not be electrocuted from a conductor of electricity"
I'm not saying a cop wouldn't go out of their way to help someone but no way an off duty cop in a nice suit is going to go crawling through a sewer without backup over a purse.
Even a uniformed on duty cop ain't doing that. It's petty theft. They would just call it in and write a report
Jigsaw would get shit on in real life cuz 99.9% nothing goes the way jigsaw wants. Like you said he wouldn't go down
And the killer chose him because he lied under oath? Happens every day pal, you’d have more cops to kill in creative ways than you could handle.
But let’s face it, everyone is insanely stupid in a horror movie. It’s like a curse of bad script writing where common sense doesn’t exist.
@@JimsyFlimsy thus isn't even stupid though, it's just not something a person would do
"With no choice he follows the purse snatcher into the hole"
Yeah he had a choice to literally walk away. He was off duty, not mention sewers are incredibly dangerous with them being filled with toxic fumes, bacteria, and viruses. It would have been smarter for him to walk away and let an on duty cop know what he saw so they can get some people in hazmat suits to go collect a corpse and filthy purse later.
To be fair, he was a dirty cop so he might have been feeling righteous that moment or you know might as well atone a little. Not every dirty cop planned to be dirty after all.
Screw following him into a sewer, I wouldn't chase him into a dark alley. With it being fourth of July no one is gonna hear you if you scream for help, better to see some lady lose her purse, than you loosing your life.
I think u dropped this:👑✨
They do understand if your threatened you don’t go to a random place alone
Jigsaw is rolling around in his grave at these. Goes against everything he stood for and it completely takes out the suspense/wondering if they'll make it or not when the traps are impossible. 90 seconds? 2 minutes to solve a trap? Snapping your spine or dying? Ripping out your tongue and dying or getting hit by a train? What a crock...
You realize the point of this guys games were to intentionally kill them right? For what they did to his dad

@@stopthecap3768 exactly, I'm not a psycho or anything but if someone does those exact traps to him, would he really be able to escape from that? It's all fun and games until you're in that situation where you'll be easily overwhelmed by stress and panic.
@@chobitsph4773 well, what you say is 100% right. What if cinema summary is in this situation? He would panic right? But his thinking is pretty good at analysing the whole situation. Of course, I can't say that he would beat any death trap just by that

Tongue trap also had quick links . If you are fast enough unscrew and disconnect the tongue trap from the chains.
Some additional idea: Since he was informed about the Killer's goal of killing cops from the very start I'd have argued for a buddy system at all times and regular check ins.
No Cop should go anywhere alone, which will make it a lot harder for the killer to isolate them and if a cop is the killer then there will be someone who can notice him slipping away.
Thats the obvious thing to do

There’s actually an easier way to beat the electric water trap, the fishing nets around the fingers actually work really similarly to the Chinese finger trap meaning that if u push ur finger bit towards the end off the fish net it will make the hole wider making it easier to just pull out ur finger from the trap

You mentioned the FBI, but the reality is that as soon as the killer mailed something to them the FBI should have been brought in. At that point it's already a federal case.
16:16
Wait wait wait wait... So she saw the killer, and then immediately proceeded to turn her back on him to try and escape through the closed door? Not shoot him in the chest or leg, but to run away when his hands were at his sides, and he had no obvious weapons.
Ignore the deathtraps the movie should've ended right there! Based on how the gas bombs were thrown there's no way for him to have hid them somewhere where they could be launched. He had to throw them. She had him at the most vulnerable moment possible and only decided to shoot after the gas had filled the room...
I'm done
That was legit aggravating to see the perfect opportunity wasted. The killer was literally begging to get shot and have his little revenge plot go flushing down the toilet.
