People should rethink about buying packs and heirlooms after the algs hack. Ea doesn't need money they need to fix and maintain the game.
Tell that to this dude, he’s the first to buy the whole event and that encourages these practices
Kinda small brain, the marketing team and dev team are completely separate the devs are gunna work on it regardless if you buy PACKs or not
It’s not even the general player base. It’s these influencers that keep buying it! CZcamsrs/streamers/pros. They’re the ones keeping EA rich and greedy. It’ll stop once influencers stop. But that’ll never happen let be real.

1 they have been updating on the hack, 2 yk fixing that and finding out what happened takes more than a couple of days right? There isnt just one team that works on cosmetics and events that also works on the code in game. I agree its bad timing to put out an expensive event while this is happening but just because they do doesnt mean they dont care abt the hack and that they arent doing anything to try and fix it
The department that handles things related to the hacking will hopefully release news on it when they can. It takes a lot of time to either follow the thread on the hacker or they can't speak for legal reasons. This patch comes from another side of the studio that has their own set of deadlines they release things regardless of what else is going on. Ea sucks but respawn is a great team show them some support at least.
And if they dont release new content you guys complain the game is dead 😂

she really dont need anything before upgrade mechanics yes i was always suggesting that that gave her 2 charges or have her snare capture more than 1 person or make it to where her snare silences enemies i was hyped wen they added both of the first 2 lol but if they do buff her it’ll be her ult range honestly they can remove either of her lvl 2 upgrades for a ult perk like wraith’s oh yeah but we do need her snare to be able to be used when doing stuff like healing, shooting , and zipling thats really it

Ash will def get a buff, it‘s a team of 6 people, they only have 24 hours a day
It will come eventually, it seems like they are adamant about monitoring performance. This is the most buffs/nerfs legends have seen in a really long time 👍🏼

normally id say no because we already have hairloom recolors but its EA and we have another deathbox.

There was a time not long ago when Shiv was considered a maverick for playing her in comp, and she not changed at all since then, other than her ult nerf. You’re confusing popular with unbalanced.

I feel like Bangalore passive shouldn't even trigger through smoke as enemies dont really see you, do they? That doesn't make sense. Same with Catalyst wall.
It mentions updates to 3 Strikes in those notes that you didn't mention. Clearly that'll be coming back again soon.
Bang will still be meta. She just won't be able to farm free damage with smokes now.
Rev and Conduit seem like they are about to be nerfed out of the game entirely, though.
"Not a fan of the pricing" but I'm still gonna buy it to show it off so EA can keep getting away with this.

Either way, I still agree with this overall message. You can't really complain about prices if you're also paying and supporting those prices.. It's a business at the end of the day and if you're going to pay for a $360 deathbox skin they're going to charge $360 for the next one as well, kind of common sense. (Not saying you specifically TGM, you cool)
One of the most useful quality of life changes is you can turn off the dummy highlights in the range which gives you more match like feel.
Do you know if the security issue was fixed by this patch?
I think a SeerHound meta could work. Definitely helped me during that copycat event
FF7 event's heirloom system was an experiment. They're trying to recreate it now

The Seer upgrade perks named on this is not the same names as his actual perks so who knows what was integrated and moved around good job respawn 🙄
Tactical reduce activation by 0.2 seconds and “racing hearts” (ability perk to move faster while aiming with the tactical) is integrated to his normal Tactical without the need of the perk, Perk to throw Ultimate farther is moved to lvl2 and Perk to Scanned a longer distance is moved to lvl3

@@EphyumI sure won't be getting it. It'll be a 1/500 and it looks like you only get 1 free event pack. I don't have $700 to drop on a skin, I'd rather buy a higher end monitor or something.
@@ArdentMoogle we know of one free one, but we also saw at least two free ones from the reputation event shop, plus crafted ones. so now it's around [(499/500)(499/500)(499/500)(499/500)] for the average player
3:05 i feel like having weapons with different spawn rates within wepoan type is stupid. We go to higher loot tier zones not for weapons but for attachments and other stuff.
Here is me running and searching through full 3 POIs and finding not a single sniper ammo weapon. But next game i drop in and get only sniper rifle ammo weapons everywhere.
Devs really need to rework how weapons spawn at their core. I mean making it a bit more controlled, not fully random as it is now i imagine. Just make it so different weapons are more evenly spread out over POIs. Especially by ammo type. I hate to find all purple for lite weapon but there are only marksman and pistols around.
How do they leave Ash out again? Upgrades on blue could do with a change.
I love how Bangalore has been balanced since she came out and continues to get nerfed over and over again because she is so versatile and solid. They give mini buffs to some legends that are merely placebo then nerf other legends out of meta and just leave them to rot. Also Idgaf about revenant tactical, it’s that brain dead amount of hp on his ult that is the problem. He’s still gonna be a cancer to face but now have a poopy tactical.
patch notes are clearly influenced by pro league bang blood caustic is meta comp and all of them were nerfed. sucks cause all of them are balanced in ranked/casual but not in pro. wish they had seperate servers/stats for pro/reg

i know revenant need a nerf but they also removed a lot fun of playing him by removing tactical cooldown refresh and speed up during ult and increasing ult cooldown even if you take the new perks, they could reduce the shield to 50 (maybe also removed the increased hitbox if needed) while only removing tactical refresh so it is locked behind the refresh perks and maybe reduce the tactical cooldown speed up during ult and also not increasing at least not to a whole minute the ultimate cooldown but the tactical cooldown reduction perks lvl chancge is a good idea imo also make the third party perks more revelant cause a quote can be easily missed even by the users but at least the chan,ge they made make revenant more balance
by the way the pathfinder buff is a bad idea imo, i don't want to deal with whole squad pushing me real quick tho in straight line while they take half damage, just imagine if i play r99 (a full headshot purple clip might not even kill a blue shield) but i understand they are new to the perk system and need time to balance everything tho still good job

No. If it is like the Final Fantasy event which it is set up as... This universal heirloom will be a 1 time thing. A tactic of greed if I do say so myself :( So pray to the Apex gods or bend over and open that wallet nun much else to say abt it :/

I would like it if they made it to where his drone view replaces his minimap when it is deployed past a certain range away, so he can keep an eye on it even when things aren't blatantly highlighted. That, and maybe a real passive.

Please PLEASE @THE GAMING MERCHANT can you get a word to the devs and talk to them about the continuing nerfs to Bangalore. She has been reduced to a civilian and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I've been a main for the longest time and honestly it's awful to see not only her being nerfed but all the other buffs and additions to other legends making her very close to unusable, definitely frustrating, especially when they nerfed the consistency of the actual smoke. Legends can scan you through the smoke and even fuse now gets double time, reducing her uniqueness and averaging out her kit. Bangalore is an amazing legend that people love to play, she HAD the most rounded out kit and one of the most consistent pick rates because so many other legends are disrupted by her play style which is a good thing for the meta and for clutch plays even in 1 v 3. The ability to damage somebody with smoke for 10 points made it a skill to know when to finish people with smoke. Is she a legend or not? You've got Horizon that has gravity lifts and massive movement with her, octane, pathfinder being able to fly across the map and Anita can't even keep up her double time when hit with one bullet under pressure. She's a super soldier, at least give her the ability to see enemies in her own smoke and continue double time without it being interrupted and slowed when hit by a bullet for a short duration so she can actually get away. Too much of this game is reducing good quality legends and their kit so more squads can ape. Please who is responsible for these decisions we need to know. Love & kindness

You can maybe, maybe argue bang has been secretly OP all this time (I've always rated her) but the fact it has taken so many uears since launch for anyone to really notuce shows she was only ever slightly too strong. As such, such a strong nerf is crazy. Meanwhile, the ballistic changes really go to highlight how lazy the other boring perks have been. Why isnt there a pathy upgrade oath that lets you choose a faster grapple speed or a faster grapple cooldown, for instance.

Why did they have to GUT bangalore like that. I knew them adding perks would only result in nerfs to the character that you get back via perks making the character after perks basically feel the same as they did before perks were even a thing. Great job respawn...
EXACTLY, I think it is so dumb when they give nerfs for no reason, these perks are very lazy just reverting the change.
IM SAYING!!! She had pretty nice perks and felt balanced honestly, she was pretty good but not broken, now she has no perks because you need to chose one to remove the nerf and the level 2 ones are simply bad

That's the whole point though, the characters that had that treatment were so annoying in the meta (bang, horizon, cat, conduit). I think we can all agree bang has been meta for wayyyyy too long

The timing of this announcement makes me sad. Normally I would be frothing over this - they clearly put a lot of good work into this event. But right next to the low-effort communication about the hacks... This tells me that the Apex team aren't taking their security seriously.

Why take an upgrade that reduces tactical cooldown by 5 seconds, when you could take an upgrade that simply makes tactical a little more worth using in fights by itself? I mean, I think the only reason people use tac is when also using ultimate anyway because it's faster to use.

The thing is when digi got removed from smgs they literally upped her playtime since now it’s a bit harder to track in smokes, and they keep nerfing her ult 😂
she's never been balanced, especially in pro play. her smoke meta is abysmal and the most annoying meta in the game
@bilepunch You don't know what you're talking about. She was never used in pro play by anyone other than Shiv. He popularized her for casuals, but she only started to see high level use two seasons ago, when the digi was in the replicator during ALGS.
Storm point it's always stormpoint the map we all hate and instead of giving us good old kings kanyon they will give us the same old map for another 30+ days😢

The Bang nerf is infuriating to see as a long time Bang main. The only reason she's so strong in the meta is BECAUSE they took the digi threat away from smgs and nerfed the scan legends to the ground couple seasons back. Bang isn't even that good and her perks are less than mediocre, it's just that people have no idea how to play against her since shiv was like the only Bang main in comp ever. Respawn really is made of clowns 💀
She is played a ton in ranked still and is top 3-5 pick in every rank of Apex.

@@llwyd564 not about meta but about some kind of balance, most scan legends are horrible rn. nobody played bang even before seer was around.
I agree that they should do more buffs overall but I don't think anything short of making scan characters completely broken is going to directly counter Bangalore. The only thing I can think to do is give a handful of legends perks that somehow make smokes dissipate faster or something along those lines. Also I just don't think these nerfs are going to gut the legend. She will always be a great pickup because her passive is fun as Hell and smokes will never not be valuable. Her ult is pretty average but its so easy to use that you're almost guaranteed to get value out of it every single time. @@The_Wither_Skull
