I am a German, and a US citizen now. It amazes me - the infatuation Americans have with Hitler and Nazis. It looks like no one can get a better comparison than Hitler. BTW, he did some good before he went off the deep end - he dragged Germany out of a huge depression, gave people jobs by building the Autobahn (highway system), the Volkswagen, jet-engines and more. He ended up a meth addict, prescribed by his own doctor. That may have been part of the reason why he did such evil stuff. Many of the soldiers and officers were addicted to painkillers. Meth was given to soldiers to stay awake. My German family lost everything twice in two world wars, my grandfather died of alcoholism due to PTSD from the Russian Front - but I still have the ability to see history as it was.

I am not an American, but from a country where generally people and government try to shut down offensive ideas. Since I grew up in this sort of environment I also sometimes think "Woah! How can this person say such a thing. Someone should censor him". Lately I have been trying to improve myself and I have to say it's difficult sometimes to curb these long time habits

I’m with Kanye, I think there is good and something to learn from everyone,
Hitler for example was an exceptional leader of people, he introduced animal cruelty laws, banned smoking in a lot of public places and around children, started construction on the autobahn after failed attempts by others, creating highways as we know them today, created the first public television station, there are many more examples, this does not excuse all of the bad that Hitler did but it does show that a lot of what Kanye says goes over the top of the uneducated heads of most people, if you listen to the root of what Kanye says, none of it is even remotely terrible, it’s the misunderstanding, and the need to be seen as righteous that’s the problem

@Acordionista509 i remember a few years ago when a podcast would have an exclusive guest. Now every guest has been on 40 different podcasts in the last year and every previous guest now has a podcast themselves has on all their previous hosts.

Kanye was having fun with them since they decided to freeze his accounts. He just decided to go all the way there with them because he felt he had nothing to lose. If you actually watch the interview he was laughing and having fun. He's also not hating them as a community, he's named individuals.

I had the same view as most everyone else then I watched those censored videos purely by chance and I tell you they’re very interesting.. This will all probably be debated til the end of time.. They were seemingly doing very well were the Germans before the war and bounced back after such immensely hard times.. Their technology was also very advanced.. Why would they just flush it all down the drain and turn heel making the world hate them?
