Vanguard cant do anything about dma let alone eac’s paid version. Other then detecting overused firmware for the cards you’re only 100 bux away for someone to make you a 1/1 version and you’ll never get caught.
No company has a solution to the issues laid out in this video. DMA devices, AI cheats from and other hardware/off-PC based cheats are near impossible to detect. Online pvp gaming has become a joke and there's nothing any developer can do about it.
The new season has made high elo lobbies very competitive, and the main thing that’s done for me is make me realize how many cheaters there actually are. They were doing manual bans near the beginning of the split and some of my pred games would have 5+ people get banned. Many of which I recognized and had died to multiple times already. Wouldn’t be surprised if matchmaking gets turned down again just so cheaters will be more spread out and people think there’s less of them.
I stopped playing during the rat meta seasons and stomped pubs, I got pretty good (in my opinion) finally get a good season of ranked and now pretty much as soon as I got into the top 10% of players I run into cheaters pretty much every game, sucks because I'm 27 and feel like apex might have been my last hoorah when it comes to gaming, I'm to old(imo) to have time to commit to something new and grind to high skill again, that and apex is genuinely the best feeling game, cheaters might have just ended my love for competitive gaming
And yet, Respawn refused to hound Easy Anti Cheat to impliment A.I to fix the gapping holes. So many different tools and software out there they could use, but then in their internal meetings "But Sally, i wont get my 3 week vacation to bora bora if we invest in a company we have to pay more money to" I hate wallstreet for giving this mentality to companies.

Lemme tell you about a game called Ark. Ark survival evolved released back in like 2015. Game always had a massive cheat problem. Every pc pvp game does nowadays. Anyways snail games and wildcard rereleased ark survival evolved as ark survival ascended on unreal engine 5 with “upgraded” performance. The first day of release they were entirely broken cheats, “teleporting projectiles” so not only was it aimbot, u could be killed through any structure and any mesh, and the cheat websites even gave out free 3 day trials. For cheats to be that advanced on the day of release is unheard of. And considering what is out there about the ark black market and cheating corruption from snail games, the publisher of ark who basically owns wildcard, and given the objective of reselling an updated ark survival evolved was to garner money for ark 2, my friends and I quickly put together that the cheats were produced by none other than the devs themselves. It’s a cash grab. 100% no doubt. And I wouldn’t be surprised if other game companies do this. Snail games is another level of corruption though. I can only hope apex isn’t following suit.

So yes i think sharing it wouldnt be bad and would likely get people like EA to step up and do something, which tbh i dont understand why they dont just get Google to remove websites selling these cheats even if its only a temporary fix, bc starting these websites and stuff could drain the pockets of these cheaters more easily.
Respawn needs to allow hosting game servers yourself, just like in the old days. Where you can admin your own (passworded) server, and create a community around it.
I played a ton of S18, but skipped S19 as I was burnt out. I came back for S20, and have been loving it....until I hit Gold recently. I was lucky enough to wait for the higher skilled players to get to the ranks they deserve, but as soon as I approached the Gold ranks, I started noticing more and more cheaters killing me and my friends, many of whom are high Plats and Diamond ranks. Granted, I do not see anywhere near the amount that Pred lobbies see, but every rank I go up the numbers increase. I now make a habit of recording my gameplay and habitually reading over the Death Recap and spectating my killers if I think anything weird happened. For example, yesterday I got killed by some solo player who was ratting in the weirdest spot I have ever seen on Olympus, and he killed me with a Volt by doing 129 dmg in 9 SHOTS with NO ATTACHMENTS. My squad was able to kill him, but the short clip I saw of him clearly showed an aimbot. This was in a high tier Gold and Plat lobby, so just imagine what it is like as you approach Diamond/Masters. This season has everything it needed to be a great one, but EA and Respawn's failure to solve the cheater problem is going to kill this game, and I feel bad for the devs who made the amazing changes happen for S20, bc all their hard work is going down the drain. I'm on PC, and from what I hear the cheating problem is even worse on Consoles.
This is hilarious in a sad way. Basically the NA servers are now exactly how the JP servers have been oh so many seasons. Japanese pro players STILL play with 160+ ping on the NA servers because there are fewer cheaters there. Regarding the anti cheat it's impossible to win this with client side solutions, not to mention that those often come with some serious security and privacy concerns. What we need is good server side anti cheat and a way to make it more difficult to register new accounts (like linking them to a credit card, id etc). No system is perfect and there would still be cheaters but it would at least be much better than what it is now. It's actually kind of amazing how you right now can cheat for months, the servers allow you to do things that should not be impossible (impossible aim, impossible movement), nothing is detected and reports are ignored, and then if you eventually get banned you can just register a new account and be back in a few minutes. EA will probably keep doing nothing, simply milking the game for as much money as they can while it slowly dies and then shut down the servers when the profit margin is no longer large enough to satisfy their investors.

Currently uploading Road to Pred and yeah this game is raunchy asf. Cs2 has the same problem. What's really crazy though is that these kids will actually try to gaslight you and do their little song and dance emote routine as if they actually shit on you when they're clearly running Panda or use a Strike/Zen. I've heard pros talking about how when they play ranked offstream on a different account they run into way more cheaters, I've also had my teammate get targeted repeatedly every game by a bunch of random cheaters, they would esp straight to her, kill her, then just run away usually leaving me and our other teammate alive. seeing as you can very easily closet cheat, you can cheat without getting detected, and you can almost entirely avoid manual bans by not fighting streamers and pros, pred lobbies are unnecessarily difficult for legit players
I am consistently seeing cheaters with strike packs, scrips, wall hacks and aimbot more than ever in Apex. The worse thing is that they have 3 plus predator badges and haven't been banned. That means they have been cheating do 9 plus months without punishment.

You want to stop cheaters? Make EA take action? Become that cheater. Find whatever way to gift people Apex Packs just like that one cheater did with Hal but do it to a massive amount of people. EA will not let that pass as this is direct money loss for them. You will likely get banned, you will likely get sued if they find out. But that would be the 100% foolproof way to make EA care; hurt their wallet.

You can never prevent cheaters on PC, it was never meant to be a multiplayer gaming platform (devlopment only) Xbox has a locked bootloader, no point spending big $$$ on PC if you like multiplayer. It's hillarious to anyone who understands how computers work that you expect this to ever change. Plug your MnK into an xbox, turn off cross-play and find out how good you really are/aren't
One true solution to cheating for any game ever would be for Sony and Xbox to create a console that allows true mouse n keyboard gaming at 240hz and to constantly update the systems so people can’t jailbreak them and play online
Even Xbox and PlayStation are not Safe. There is a hack which can make your PC to a Xbox or PlayStation, and then u can just use the normal PC Hacks. And there is also the Cronus Zen, and it doesnt look like it's really possible to detect...
What a fantastic and informative video. I have been gaming since the days of the NES when I was just old enough to hold the controller! Now I have twin sons who are better than me at gaming 😹 Over the years though, when playing online, I have noticed many "suspect" players. I knew cheating online was a thing but I never knew how lucrative it was. I remember when the first Call of Duty back in '03 used Punkbuster Anti Cheat and it was pretty good as a deterrent to cheaters / hackers. It's such a shame that people sink to these depths just to win and ruin everyone else's experience. I really wish that something can be done to combat this (but I don't hold out much hope) Thank you again for this video
Good, informative video. To try and answer the final question, I genuinely think they will take action in the following months to counter the problem. The game is set to have a lifespan of 10yrs according to some dev itw. If they want to keep their scene and cc/pro players, they WILL have to take action quick, otherwise the next good FPS will instantly absorb what’s left of this community (cf. Valorant, The Finals when it released)

Frankly because there isn’t really a reason to cheat in those games because you don’t get an edge over players and the little wimpy babies that use cheats want to feel better than everyone else.

They just (early last year?) stood up a new studio to develop/play test content for Apex Legends. I'd wager that the content we've seen in the last two seasons (19/20) is likely their efforts/contributions coming to fruition; furthermore, they've released back to back solutions for long awaited capabilities (cross progression and next generation) while also addressing the terrible rank situation and ring healers/exploiters(stuff along the lines of farming badges). I believe this may be (fingers crossed) a new development tempo and I'm hoping over the next few seasons we'll see additional improvements/systems/investing to solve other long standing issues (like audio, netcode, and cheating).. 🤷♂a person can dream... lol
It isn't just Apex having this issue. It's the FPS genre in general. People will always be scummy no matter what. They will take the shortest route to feeling like they're "good" at the game without putting in the time to learn anything. I genuinely believe that we need an anti-cheat that can look at inputs and behavior with deep learning.
Even then detecting dma is pretty much impossible. Other then detecting 1 firmware being sold to tons of people you can very easily get your hands on a 1 of 1 firmware copy for around 100 ish bux and be invulnerable to any anticheat on the market. Software can simply not detect something on a hardware level.
Your mindset is rotted, we DON’T need more intrusive anticheat, we need more EFFECTIVE anticheat, and we need a anticheat that detect real time action, not just block cheats because this is not effective at all… also Valorant, the game with the most intrusive anticheat, have a lot of cheaters too, but they look like a just good players…
@@miraizinhamiraizoka if you want a effective anticheat it'll have to be more intrusive then the cheat because they do whatever they can to bypass anticheats. Valorants anticheat is pretty good. Most cheaters use hardware based cheats as the usual software ones get you banned after 2 matches. They're also very expensive due to how effective vanguard is drawing alot of cheaters away from valorant. Most non hardware based cheats go for 100+ a month.

I've been an fps gamer for 15 years. I've seen many different waves of cheating across many titles over the years. It's never been like it is now cheating is the mainstream and nothing is being done about it. I think we are at or nearing a breaking point.
Once you realize how many cheaters there are (whether its soft x-ray, scripting, Zen, Strike, Panda, etc. you get it) you'll understand why guys like Bobz, Thordan, Jankz don't talk about this more. Its bad for business. If half of your audience are fking cheaters you probably won't want to talk about it how awful it is as much. That's just my cynic brain though.
I’d also go as far as to say there’s a chance that some may even be using them. If you look at the Cronus Zen for example, any video I’ve seen that even use the lightest version (50% reduction in Recoil) look an awful lot like a lot of those guys. I’m not saying they are cheating, they could just be insanely consistent, but it can definitely look sketchy. Now these patches? I think they’re called? They don’t auto lock onto people, they don’t bend bullets around corners, they don’t guarantee headshots or anything along those lines, but a 50% recoil reduction is insane. If you imagine say the R-301 goes 1m vertical, 0.5m left, then 1m vertical again in its recoil pattern, that 50% reduction to 0.5 vertical, 0.25m left and 0.5m vertical again, it’s much easier to hit your shots once you get it on target And the thing is, it is such a small difference that if anyone observed after you killed then, they’d see you missing shots, whiffing etc and it would - for all intents and purposes - just look like you got lucky in that firefight, yet you’re cheating. I always thought that a Cronus Zen would be super obvious but now it’s like, for all we know people can be cheating in the least obvious ways and it pass off as if it’s either skill or luck
that's always why in cs I would joke about "toggling". keeping the x-ray turned off until its your must win round or gunfight runs rampant in that game. i definitely understand the pressure to upload consistent gameplay but at the end of the day they set the standard for the community. it's like when strike packs first started spreading in CoD. Thankfully, there's still ways to shit on these kids if you are stacking but stacking should never be a pre requisite to perform well when its a 3 man squad. Respawn knows if they enforce the "fuck you anti cheat" 1/3 of the player base will be gone. just have to try and stay positive. @@NJTRAF
@@Mellow0721 absolutely, but i'm just saying that with how the Zen can be used - like I described above just applying Patches that give "small" amounts of help (not that a 50% reduction is small but compared to how ridiculous they could make those patches it is small) you could be in a lobby with 56 cheaters and not be able to tell if they're not going completely over the top with it. That shit is really difficult to tell from gameplay alone

I think that this is only going to get worse, to be completely honest. There are now thousands of game developers with bills, no income, and good reason to hold a grudge against some of these companies.
It's not like they aren't trying to ban the cheaters. They banned 72 preds and masters yesterday, including two preds in top 50. It's just about preventing that these people can play the game in the first place
I think the best way to fight cheater from company perspective is, do not make the game free. So when someone want to cheat and got banned, they need to buy the game again and again. Make it free mean they have nothing to lose, so why not try using it. For example is PUBG, when the game is not free, its really rare to see anyone using cheat. But now when its free, you can see them on every single lobby.
I’m convinced 80% (if not more) of the Pred player base in Apex are cheaters in some form of way, either, Cronus, configs, zen, paid cheats etc. And yeah most of them are those “famous” streamers people like to defend en chrome their meat all the time.
Here's what I think; corporate wants a share of the hacker profits so they white list the cheaters that are part of the hacker affiliate network, who also, lowkey, advertises the sale of backdoor hardware circumventing the cheat detection in COD and other mainstream games. ...Or, corporate is just lazy
I have not played Apex since watson was released, downloaded apex for the first time in forever last night first game got in to a lobby with someone rage hacking. I play call of duty, so I’m used to people cheating with ESP and things of that sort But it seems no matter what game you play nowadays it is getting out of hand. For my fellow xbox players In the settings you can block cross platform play in your account settings on the xbox forcing the game to put you against only console players this works for cod as well as Apex Legends
Limiting cross play only reduces the cheaters against you to using Cronus/zen but they’re still there. Had to turn crossplay on cod last week because it was getting really bad. That’s when I noticed a new cheater trick that lags the shit out of me, but only when I’m flying a helicopter. Makes it almost impossible to pilot. I guess I’m supposed to be gaslit into thinking my fiber internet is bad… but only when I fly… 🤷♂️
I'm from Brazil and on my country's servers this season there are many hackers appearing with their nicknames all in Chinese using aimbot. In 5 years of playing the game I had never seen a hack in matches and this season things are getting worse respawn/EA needs to do something
Onlines games are slowly getting unplayable... I'm 40, I've been playing online games since the mid 90s with Doom on a 28.8k dialup modem. I think the first time I really encountered cheaters was on a cracked version of Counter-Strike 1.6 while playing on Russian servers. Cracked servers didn't have any anti-cheat but it was still relatively playable because most cheaters back then were programmers that were experimenting and/or doing stupid stuff to make us laugh. Even the cracked CS Russian servers back then were a lot more playable than any online game that we have today... It's pretty sad to see this.
There is only one way to combat cheaters now, and that is to allow gamers to once again host their own games entirely. This brings its own problems in that over zealous game admins can sometimes ruin community fun but its far better than the current situation.
These days there's only one way to make sure you're not playing against cheaters: Custom lobby with friends you trust. Sadly this is not possible in a 100 player battle royale, but other FPS. And that's my preferred way of playing any FPS nowadays. fck cheaters

This is never ending because the consequences for cheating is not severe enough. Until cheaters and hackers get arrested and criminally prosecuted, this will continue to happen en masse. Online multiplaying is a serious business and shouldn't be taken lightly. Hackers and cheaters can destroy online communities. Imagine spending your hard earned time and money on a PC only to be ruined by cheaters. This to me is no different than robbing me in person. You're stealing my time, money and energy. Remove the incentive and watch the experience and joy return back to online games.

I now make a habit of recording my gameplay and habitually reading over the Death Recap and spectating my killers if I think anything weird happened. For example, yesterday I got killed by some solo player who was ratting in the weirdest spot I have ever seen on Olympus, and he killed me with a Volt by doing 129 dmg in 9 SHOTS with NO ATTACHMENTS. My squad was able to kill him, but the short clip I saw of him clearly showed an aimbot. This was in a high tier Gold and Plat lobby, so just imagine what it is like as you approach Diamond/Masters. This season has everything it needed to be a great one, but EA and Respawn's failure to solve the cheater problem is going to kill this game, and I feel bad for the devs who made the amazing changes happen for S20, bc all their hard work is going down the drain. I'm on PC, and from what I hear the cheating problem is even worse on Consoles.

This is hilarious in a sad way. Basically the NA servers are now exactly how the JP servers have been oh so many seasons. Japanese pro players STILL play with 160+ ping on the NA servers because there are fewer cheaters there.
Regarding the anti cheat it's impossible to win this with client side solutions, not to mention that those often come with some serious security and privacy concerns. What we need is good server side anti cheat and a way to make it more difficult to register new accounts (like linking them to a credit card, id etc). No system is perfect and there would still be cheaters but it would at least be much better than what it is now. It's actually kind of amazing how you right now can cheat for months, the servers allow you to do things that should not be impossible (impossible aim, impossible movement), nothing is detected and reports are ignored, and then if you eventually get banned you can just register a new account and be back in a few minutes.
EA will probably keep doing nothing, simply milking the game for as much money as they can while it slowly dies and then shut down the servers when the profit margin is no longer large enough to satisfy their investors.

I've heard pros talking about how when they play ranked offstream on a different account they run into way more cheaters, I've also had my teammate get targeted repeatedly every game by a bunch of random cheaters, they would esp straight to her, kill her, then just run away usually leaving me and our other teammate alive. seeing as you can very easily closet cheat, you can cheat without getting detected, and you can almost entirely avoid manual bans by not fighting streamers and pros, pred lobbies are unnecessarily difficult for legit players

I am consistently seeing cheaters with strike packs, scrips, wall hacks and aimbot more than ever in Apex. The worse thing is that they have 3 plus predator badges and haven't been banned. That means they have been cheating do 9 plus months without punishment.

Become that cheater. Find whatever way to gift people Apex Packs just like that one cheater did with Hal but do it to a massive amount of people. EA will not let that pass as this is direct money loss for them. You will likely get banned, you will likely get sued if they find out. But that would be the 100% foolproof way to make EA care; hurt their wallet.

You can never prevent cheaters on PC, it was never meant to be a multiplayer gaming platform (devlopment only) Xbox has a locked bootloader, no point spending big $$$ on PC if you like multiplayer. One true solution to cheating for any game ever would be for Sony and Xbox to create a console that allows true mouse n keyboard gaming at 240hz and to constantly update the systems so people can’t jailbreak them and play online
Even Xbox and PlayStation are not Safe. There is a hack which can make your PC to a Xbox or PlayStation, and then u can just use the normal PC Hacks. And there is also the Cronus Zen, and it doesnt look like it's really possible to detect...

What a fantastic and informative video. I have been gaming since the days of the NES when I was just old enough to hold the controller! Now I have twin sons who are better than me at gaming 😹
Over the years though, when playing online, I have noticed many "suspect" players. I knew cheating online was a thing but I never knew how lucrative it was. I remember when the first Call of Duty back in '03 used Punkbuster Anti Cheat and it was pretty good as a deterrent to cheaters / hackers.
It's such a shame that people sink to these depths just to win and ruin everyone else's experience.
I really wish that something can be done to combat this (but I don't hold out much hope)

Good, informative video. To try and answer the final question, I genuinely think they will take action in the following months to counter the problem. The game is set to have a lifespan of 10yrs according to some dev itw. If they want to keep their scene and cc/pro players, they WILL have to take action quick, otherwise the next good FPS will instantly absorb what’s left of this community (cf. Valorant, The Finals when it released)

They just (early last year?) stood up a new studio to develop/play test content for Apex Legends. I'd wager that the content we've seen in the last two seasons (19/20) is likely their efforts/contributions coming to fruition; furthermore, they've released back to back solutions for long awaited capabilities (cross progression and next generation) while also addressing the terrible rank situation and ring healers/exploiters(stuff along the lines of farming badges). I believe this may be (fingers crossed) a new development tempo and I'm hoping over the next few seasons we'll see additional improvements/systems/investing to solve other long standing issues (like audio, netcode, and cheating).. 🤷♂a person can dream... lol
It isn't just Apex having this issue. It's the FPS genre in general. People will always be scummy no matter what. They will take the shortest route to feeling like they're "good" at the game without putting in the time to learn anything. I genuinely believe that we need an anti-cheat that can look at inputs and behavior with deep learning.

Even then detecting dma is pretty much impossible. Other then detecting 1 firmware being sold to tons of people you can very easily get your hands on a 1 of 1 firmware copy for around 100 ish bux and be invulnerable to any anticheat on the market. Software can simply not detect something on a hardware level.

@@miraizinhamiraizoka if you want a effective anticheat it'll have to be more intrusive then the cheat because they do whatever they can to bypass anticheats. Valorants anticheat is pretty good. Most cheaters use hardware based cheats as the usual software ones get you banned after 2 matches. They're also very expensive due to how effective vanguard is drawing alot of cheaters away from valorant. Most non hardware based cheats go for 100+ a month.

I've been an fps gamer for 15 years. I've seen many different waves of cheating across many titles over the years. It's never been like it is now cheating is the mainstream and nothing is being done about it. I think we are at or nearing a breaking point.

Once you realize how many cheaters there are (whether its soft x-ray, scripting, Zen, Strike, Panda, etc. you get it) you'll understand why guys like Bobz, Thordan, Jankz don't talk about this more. Its bad for business. If half of your audience are fking cheaters you probably won't want to talk about it how awful it is as much. That's just my cynic brain though.
I’d also go as far as to say there’s a chance that some may even be using them.
If you look at the Cronus Zen for example, any video I’ve seen that even use the lightest version (50% reduction in Recoil) look an awful lot like a lot of those guys.
I’m not saying they are cheating, they could just be insanely consistent, but it can definitely look sketchy.
Now these patches? I think they’re called? They don’t auto lock onto people, they don’t bend bullets around corners, they don’t guarantee headshots or anything along those lines, but a 50% recoil reduction is insane.
If you imagine say the R-301 goes 1m vertical, 0.5m left, then 1m vertical again in its recoil pattern, that 50% reduction to 0.5 vertical, 0.25m left and 0.5m vertical again, it’s much easier to hit your shots once you get it on target
And the thing is, it is such a small difference that if anyone observed after you killed then, they’d see you missing shots, whiffing etc and it would - for all intents and purposes - just look like you got lucky in that firefight, yet you’re cheating.
I always thought that a Cronus Zen would be super obvious but now it’s like, for all we know people can be cheating in the least obvious ways and it pass off as if it’s either skill or luck
that's always why in cs I would joke about "toggling". keeping the x-ray turned off until its your must win round or gunfight runs rampant in that game. i definitely understand the pressure to upload consistent gameplay but at the end of the day they set the standard for the community. it's like when strike packs first started spreading in CoD. Thankfully, there's still ways to shit on these kids if you are stacking but stacking should never be a pre requisite to perform well when its a 3 man squad. Respawn knows if they enforce the "fuck you anti cheat" 1/3 of the player base will be gone. just have to try and stay positive. @@NJTRAF
@@Mellow0721 absolutely, but i'm just saying that with how the Zen can be used - like I described above just applying Patches that give "small" amounts of help (not that a 50% reduction is small but compared to how ridiculous they could make those patches it is small) you could be in a lobby with 56 cheaters and not be able to tell if they're not going completely over the top with it. That shit is really difficult to tell from gameplay alone

I think the best way to fight cheater from company perspective is, do not make the game free. So when someone want to cheat and got banned, they need to buy the game again and again.
Make it free mean they have nothing to lose, so why not try using it.
For example is PUBG, when the game is not free, its really rare to see anyone using cheat. But now when its free, you can see them on every single lobby.
I’m convinced 80% (if not more) of the Pred player base in Apex are cheaters in some form of way, either, Cronus, configs, zen, paid cheats etc. And yeah most of them are those “famous” streamers people like to defend en chrome their meat all the time.

I have not played Apex since watson was released, downloaded apex for the first time in forever last night first game got in to a lobby with someone rage hacking. I play call of duty, so I’m used to people cheating with ESP and things of that sort But it seems no matter what game you play nowadays it is getting out of hand.
For my fellow xbox players In the settings you can block cross platform play in your account settings on the xbox forcing the game to put you against only console players this works for cod as well as Apex Legends
Limiting cross play only reduces the cheaters against you to using Cronus/zen but they’re still there. Had to turn crossplay on cod last week because it was getting really bad. That’s when I noticed a new cheater trick that lags the shit out of me, but only when I’m flying a helicopter. Makes it almost impossible to pilot. I guess I’m supposed to be gaslit into thinking my fiber internet is bad… but only when I fly… 🤷♂️

I'm from Brazil and on my country's servers this season there are many hackers appearing with their nicknames all in Chinese using aimbot. In 5 years of playing the game I had never seen a hack in matches and this season things are getting worse respawn/EA needs to do something
Onlines games are slowly getting unplayable... I'm 40, I've been playing online games since the mid 90s with Doom on a 28.8k dialup modem. I think the first time I really encountered cheaters was on a cracked version of Counter-Strike 1.6 while playing on Russian servers. Cracked servers didn't have any anti-cheat but it was still relatively playable because most cheaters back then were programmers that were experimenting and/or doing stupid stuff to make us laugh. Even the cracked CS Russian servers back then were a lot more playable than any online game that we have today... It's pretty sad to see this.
There is only one way to combat cheaters now, and that is to allow gamers to once again host their own games entirely. This brings its own problems in that over zealous game admins can sometimes ruin community fun but its far better than the current situation.

These days there's only one way to make sure you're not playing against cheaters:
Custom lobby with friends you trust. Sadly this is not possible in a 100 player battle royale, but other FPS. And that's my preferred way of playing any FPS nowadays. fck cheaters
