I like going back to these older videos, a lot of fun to see how far you've come Matt
The barrel proof version is amazing.
Even more lemon tobacco cake flavor.
^^ What he said ^^
it's incredible.
Drunken Matt makes the best Whiskey videos on CZcams. 😆
Definitely! And WTWT Matt makes the second best!
Went to my local in Myrtle Beach and he recommended Woodenville. Very nice poor for $40.
Thanks for watching everyone! If you're not subscribed already, hit that button!!
I know this is a two year old video but just found it. Two weeks ago I went to the Woodinville distillery for a tasting with my son and grandson. I bought a bottle of the Limited Release Bourbon finished in Port Casks for $47.40. I already had a bottle of their regular bourbon that I bought in Oregon for $40.00. Both are very good. Cheers
Green Caramel Apple for me, delicious. Their tasting notes on the label, “chocolate”, I don’t get that at all. I appreciate your videos, thanks for your channel!
woodenville's got the best corks in the game: solid cork, no glue involved. same with the bottles: square chonker, could be used as a murder weapon. but really the best part is whats inside: their bourbon is good, their rye is great, and they started in 2010 so there should be some really good stuff coming out soon.
Still finding this one for $38 in Michigan, bought three bottles. All the rarer finished versions are over $70. Stock up!
Just bought one tonight for $37. Last one on the shelf.
PNW here. All those grains get trucked about 3 hours from Quincy to Woodinville, Wa.
My wife picked this bottle for my birthday. Gotta say, it's not bad. She did well for me.
Saw it today but passed because I never heard of it. Now I have to drive 50 miles back to where I saw it.
Thanks Matt...that is my local brand, I like to gift it to my friends out of state.
Once all the Rona is done I'm going to visit my mom in Washington! Excited to try this out
Nice! It's going to be amazing to be able to travel freely again! Hope it happens soon!
I just opened a bottle and it’s GREAT!!
2 mins in and I am cracking up. This video is awesome
7min mark is maybe the best Whiskey review moment I HAVE EVER SEEN. WHAT JUST HIT ME???
Although you're not a doctor, I trust your opinion and will pick a bottle up.
I trust you too
Finally picked up a bottle of Woodinville and I like it. No burn at all and has some unique tastes I can't pin point but I like it. Thanks for the review. Cheers.
Out hunting bottles today and Woodinville was all over the place. Wish I would have seen your video before my search cause I would have picked one up. What I did find was some Buffalo Trace and a bottle of Belle Meade.
OMG you are hilarious. Creme Brulee and Spice Cabinet!!!! LOL!!!!!! My favorite CZcams Channel!
Haha! Thank you for watching!
I have bottle 128 of batch #1. Been saving it for a special occasion
"some shit as we like to call it in the Industry" - Matt
I'm really liking New Riff right now. Hoping to try more craft distilleries.
New Riff is killing it! Unique stuff!
Hell fire! They put a damn novel on the back of that bottle. I had to go grab a blueberry muffin half way through you reading that. As always, quality review.
Hahaha thanks DC! Blueberry Muffin sounds killer right now!
Not sure if you've had it already, Matt, but if not, try Woodinville Port Cask finish bourbon whiskey. It's really good as well.
Loved the review since I only live about 10 min from Woodinville and yes their whiskey is the bomb!! Totally cracked me up keep up the reviews!!
You beat me. I'm about 15 mins away. I really enjoyed their Triple Barrel release they did just before the world fell apart last spring. The third cask was a used Ardbeg. Great dram to drink while grilling.
For the first time in my life, I'm proud to be from Washington...cuz you featured this whiskey. 😢
Gooood stuff coming out of your state!
In my top 5 of the year made better by getting three bottles for $30 apiece. I'm curious to try the port finish.
If you liked the this bottling from them then you’ll dig the port finish. Worth the couple extra bucks.
@@gregpulsipher848 I think I went and got the port finish shortly after writing this...haha! It's so good. I will probably just buy that one from here on out.
Great video bud! ADHD for life!
Thanks Rogi!
Wilderness trail would have to be my favorite overall craft distillery and bartletts would have to be my favorite Texas craft distillery.
Wilderness Trail Rye is so good!
The small batch bourbon is fantastic also
At least 5-years-old, pot-distilled sweet mash, 72/22/6, 110 entry proof, and the cask strength is to die for. (Knowing is half the battle!)
I tried shooting a video where I went in depth on details and history and it was the worst thing I've ever done, lol. Realized that I just wasnt that guy. But I agree, that research is the best friend of a whiskey nut. OH! I saw a port finish Woodinville Bourbon while I was in CO. Almost picked it up, but passed...have you tried that one?
@@ADHDWhiskey ive only had the cask strength versions from a special event.
@@ADHDWhiskey The Port finish is my absolute favorite bourbon Ever. It’s amazing. It puts Angels Envy to shame.
2020 world swirlies coming up... I better see you in the finals.
Hope they aren't canceled!
Chattanooga whiskey!
When do we get videos from the new house? How that setup going to look?
Still havent shot any content at the new place. This one is challenging. Luckily I shot some extra content before we moved
Woodinville is pretty damn tasty for the price. I just killed a pretty new bottle tonight. As a plus, I like the bottle a lot so I may use it for an infinity bottle
I like Woodinville products, especially the 100% rye, but if you want to try some great WA whiskey, get your hands on some Dry Fly.
They make a 120 proof 100% wheat whiskey, another version that is aged in port barrels, Triticale grain whiskey, and a fantastic bourbon.
I didn't know Dry Fly was a product of Washington. I'll give them a try!
The purple top port finished dry fly is amazing
themoefosho, is that the triticale grain the tribbles loved in StarTrek?? 🐹 😄😉
The Woodinville Rye is one of my favorite Rye's
Shlammered Matt is the best Matt
Editing the schlammered videos is always.....interesting lol
Woodonville gives me flavors of apple juice sweetened with honey. Delicious bourbon and one I always try to have on hand, along with a backup.
Game 7…. LOL
Good review and highly entertaining, that is how to get shlammered and review whisky. I have tried this and a few of the other woodinville offerings and i have liked them all .seems like they're doing some good things up there in WA. Not really sure if they will appreciate you telling them to stick their rectangular bottle up their ass ? But if they can't take a joke f#ck em . They'll get over it.
If they cant take a joke, they can shove the joke up their ass.
BIG SEXXXYYY at it again, cheers to a great video and some props to your wife, Washington DC is one of the best places is Washington State, hands down, lol. Keep killing it Big Man!!!!
Thanks Scott! You the man!
The swirl! and how you were able to pick up that creme brulee and spice cabinet - wow! Appreciate the review, cheers Matt.
The notes just came to me!!
