I've heard the same from other vets.
That is because Russia is a real country and they are serving in defense unlike the US Army that fights for homosexuality, international banks, Israel, etc. The US wars are scams based on lies like 9/11 and the Gulf of Tonkin. The Russians fight wars of survival like Ukraine, WW2, etc. Russians don't promote homosexuality and transgenderism. They promote being a man. No wonder people there join up.

As an ex-WAVE there is NO way I would encourage any woman to join the navy today. In my day those exposed as homosexuals were discharged. Today, I would worry about my back shoulder some TG assault me and the higher ups would not have me protected but probably discharge me. Our military is weak and vulnerable for any attack from our enemies today. As a country I do not see us lasting until 2030.

Veteran here. I'm very worried about our military readiness at this very moment. If we don't see change soon, we will pay dearly for our complacency and DEI metrics the government thinks are important! We need the best and brightest that know what the military requires of them.

It will keep them busy with real work rather than waste their time n energy on nonsensical protests. Plus as veterans they can benefit from the perks like buying a home later in life with va loans. There so many other benefits to list. Freedom does not mean everything you do is profitable; some acts are detrimental.

Define "grunt" and why is that important to you? Reading her bio it seems that she started at the bottom as a "specialist" in the National Guard, has been deployed and served in an Infantry Brigade Combat Team in Iraq, and then after completing her deployment got commissioned in Officer Candidate School and then ascended to Lieutenant Colonel ranking. I've seen videos posted of her with some fitness trainers and ex military types putting her to work, and to be honest she is very impressive physically and strengthwise, particularly for a female, and her endurance fitness and pain threshhold could certainly compare to some of her male counterparts. Don't get my words twisted - I'm not saying she's taking out all the males out there - but she is one of those females that can pull her own weight with some legit grit that I would argue would impress most of her male counterparts. So maybe tell us why you said what you did.

I have a friend that served on several tours in The Australian deference force in Afghanistan. He told me the story of sitting in a US mess and being asked why your sitting at this table? Dont you care about what people will think? Confused he asked what the fuck? To have females like Ms. Gabbard in the military was the first step downhill, the 2nd was allowing gays in and its just accelerated down since then. I'm glad I'm out and didn't serve during most of that. But to watch females go through basic training and then next level after basic, have to do less than the males do and still get the same rank afterwards and females like Gabbard attain high rank KNOWING that she NEVER had to do what the males did but are given authority over them, it causes hidden but a deep seeded problem. Which occasionally shows itself in things like the Tailhook incident and others. You want to be equal? raise the standards to what they were for males and have ALL females have to meet THOSE standards. If they can't they don't stay in the military. I'd almost guarantee that Gabbard (and most other females talking heads) WOULDN'T have made the cut and not be serving.
I can't count the numerous times, either I or other males, had to do double duty to "help the female" do the same thing as I and the rest of the males doing my job, did on our own!

No, they are saying that it should not matter. The DEI metrics and KPI are utter nonsense, because for political leadership it is more important to bring in xyz % of LBGQT+ people into all levels of military, so it is not so much about getting the best military but about achieving DEI metrics. This is dangerous for any organization.
