@@9684yami while I agree with the ban waves, they need to start issuing hardware bans.
Pull motherboard ids and ban those.
Ban consoles.
At least then the cost to entry is at least the cost of replacing the hardware. rather than 5-10 minutes setting up a spoof email address.
@@rickamsler3088 they do hwid bans. the problem is you can bypass them just as easy as setting up an email with a quick google search.
They’re so bad at tracing cheaters, but try to screw them financially and you’re gone in like a hour. I tried to screw EA twice in my life (Cheap keys first, Argentinian coins second) and my account was gone in a matter of hours after. Other companies are easy on this, but those greedy bastards would absolutely F you up, even if you end up paying them, but just a bit less.

@Grabient no one legit has a KD of 30 on apex. Most high ranking legit preds have a 4 or 6. Metrics alone also can account for accuracy, and or accuracy over distance.
there are multiple people with 3x pred badges cheating, some of these guys go almost an entire year without a ban, a season is anywhere from 70-90 days x3 pred badges is over half a year.

It’s really not brain dead. No one was playing ranked, and the people that really wanted to try ranked were the new people, but it takes 100-150 hours to get to level 50, and by that point it’s better to go play any other game that you can play ranked within 2 weeks

that was a slight problem, but being able to que with any rank is the main problem, they were given 2 skips, they don't need to spend 5 dollars per account now, they don't need to spend 2 days rage hacking to que with there buds/boost buyers. even if they rage hack and get banned now, its actually just 20 mins away from playing again and right from where they left off without any form of delay.
heres a few examples of why youre wrong. 1) Why would a casual players with 0 hours jump immediately into ranked before learning the game 2) The game is over 5 years old now, new players are far and few between. Youd be lucky to see a few thousand new players a year. 90%+ of new accounts are just smurfs. Smurfing is used to combat their absolutely abominable SBMM. 3) The only thing veteran players ARE DOING is playing ranked. Theres no point in pubs anymore. 20 bombs are luck, 4ks are easy, this isnt 2019 where everyones kill grinding trying to show off badges. Ranked should be level 100 at this point. The game is old. If youre not that level yet, you clearly have no interest in the game. Why play ranked if youre just going to hit gold and quit. Thats not making apex money which is ultimately all they care about. I don't know why respawn put the rank level back to 10. 50 was perfect. No one wanted the level to be moved back.

Yeah, 20 was probably less than an hour with cheats.
Perhaps the idea was to let newer players play ranked early. New season updates attract new players etc. But yeah I agree, lv 50 was perfect.
@hull5697 new players shouldn't play ranked imo. They aren't ready. Get to 50, get some kills and wins under you. Then worry about ranked

I am not good at this game: unranked and 0.5 KD at best. Every pubs match I get put against obvious smurfs and Masters and Preds. I wish they would fix the matchmaking so I don't get absolutely destroyed every game and can learn better playing against people my own skill level.

I remember arenas used to be the outlet for this, I remember joining one of my kinda scrub friends ranked arenas games and our opponents were like actual potatoes which were actual balanced opponents for him lol
@@m13848 nah I created a smurf account to try a challenge climb, so naturally had a positive KD. From the 3rd match, the amount of obvious smurfs was insane. I never saw that movement even on my main account. Till i realized some people just have pure joy rolling new/bot players cause they easy and it makes them feel good.
My best advice, when three strikes comes back, play the crap out of that! You'll learn so much from that. Straight shot doesn't have you needing to loot and upgrade weapon attachments which is good for basics but you wanna try play anything at any given moment.
and this is why i don't care about pred badges anymore, i don't touch ranked above plat just because it straight up is a headache to go through anything higher with all the cheating fucks
also you can fight against much MUCH higher skilled opponents than you should

Ye lately I'm also getting shot through walls, never happened in prior seasons.
I used to get shot though walls, but managed to shoot through too. Only happens right after goin around the corner

@8:55 that’s what’s been happening to me. Not only does the enemies gun shoot way faster than mine but they don’t miss a single shot or run out of ammo and need to reload. Even the best apex players miss atleast a few shots.
Tbh the cheater problem is a lot worse than just at apex pred. U run into so many suspicious low level accounts that are being boosted and since they are trying to sell the accounts they quit using their cheats or at least the aim bot when u spectate them. I used to think they sucked really bad and thats why they wud lose their next fight all the time like but i now i think they lose on purpose to move on to the next game where they hope no one will spectate them

Matchmaking in this game is one of the worst ive ever witnessed in a game. Ive never gotten a 3K badge & i constantly have 20 kill/4K & Masters opponents in my lobby.
4k and 20kill badges doesn't define skills bro
@omaralhadidi4970 20 kill isn't a huge deal but most with 4k badge are substantial better than average
As someone who has plenty of both, it's much harder to nab a 20 bomb than a 4k...anyone can farm a 4k if they have some skill.@@JonathanGeb

i feel like cheating is more obvious with the lack of configs in game now that and people who "can't play without their configs" are most likely resorting to full blown cheats at this point too.

The sad truth is that it does not only affect Apex. One day, hopefully, we will get an AI anticheat that will be able to detect and ban a cheater right away.

Easily the most cheaters I've seen of any season. Also kinda crazy how he's even getting matched with a pred player in the first place.
To be fair he was top 20k in the world. As more people populate diamond plats not 3 stacking wont see masters+
I still don't understand why respawn doesn't locks ranked until level 100 at least. New payers shouldn't be playing ranked anyways until they have experience and cheaters would have a more difficult time to get to ranked
I don't think increasing the required level effectively addresses the issue of cheating. It's already like an 80 hour investment to hit level 50, and cheaters can buy accounts from people or in some cases steal them. All the level cap does is put a barrier that punishes people who want to play ranked.
I switched to PC and MnK, I have zero desire to play pubs. I got to level 32 before just giving up and stopped playing the game entirely except for dicking around in the range.
I used to get a few wins a day while playing just for a few hours... now im lucky if i get a win. Thank god for the kill cam, cuz now i see people not even aiming at me and killing me with less shots than i give, even with the same gun.
You don't want to know how many channels showcasing cheats I got recommended, and the amount of views/comments of people trying to get their hands into those cheats is disturbing.What is the idea of playing a game if you're not gonna play it?
I swear if I'm a dev, I'll definitely place the ban to the IP instead of just the account, it's possible, that way they can't come back unless they buy a VPN and that's an issue, but there will be less cheaters nonetheless. Banning an IP might also deny the use of other games of the same app, that way people will think twice before using cheats.

We shouldn't have to laugh it off. EA need a dedicated team to find the exploits and fix them and ban the cheaters. 1 dude who seems to just be a front isn't good enough.

At this point, I wonder if they're not doing anything because the cheaters (not legit obviously but talking about the "legit" ones who are far more numerous) represent probably about half of their community. But that's just my opinion of course
I play only solo queue on console and I'm hardstuck gold 1 because platt lobbies are swamped with Xim and Chronus users. The only time I go positive in rank is when I have an abuser on my team. It's so clear when you spectate them and they're soft snapping to targets and crouch spamming even when they're shooting from crazy distances. It honestly hurts but still somehow feels better than what season 19 had going on
Chronus was made incompatible to PlayStation users, and XIM is pointless since controller is the better and more natural input for 99% of players on console. If you’re hard stuck gold 1 right now, I’m afraid you’re just not good enough to compete at the highest levels bro. You’re probably lacking in IQ, or aim or movement or maybe all of the above.

Fought the same pathfinder who was cheating three games in a row (in gold lobbies). Ran the entire game and respawned my teammates 4 times. Just so unenjoyable.

Respawn say they got rid of MMR, yet you're pairing with a D2 and pred while you're platinum 😂
If you are platinum 2 by now you are already in the 0.1% of all players across all platforms! So finding teammates on your rank is kinda meh at this point in time.
There are only like 1000 masters right now and that includes the 750 of them that take up the pred leaderboard.
That happens every season. Nothing new. If you play solo and get to masters fairly quickly there will be times when literally nobody is playing in your region and you get literally gold 4 players and their best friend wich is still in silver 3 all while you are like 3 RP away from being number 750... Yeah that happend
You get matched with people in your current range. If a pred is climbing and in gold, he’ll be matched against other people who are gold at that time. In other words, it’ll be easier to climb near the end of the split when the cheater accounts and good players have all reached masters.

MMR is real.. I was rookie 3 playing with gold II player's makes no sense, I mean I did fine but it's a massive gap from rookie to gold and I haven't played since season 2.

This is just NA getting a small taste of what the APAC servers have been like for years. Japanese pros still play a lot on NA servers with 160+ ping because even with all the cheaters you have now it's not as bad.
I’ve always believed that like 90% of these streamers/preds everyone idolize are cheating in some way shape or form and I’ve just been left speechless the last few years as to how no one calls them out

Way back in Battlefield 3 days I got a 2 week gameplay ban for using a swear word on their forums… 6 months before I got reported for the ban.

respawn has to increase it way higher for you to play ranked, ain't no way they allow this to happen this easily, cause all a cheater has to do is get like 30 kills in a fresh account and they basically are ready to get into ranked, like c'mon respawn, you made it easier for cheaters
In my ranked games I got killed by a lot of cheaters this season
instead of making a video saying to laugh and giggle at people cheating and to not worry about it, i would love an episode or video dedicated to actually educating the community on cheaters, cronus users, script users, and exploiters.
One of the reasons i stopped playing rank matches and never went up from the lowest rank

They're everywhere. Its at the point i'm thinking of taking a break from this season. even in regular trios getting aimbotted down
It's a sad reflection of the age of gaming we live in. Halo 2 days, pure unadulterated talent and gameplay vs now is no comparison. For me it started getting noticeable and killing games with the Division, then it spread - nowadays you simply cannot get a fair shake of the dice on any popular game.
Halo 2 was full of cheaters, by the time Halo 3 came out they had handled it for the most part I believe. Halo 2 had hard mods once you got past level 30 they would just fly to the top of the map and instant kill everyone. Then standby and team standby became popular, where they would force host to one of their teammates and then that player would use a firewall to disconnect the lobby every few seconds for free kills. Then they started console banning cheaters by the time Halo 3 rolled around and it mostly died off.

Was running into blatant cheaters in gold and lower lobbies. I usually don't run into much in my low ranked lobbies but it's been bad this season.

It's getting absolutely terrible I had a cheater off drop smoke me and one clip me through the smoke with a flatline not missing one bullet and its just disgusting and ruining the game for people like us that want to build the skill and be better or just even to have fun you can't be of the cheaters
I've gotten a few "preds" on my team and they all go down instantly, had one die with zero damage after 2 fights. Unless people are buying these account idk. The pred 3 stacks I run into on the other hand are ridiculous 😅. But unless we get a actual anti cheat to actually hardware ban these people then it won't stop, it's almost like they want these people playing and creating accounts nonstop. I was watching a yt"re and he ran into a teaming 6 stack in ranked smh

This is an issue and so are the servers, my ping will spike from 23-60 ping and then go to 4373

cheating is rampant everywhere now even in normals. it's absolutely ridiculous. Some of the cheats are subtle. some are blatantly obvious. But it's made the game unplayable for me. I think that's why single player games or games like Hell Divers 2 are popular now. Cause good ol co op without the BS.

Its not about cheating its about the profit margins for these companies, the free to play model has pushed this even more so because as they EA see it wales pay enough money to justify not doing the right thing for the gamers/customer but alas we are but consumers to them.
My previous season's KD was 1.80+ to 2.0. In season 20 my kD is 0.80+. I even ran into a 9k kills horizon cheater with wall hack + auto trace bullet. how tat even possible..
Me and my random teammate once got flamed in a gunrun by a player that had over a million kills on wraith. He was like your aim is dogshit yadada. I really had bad aim that day but no need to get verbally abused.. I came from dying horribly to actually placing top 3 damage/kills in most td/control/gunrun... ranked 20 feels like too many sweats running around. Really only started playing season 18. I tried season 16 on Nintendo switch.. switch was horrible to play on. Now I play on steam deck
Sadly, even without actual hacks, people are still using zens to cheat and those are somewhat hard to detect :( I hope apex doesn't fall off because I finally got addicted to it again after years of not playing..

I thought you can only que ranked with people within a division of yours, so how can level 10 cheaters or apex predators be in your game?
Between removing the party rank restrictions and the reducing level limit to 10 theyve made cheating a lot easier. I really wish they would put the limit back up and some requirement like 2FA or buying the battlepass to play ranked.
They reduced rank level because they thought they had solved the issue with cheaters. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case.
i have seen Alucard and been stream sniped by them never once thought they were playing legit.
