Sunflower :: A Calming Sketch Meditation

In our hectic lives it can be hugely beneficial to take some time out for a bit of peace and relaxation. In this video I offer you the chance to do just that. The idea is to watch this simple sketch of a sunflower in real-time, let the sounds wash over you, and try to drift yourself into a trance-like happy place. Falling asleep is allowed and encouraged :o)

That was very relaxing Donald, how did you feel whilst drawing it? Sometimes I just get in the zone but others, I get quite tight and almost stressed almost feel like rushing to the end. Must say though that I am more relaxed when drawing than I used to be. Great video🙏

Thanks Graham, I was quite chilled drawing this but because this kind of thing is to me, there is an element of thinking it’s going to end up a mess. I get what you mean, especially if a drawing starts off well it does add to the pressure not to ruin it. The perils of art! Cheers, Donald.
