- Combinations of star levels to reach 2k resonance (all requiring rank 4 x/5 gems in each slot):
two 2/5 + four 2/5
OR
one 2/5, two 3/5, three 4/5
OR
four 3/5, two 4/5
Total cost of one rank 3 x/5 gem = 125 gem power (equivalent to a rank 9 one star gem or rank 6 two star gem) + 1 duplicate
Total cost of one rank 4 x/5 gem = 225 gem power (equivalent to a rank 10 one star gem or rank 7 two star gem) + 2 duplicates
Rank 5 of an x/5 gem is near unreachable as F2P, requiring 5 duplicates and 250 gem power for that one upgrade, so make sure your star level is at the desired amount at the rank 4 upgrade - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Great video, I appreciate your style of communication. Alot of the other DI content creators just speed through important info, causing me to have to replay several times and it's frustrating when trying to learn something. Hi Kras. Great video! Need some advice. I’ve been very lucky with drops and on the market. Currently running 2 4/5 stars r3, 2 3/4 stars r4, fervent fang r6, and berserkers r10 awakened. If I were to get lucky and find a 3/5 or above again would you replace the ff or berserkers?
Since you have the berserkers awakened, I would keep that over Fervant Fang. It definitely feels weird replacing FF though since the copies are limited haha but I scrapped mine to upgrade my echoing shade

Haha thank you! That was my main goal too, since low spenders should definitely take f2p advice too since they're still limited on resources, but you'll definitely progress faster if spending some
As someone who's just started within just over a little over a month ago, I would love to see a updated version of this video since they've updated the game since and it now costs 320 embers just for one Eternal Legendary Crest or 400 embers just to get 80 Runes so you can craft a Two Star Gem compared to what you and all other players had to spend.
How did you get 100 orbs as a complete f2p? I am at 1740res complete f2p but I never got any orbs from any event. (I play a good amount of alts and would probably be around your resonance without it, was at 840 before I started playing any alts.)
Good question! Leftover from a Halloween cosmetic my fiance gifted me. Yeah that sounds about right, getting close to the 2k mark with alts. If I had the time I'd maybe do the same.
Are you going to keep trying to climb past rank 4 on your gems with alts? I have a feeling I'm going to just stop my resonance grind at that point but curious to hear what others want to do
@@kras5785 Just upgraded the first gem to level 5 this week, Concentrated will duplicates were between 24k and 27k on the market so I decided to get that one to level 5. I now run the warband emblem 60 times each week. Takes about 3h, and that is a average profit of 100k plat each week.

Yeah concentrated will is definitely the best gem to try and r5 as f2p, and it's very useful on certain classes. Other easy options could be Hellfire depending on server, or Zwensons (but then you have to slot Zwensons, ew)
I might try to push my hellfire to 5 in the future once I've filled my other gem slots, but we'll see!
Unless you're exploiting with alts, or working on getting platinum from market sales. The likelihood of getting 2k resonance is dismal. The weak amount of bound legendary crests for f2p, is just that, weak. Because f2p is mainly given bound crests, that primarily restricts all those legendary gems to be bound, so no platinum sale's with those. The few unbound crests that are able to be obtained, as well as the crafting of them, there's that slim chance that you might get a worthwhile drop, for either sale, dupe, or power fodder.
Yeah it's definitely not the most fun grind, but 2k is about at the limit I see possible. I currently have four rank 3 x/5 gems, so i'm getting closer but the slow platinum grind to buy some 4 stars is def gonna suck.
Part of the fun for me though is seeing if i can do it haha so i'll keep trying! Might get a boost to our platinum after the normal gem update too, my plan is to sell until i get 2k resonance then keep for myself after since i'm sure they'll be the next most important grind
Wait how are you getting 12 unbound gems a day? Alts? Even then I'd say that's in a week no?
When you play in a group of 4, unbound gems drop in dungeons / over world farming. You're capped at 12 per day 🙂
Used to be more do-able. Blizzard has severely strangled the f2p resonance grind.
Currently I'm 1730 resonance free to play need more drop for gem upgrades

I would consider you that. Hell, i have spent around 250 dollars and i consider myself a F2P lol. That is how crazy the spending in this game is. I spent only to get my T1 wings, but i wont spend more money on this game now i got them other than the battle pass.

I don't want to be a slave to this game I will never do alts lol... I'm paragon 210 in 8 days and I just 260 resonance diablo is not life lol
Haha that's been my mentality too! Alt farming seems way too time consuming and if that was majority of my time I'd feel like I'm not even playing.
Good news is since I don't use alts, everything I show can be achieved by any other f2p players without alts 😊
im 3k resonance as f2p, but i would also like to add that i have 300 alt characters that i run every week for eternal legendary crest.
It takes about 6-8 hours total to harvest all 300 eternal crests weekly.
I'm gonna assume you're joking cuz I'd imagine it to be 6-8 hours per day with that many accounts 😂 if not trolling then I respect the grind I could never bring myself too haha
@@kras5785 oh not joking at all, it takes 8 hours a week to harvest all the eternal legendary crests of 300 characters. Ive min maxed the method to save time.
The long part is creating a character from lvl 1 to 36. Which will take an hour per character on average,running all together at the same time. My wife helped me, shes 2k resonance, and our clan has a lot of 1.5k reso f2p thanks to the farm i harvest weekly.
I dont bother myself with normal gems, just straight go for the eternal crest weekly, on average get 15 5 star gems after harvesting, minimum profit of 500k weekly.
